Sorry but I couldn't get into the book at all. I tried though, I'm so sorry for my ADD brain.
This was an interesting one, implying a reason for the caretaker-turned-killers. Intriguing!

Another episode whose main POV was a struggle for me to read from. Inez has driven me crazy this season, and really doesn't seem like the same person from season 1. Granted, I understand that her 'best friend' died and she's upset, but she really just acts like an entitled witch.
Other than Inez though, this has been my favorite episode so far that wasn't in Sanctuary. Finally some action! And some serious action at that. Finding out about the history of the caretakers, and how they were treated when they were created, has an affect on all the kids. And everyone starts to look at Sparky a little different. I finally started to like Inez again by the end of this episode, as she finally starts to look at the caretakers as beings with emotions and their own codes of conduct. I'm actually interested now to read more from this group!

I'm not a huge fan of Inez, I never have been. I don't know why, but this next chapter was still really riveting and exciting. The one group is finally making some headway on making its way to Sanctuary to save the others, and people are becoming less suspicious of Jing Wei. The backstory, as always, is lovely to find out. I did enjoy this chapter. 4 out of 5 stars.
