This little book is full of a big amount of information! There’s something for all levels of experience, including tips for children. It’s easy to understand and follow. The size of the book would be perfect for taking with you so that you can practice an exercise at different times of your day.
I’m not sure what it will look like when published but my only dislike is the lack of pictures or diagrams to soften up all the words.
Many thanks to Llewellyn and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.
I am not a Blogger but an average reader, I love to read good material. When I saw the title of your book along with the design I knew I had to inquired and I was not disappointed. The layout was dynamic and I cannot wait until it is published. If you are giving out free copies i would love to have one.
Cute little book with great tips on meditation. Very approachable. Would be a great gift for someone who might feel intimated by meditation and needs a relaxed, friendly introduction.
I finally finished this little book by David Pond "Llewellyn's Little Book of Meditation". I have to say, for this book being a "little book" it is packed with so much information. I had to read it in parts, let them settle in, and then go back to the book for a little more.
There are lots of meditations, from simple beginners to more advanced. I'll admit, some of this was over my head, and the further I got in the book, the some of the material got a bit harder for me to comprehend. If you are a beginner, you may want to get a supplemental material to use with it. If you are more advanced and have been working with meditating for more than a few weeks, then this may be all you need to get more focused in your practice.
I did enjoy the book, but felt I needed a stronger background on meditation to get the fullest benefit from the information.
Many great tips about meditation ! The exercises are clear, easy to follow and easy to understand .Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an eARC
I learned a great many tips about meditation that has helped me so much. When stressors in your life start to affect your health and the way you live your life, it's time to do something about it. With this book you learn that you don't need to sit for an hour, trying to calm your mind. It explains the origin of meditation and the different types you can use. Because it's small, it can be taken with you in your bag or pocket. The author is more knowledgeable in this subject as no one else I know. Thank you Llewellyn and David Pond for allowing me to read such a great book for an honest review which this is.
A clear and concise little book (quite literally - it's super easy to fit into your purse or even a pocket). I particularly appreciated the advice re: children. No new earth shattering concepts but a valuable resource to have at hand.
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest review.
I can't wait to own this book and actually have it in my hands. It's full of wonderful things to help with meditation and pretty much all of them are easy to follow and do. Which is a huge plus! I love how small it is, it's perfect for on the go. I love reading and taking my books everywhere and this is perfect for that. The exercises are easy to follow and everything is easy to understand, the author writes very clearly, which I love. Overall, this book is wonderful!
*I received this for free in an exchange for an honest review*
