Always nice to read about new books and my to be read pile is getting longer and longer.
Always appreciate the curated content in this Buzz Books series
A fantastic overview of books being released in Spring/Summer 2018. I've added a few books to my TBR pile from this guide from Author's I've not been experienced before. I look forward to seeing future editions as the seasons change.
I appreciate the Buzz Books!!!
Reviewing them is difficult. They are useful, insightful, and provide an excellent resource for librarians, avid readers, acquisitions personnel, and anyone who wants ideas about books "in the pipeline."
My TBR pile grows every time I peruse a "Buzz Books," and I hope they continue to be offered.
I love Buzz books. I love that they give me the opportunity to see what is coming up in the next few months. It lets me choose what books I may be interested in reading in the future, either through Netgalley or on my own. Thank you for these great books.
Thanks to Netgallery for an eARC of this book. I deeply appreciate Buzz Books and the ability to preview books in advance of publication. It enables me to order more thoughtfully for my store. Great, as always.
This publication is great for finding new books to read.
It's great to be able to get previews of such a large selection of upcoming books! My TBR list got a little out of control after reading this. There are just so many interesting excerpts!
I always look forward to the Buzz Book compilations. This Spring/Summer 2018 offering really knocked my socks off! It’s a one stop shop to plan your upcoming months of reading life. There’s so much here for favorite authors, new emerging talent, fiction and nonfiction, your TBR lists will be exploding! One thing I really do enjoy about the excerpts is how I find it really encourages me to reach outside of my normal genres. I try to read all of them and as a result have ventured further and further outside my usual ‘literary lanes’. It’s refreshing and exciting to discover something I might not have otherwise. I highly recommend!
I love getting the buzzbook and always end up adding something on my already too full tbr list! The excerpts are great, little pieces of the books to peek at!
Thanks Netgalley!
I always enjoy these books. I love to see is upcoming in the book world!
This is definitely always a helpful tool for librarians. Being able to get a snippet before ordering a book is always handy. The selections this spring and the diversity are wonderful. I added way too many to my TBR and I hope my teens do too!
This sampler made me really antsy for the release of many of these books. Really enjoyed starting books that I had not hear about like My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh.
This book was furnished to me by NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. Thankmyou for this opportunity.
Without giving anything away just get this book now!!! It's very compelling and I literaļy flew through it. This book can not be missed!!
I always love getting these! Thanks for all the insight into the new books coming out.
I always look forward to the Buzz Books releases to see what books are coming out in the next few months!
I am so excited for all of the new releases! That you to Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for allowing us a preview of books coming soon.
So many exciting books coming out in Spring/Summer. I am very excited to see some new titles by some of my favorite authors. I am also very excited to read some books by debuting authors or new to me authors. Thank you NetGalley for this glimpse into the books for 2018.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for sending me a digital arc of these books. My mother-in-law loves Kristan Higgins and after an excerpt from "Good Luck With That" I know she is going to love this new book. There are so many other fantastic books coming out. My TBR keeps growing.
Normally I gush about how much I adore Buzz Books (because I do) but this time I'm going to just jump right into things, because I am SO EXCITED to talk about Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage. I am about 1/3 of the way through the galley, so I won't say too much, because I will eventually review it, but OH MY GOSH. Its the kind of book you read in line at the grocery store because you need to be reading it every spare minute. I have absolutely NO idea how it will end. It is engrossing. The relationship between mother and daughter is fascinating and terrifying. And every one ever should read it.
On that note, spring and summer are looking SO GOOD for readers that love thrillers. There were so many books previewed in this edition of Buzz Books that look delightfully tense.
Our House opens with the main character watching someone move into her house- I knew by the end of the first paragraph that I loved the authors writing style. It is quick and tense and uncomfortable in the best way.
Our Kind of Cruelty is the story of a stalker in love- YES PLEASE!! It is absolutely the kind of book you read on a rainy day with your doors locked and your windows covered.
All The Beautiful Lies, Wicked River, The Perfect Mother- all thrillers with incredible previews, that I can hardly wait to read in full!
Also deserving of mention here, there were a few books that I talked about in my review of the April Buzz Books. This I Know seems INCREDIBLE. Holy guacamole that author can write. It opens up on a scene narrated by a fetus and some how the author does a beautiful job and it wasn't uncomfortable or weird. The Fox Hunt is an up coming fast paced non fiction novel that I absolutely need to read RIGHT NOW. It has been on my mind since I first read the preview last week. It reads like tense, beautifully crafted fiction.
Last but not least, there was a preview for a non fiction book called A Handful of Happiness by Massimo Vacchetta. I was hooked just off of the cover alone- A picture of an adorable little hedgehog on her back in someones cupped hands. This is the story of veterinarian coming to terms with his own emotional pain through caring for an orphaned hedgehog. Seriously, what could be cuter?!
I think it goes without saying, but my TBR pile has once again grown. A lot. I can hardly wait to get my hands on these titles.
