I wanted to love this book. I kept trying to finish it, finally I made myself sit down and finish. Let me preface this review by saying the author did a good job writing it. It flowed well and was well edited. It just the story overall wasnt very strong, the trope has been done a bunch, meaning it needs to have a legit twist to get me interested, and it just didnt. Had this been the first book I'd read of this genre I would have scored higher, but as it stands its just "meh".

This was a quick read, which is perfect for an in-between of two heavier, or longer, books. It’s perfect for when you just want an insta-love romance followed by a quick HEA. I’m looking forward to finding, and reading, more by Cora Cade.

This might be an unpopular opinion comparing to the five star reviews it has deserved but then this might solely be my preference and nothing else.

This was pretty quick (no pun intended). The story is basically about Georgia trying to forget her cheat ex by landing a one night stand but Will might be more than that. Now, I would’ve liked it if it wasn’t so short. I mean, there isn’t a setting that I would indulge myself in before caring about the characters or much about the characters themselves. The ex is a cheat and Georgia recenly caught him with someone but it’s kinda too fast when she decides to be done with him and look for someone to sleep with. Maybe it’s just my viewpoint but this sounds too unrealistic and annoying to me.

Then the rest of the book is focused on sex or thoughts of sex. Basically Georgia is taking this forget-my-ex thing sportingly but she came across a bit weird. NO, I DO NOT MEAN SHE ACTED LIKE A SLUT OR THAT WANTING SEX WAS A BAD MOVE. What I mean is her repetitive self-pity about her body--she even gets surprised when Will hits on her because ‘why would anybody like her for her body’. WHY? This was extra weird since she decides to get laid tonight itself but then wonders why anybody would do that. Like, ugh, it was a bit frustrating because her personality kept fluctuating and I couldn't grow up to like her that much. Anyway, like I’ve already mentioned, this might be my personal viewpoint so I do understand how others might not agree with me...and others should understand the same.

I really enjoyed this but it was WAY to short. I would have loved a full length novel to sink in to. I really want more and hope book 2 is a little more meaty.
Short sweet and full of sexy times.

I am giving this book a 4.5 star rating. This is the story of Georgia Burke and Will Calder. Georgia is housesitting for her brother and she has a grand plan of finding a sexy hook-up since she caught her ex-boyfriend having sex with her friend...in her bed...in her apartment. I like how this was not like most novellas that skip straight to sex.

Will was a gentleman. He took it slow and conversed with Georgia, instead of just wanting to have sex with her. He was mature. The fact that he was mature was a breath of fresh air for me. He wanted to prove to Georgia that he was worth her time. He was willing to go the extra mile to do whatever it took to show her. He was willing to chase her. I really like that. I also liked how Will was always complimenting her.

The chemistry between these two were great. Their banter was hilarious and natural. The author was not trying to push them along too fast. However, I did not like how Georgia was falling in love with Will too fast, even though all she wanted was a booty call. But that does tell the reader how resilient Will is about getting what he wants.

Even though this story moved at a fast pace because it was a novella, the author managed to slow it down in order for the reader to get some attachment to the characters and to let the characters have some interaction other than sex. I would definitely recommend this book. I just wish that it was longer.

Insta love with no depth. Even for. Novella this was lacking any sort of character development.

Meh. Short and sweet-ish. Very contrived, but what do you expect from books in this genre? Frankly, I would have rather read a novella about Will's dog, but that's just me.

Easy fluffy read that takes no time at all.

Tapped was a short and sweet steamy romance and though I usually skip these reads, this one held my attention from start to finish. Yes, it was insta-love and yes it was insta-sex, but I love both of those things and I really loved it here. Georgia isn’t looking to get loved up again, especially after ex and her ex friend betrayed her.
But as these things tend to go, the one guy to make her body tingle all over is interested in more than just one night. Will. Oh, hot, sweet, magnificent Will. I want one of my own and I’ll keep him for more than a night! He’s got a big family and they drop by whenever they want, which produces some true comedic moments that made me laugh out loud.
Tapped is a novella, about 70 pages, but it still a fun time.

2.5 stars

Synopsis: Georgia had a messy breakup with her ex. Since her brother is taking his son on a road trip for the summer, she agrees to look after his home as a change of scenery and pace. She just wants to have a nice one night stand to help her forget the cheater. Instead, she meets Will.
Will is completely intrigued by the woman who doesn't attempt to look like anyone else. He's tired of shallow relationships and wants to start something serious. With Georgia. He just has to convince her that they are for real.

