Sins of the Fathers is a well written book. I liked , how Mrs Morgan described the mental illness. I enjoyed Jack and Becca. They had good chemistry. Overall this book is totally worth ☆☆☆☆☆.

Sins of the Fathers is a well written suspense with a well crafted plot and characters. Kept me on the edge of my seat.

I received an arc from Netgalley. This book had me on the edge of my seat until the end. Three times I thought I had the killer figured out but I was totally wrong in the end.
Jack is the strong protective type and Becca is his perfect match. They had a lot of past history to overcome however the love between them won in the end.
Definitely an author I will be looking for more often. Although the beginning had me trying to figure out who all the characters were , I am glad I stuck with it. 5 stars

There is a serial rapist terrifying Tulsa, Oklahoma. And the crimes are escalating. Women of all ages have been targeted, some killed, some not ... but all are given a cross carved into their chests.

Jack Conroy is a detective who is highly frustrated with not being able to catch this killer. These cases are very personal to him ... his own sister was killed by a rapist when she was just a child.

Rebecca Bennett is a trauma therapist, mot of her clients have been assaulted in one way or another. Rebecca has a special affinity for these women ... her own father was a rapist and murderer.

Conroy wants Bennett to assist him in getting these victims to talk to him ... to give him anything he can go after. Rebecca normally would have no reason not to help .. but her brother is missing, he's schizophrenic and off his meds. She is scared senseless praying her brother is not the man Conroy is after.

There's an immediate attraction between Conroy and Bennett ... but what will happen will he learns that she is the daughter of the man who murdered his sister? And how will Conroy react when the killer goes after Bennett?

The author has really done her research! It's a well-written crime fiction with great detail applied to the homeless, the mentally ill, the victims of assaults. Bennett, especially, is truly credible. Conroy has never got past his sister's murder, even though he was a child himself at the time. His anger is what keeps him going and why he is so determined to bring justice to the victims and their families.

One of these books that can be very controversal. Enjoyed it none the less. Though hard to read at times. Loved the way the book flowed. Great style by the author. Was on the edge of my seat with this book. Oh the suspense. Very good read

Everything in this story is well developed, while I find the ending lacking I was pretty hooked on the plot. The story is almost a breath of fresh air from the usual romantic suspense books as it deals very closely with mental illness. Some of the story was predictable and fell into place a little too easily, while other parts where a bit of a surprise. A solid 4 star read for me.
