Lovely feel good read. Perfect little town and lovely characters. Great summer read. well written and captured my interest fairly early on which is always great
A perfect summer chick lit read with a sweet romance ! I loved this book and I recommend you read it outside in your summer chair with iced tea or at the beach. It is the perfect way to spend a afternoon.
Thank you for the ARC for review.. My opinions are my own.
This book location is Northumberland's coastal village, Warkton-by-the-Sea. It is the ultimate charming coastal village. , Emma lives here and runs a delightful chocolate shop that is very popular. The descriptions of the chocolate will have your mouth watering and dreaming of visiting if only this was a real place.
The harbor village is told in such exquisite detail that the reader can truly picture the village, Emma's home and shop and the wonderful community . The community members are endearing and sweet as they embrace Emma and her shop. Each supporting charchter adds to the story . Even the dog Alfie is a village charchter and fixture in the story. There is a sweet romance for Emma but it does not overwhelm the story. It is a village that all of us dream of living in and being friends with the wonderful townspeople. and visiting the chocolate shop.. I loved it . The author has even included recipes at the end ! I dare you to not try to make these fantastic recipes. This is one of my favorite reads of the summer, its sweet, fun and well written.
A lovely Chick Lit read...every bit as good as the original :c)

A lovely summer read that sweeps you along in the lovely story of Emma and how her past tragedy has helped sculpt her future.
I loved the characters and setting in this lovely book, it is a brilliant read to relax and unwind with and I was gutted I reached the end of this lovely story in this lovely location so quickly
honestly, i didnt particularly enjoy this book. it was a fun read but i did not enjoy the characters or plot at all.
i would recommend this book to chick lit lovers only
I love the series of books by Caroline Roberts - I like getting to know the characters and then meeting them again. This was no exception- warm and you wanted a happy ending.
Am I the only one who desperately wants to move to Warkton-on-Sea? I just love this little town.
I've read and enjoyed several of Ms. Roberts other "Cosy Teashop" books. The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop did not disappoint. It's sweet and frothy--the perfect beach read! Loved it!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
I Loved this book which is based in a seaside village in Northumberland. The main character is Emma who has set up a chocolate shop in the village. We read all about Emma's life and her family relationships not forgetting Alfie her dog. I found it hard to put the book down and wanted to go on reading when I should have been getting on with other things.
I understand that this is the second book in a series and wish that I had read the earlier one first!
It is the first book that I have read by this author , so I will be looking for her other books to read as well.
Thank you to Net galley for giving me the opportunity to read this book and for introducing me to this author
A warm and cosy tale - hadn’t realised that there was a previous book in the series, so a recap would have helped at the start.
A warm cast of characters with a beautiful setting and the complexity of love, loss and relationships.
A lovely read 4*
The Cozy Seaside Chocolate Shop is a fantastic romance. I enjoyed the plot, characters and the setting. A story of love, disagreements and reconciliation. I enjoyed the writing and look forward to reading more books by this author.
Friendships, community, loss, love and hope.
I absolutely loved this book! Based in Northumberland's magnificent coastal village, Warkton-by-the-Sea, we read all about Emma, her life and her divine Seaside Chocolate Shop.
Through the wonderful descriptions of the idyllic harbour village, we are able to picture the seaside village in so much detail - from Emma's home and shop and Courtyard to the hotel, to her family, her great friends, and the wonderful community and people within, not forgetting Alfie the very cute dog! It is a village that anyone would love to live in where everyone looks out and helps one another.
Such a gorgeous read, with wonderful characters who we can all relate too.
At the end of the book there are some lovely recipes which have been used throughout the story which is a lovely addition and a wonderful way to end the book as you can continue in your own kitchen!
I could not put The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop down, I wanted to keep reading to find out what happened.
A gorgeous cover, a perfect charming delightful Summer read which makes you smile throughout :-)
I would highly recommend The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop - I cannot wait to read Caroline Robert's next book!
A fun, heartwarming story with a great cast of characters that kept me interested from beginning to end. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
Another fantastic book from a Caroline. Have yet to read one of hers I don’t like. Great summer read with plenty of smiles and fantastic characters
Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT! The first book was fabulous and this one just got better and better. The characters are wonderful and I need to know what happens to them next!