What I liked: that Georgia wasn't a typical size, and that her confidence wasn't the "I'm really confident" as she can't believe that anyone would ever love her because of her body. I liked that Georgia went after what she wanted, and wasn't shy about standing up for herself, or about talking with men. Will liked Georgia for who she was and how she looked, and didn't compare her unfavourably to anyone else. This was set in the same world as several of the author's other books, but I never felt as though I was missing anything in that regards.

What I didn't like: although I didn't feel left behind meeting other characters with a back story that had obviously been covered in other books, I would have liked a lot more story. Basically, Georgia and Will hook up, she meets his family the next day, the end. Well, there was quite a lot of sex, too, or thinking about sex if they weren't having any. It was also kind of hard to remember that Georgia had just caught her ex in bed with another woman, so I was frustrated by her reticence with getting in to something permanent with Will.

Overall impression: if the author writes anything longer, I would be interested to read it, just because I thought the characters were interesting and had good stories to tell.

Tapped was an easy quick read. Georgia went to her brother's house to house sit for the summer. She wanted to get away from the city where she found her boyfriend at the time having sex with her best friend. She needed to get away and wanted a one night stand. Enter Will, he is a hot, sweet, contractor in the small town, where everyone knows everyone. He is tired of one night stands, or just seeing women with no depth. But one look at Georgia and he's hooked. He doesn't want a one night stand with her even though that is her goal for the night. He wants to show her that there is more to their attraction and pull with each other.

This is a cute, sweet story. Will and Georgia have the HOTS for each other. Will's family is just so welcoming and funny. I would definitely recommend to others. Looking forward to reading about the other characters introduced in this book. Thanks for the enjoyable read.

Short story in which Georigia is house sitting for her brother - she needed to escape after catching her ex cheating on her. She is dead set of having a no strings fling while she is away and meets Will in the bar one night. Sparks fly but will it just be the short fling she is looking for or something more?

This is such a fun little story. Ms. Cade introduces her characters quickly and although there isn't in depth characterization, I felt for them and wanted everything to work out. Very quick and fun little novella. I liked that her heroine in this one was a bigger lady and not a svelte supermodel. And the guy liked her right away! :)

Sweet but forgettable. I liked Will and Georgia but there were so many secondary characters (setting things for the next novels, I suppose) in such a short story, I couldn't remember who was whose brother/sister/boyfriend.

Georgia Burke is house keeping her brother’s place for the summer. Disappointed after catching her boyfriend with one of her friends, her first night at Fox Lake goes out for a drink with the intention to have a hot night stand. She will meet Will Calder, who is builder and comes from a rich family and who is enchanted by her from the moment he lay his eyes on her. She will make clear her intentions of wanting him but keeping it casual, but he has other plans… he wants to keep her forever.

What a lovely romance story. Sweet, sexy, fast-paced. I loved the humor it conveyed. I really really enjoyed reading it. It took me just an afternoon.

I loved the characters in this book so much! Georgia's humour and take-no-prisoners style left me wanting more. Please don't let her story end here! Whew! Now that's off my chest, let me say that Cora Cade is now on my must read list!

Isn’t that cover gorgeous? It let me know right away that I could expect a sassy, confident heroine, and boy did this book deliver! This is my first book by Cora Cade, and it’s an off-shoot of a previous series of hers. While it did feel, sometimes, that random characters were being name-dropped, I was able to read and enjoy it without any prior knowledge.

Georgia is so much fun. She’s a curvy size 16 with self-described “great tits,” and if you can’t tell from that, lots of self-confidence, though it’s been battered a bit by an ex-boyfriend. She hilarious and pretty quick on her feet, especially when dealing with Will’s rude ex, who tries to derail their first meeting at a bar. Will is simply a perfect book boyfriend – sweet, stable, loves his family – plus he has a dog. I’m not sure why, but I immediately like a book guy more whenever he has a dog! As usual, there has to be some sort of thing that forces them apart – in this case, it’s that Georgia was only looking for a one-night stand, and isn’t interested in a summer fling, let alone a relationship. Will, on the other hand, is completely smitten with the smart, sexy and confident Georgia and bargains with her to get a second date. Luckily, this happens before his mom shows up unexpectedly at his house… while they’re getting it on!

Will held her hand for a moment, looking into her eyes. “Hey, no pressure here. I’ll make that fire, we can order a pizza or something if you want. Nothing more.”
His handsome face held a hint of nervousness. There, in the wrinkled forehead and mouth turned down in the corners. So adorable.
“Here I thought I followed you home for some hot sex. But pizza is good too.”

If anything, my main issue with this is that it’s so short. I really wish there was more, because the relationship did feel rushed, but I knew this was a novella going in.

Overall, this is a short, steamy, and fun read! Recommended for fans looking for a sexy plus-sized heroine!
