Book two in the All I Want for Christmas Is... series. I admit after reading the first book I was eager to get my hands on this one because this time it is Daveed's ex-fiance and his friend Murphy. Murphy's sister is still missing and when he goes to intercept the man he thinks knows something Shayma intervenes instead. The two of them decide to work together to solve the case as she can help. This puts the two of them in constant temptation which as we all know just leads to a matter of time but man did it get hot as they resisted. This is an excellent steamy holiday romance novel that will keep the reader hooked until the very last page. I really enjoyed reading it so I give it 4/5 stars. Now to get my hands on book three...

A good read for Christmas! I missed the first in the series, but I didn't feel like I missed much of the story, other than the friends realizing that Aileen was missing. I'm really anxious to see how this series ends and hope that they find Aileen. Murphy was a big dufus about having a relationship, but I'm glad he finally came around. Shayma was a sweetheart.

When you have a guy like Murphy who's learned to be on his own and to depend so much on himself, then you probably need all the understanding in the world and it's great that Shayma does have a bit of that. She's also very innovative and cannot resist calling him on his little lies and insecurities. This is the second book that Leslie North has written that follows a group of SEAL officers in their quest to track down and rescue Aileen, Murphy's Sister, who's missing.
I read A Sheikh for Christmas which is Daveed and Mel's story and couldn't help comparing the lead characters, but one thing is certain that they SEAL team of friends will not give up until they've safely rescued Aileen and I can't wait to read about that.
The pace is even in most parts of the book and you cannot help but feel the chemistry between Murphy and Shayma. I'll admit that receiving a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a review has me hoping for more books from the author.

I was so excited to see that Shayma is having a second chance at her happily ever after. Although Murphy fights it the whole time. Stubborn men. The ending was nice, just not what I expected.