Pretty please write another one! Or maybe from another characters point of view - I'd personally love to hear one from the landlords POV to see what makes him such a grumpy mean man! There's gotta be something tragic in his past right - or is he just a jerk?!
I really enjoyed the Cosy Christmas Chocolate Shop book and I enjoyed this one as well. It was great to read more about Emma and her friends. This is a beautifully written easy read.
Thank you to Netgalley for my copy.
This is me after reading The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop :))
This was a pure delight to read. This and the first book in the series are my favorite chic-lit books ever. Reading this will put you in a happy place. The perfect beach and Summer holiday read. What could be better than reading about a fun yummy, scrummy chocolate shop,an adorable small, well behaved dog and a gentlemanly, handsome man. I loved reading about Emma's chocolate shop in the first book and this is the perfect continuation of that book. Same delightful town folks, gorgeous town by the sea, friendly willing to lend a hand neighbors and the best part the chocolate in the shop. Em has more flavors than ever and with hosting parties at her shop and an outdoor patio and courtyard to serve customers what could possibly go wrong? Sadly it does go wrong, from a misunderstanding with her boyfriend who thought he had a forever with her to the slimy landlord who wants to sell off the shop she can't afford to buy. Devastated is putting it mildly with how she feels. It's not just her whole life being disrupted since she lives above the chocolate shop and doesn't know how she'll find a new shop and home but to go through this uncertainty with a fresh breakup is pretty rough. I loved how her friends all rallied around her in her time of need. Is that it for her chocolate shop and her love life? I suggest you read this feel good book and find out.

I received a copy of this book from Harper Impulse and Killer Reads through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
I love this author’s books so I was delighted to see that she had a new book out and I couldn’t wait to dive right in when it landed on my Kindle!
I loved everything about this book, the setting was brilliant, I loved the characters and the plot line was brilliant – but it did want to make me eat chocolate, a lot of chocolate! It is the kind of book that you start reading and before you know it you are over half way through and have got completely wrapped up in the story.
This has been without a doubt a highlight of the summer holiday season for me and I cannot wait to see what she releases next. This was simply a delight to read and the writing style is superb!
An absolutely fantastic story, loved every page – 5 stars from me!!
The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop was a lovely easy book to read while relaxing on holiday.
Full of great characters and plenty of references to chocolate... yum.
Thank you for providing me with a copy of this book. Perfect summer's read! Yes, it is slightly predictable, but it was a great tale and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Felt like I was at the seaside, and living in the community. Great read, will look out for more from the author
The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop is an easy read that will make you smile throughout. Emma has been running her Chocolate Shop and cafe for several years after coming to Warkton-on-Sea after the death of her fiancé. She has made some wonderful friends, and built a successful business and even started a new relationship with the gorgeous Max. Her stability is threatened by her slimy landlord who has plans that he won't tell her, a new sweet shop opening on the sea front and the appearance of dead fiancé's younger brother.
This book is about friendship and how life can change in an instant. The characters in this book are wonderful, there is a real community spirit in the village that pulls together when one of their community needs them. Emma is loveable heroine, she has been through some tough times but has worked hard to start again and build her own business, The Chocolate Shop; be prepared for eating a lot more chocolate than usual as the creationist the book really make your mouth water and recipes are included at the back. Emma has also decided to open her heart to love again with Max but with a temporary long distance relationship and the appearance of her ex fiancé's brother, Nate, cracks start to appear. I admire Emma's strength and tenacity, always trying to stay positive even in the face of adversity.
I loved the setting of the North East in this book as it is where I live and know all the locations. Caroline Robert's certainly did justice to our wonderful coastline, our beautiful castles and sublime landscapes, and our fishing and costal communities. There is a lot of action packed into the four hundred pages, from Emma's shop and personal problems to her assistant Holly's imminent leaving for university to Mrs Clark and her fall; it certainly grabs your attention and keeps it throughout.
The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop is a wonderfully heartwarming and charming read, with a beautiful setting and engaging characters. There is a previous book, but it can be read as a stand alone which is how I read it. There is no doubt that this book will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy, and wanting more chocolate; a scrumptious read.
