Love has seemed to be the central theme in many of the books that I have read recently. Joyce encourages us to make love the central theme in our lives. She gives wonderful reminders of the importance love plays in our lives.
I'm glad to have been allowed the chance to read this title in exchange for my review.
I love everything that Joyce Meyer writes. She has such a wonderful way with words. I really enjoy reading her stuff and highly recommend it.
Once again, Joyce Meyer has delivered a book that has meaning to our everyday lives. Her practical advice with sound biblical principles was very helpful. I enjoyed the way she injected her own personal stories throughout the book, letting the reader empathize with her concerning her own struggles. The book did help me look at life with a more enjoyable outlook.
This was an encouraging and helpful book. It reminds you of his important love is. Not just to try to find that perfect guy or girl to call in love with, but to actually make sure you accept and love yourself! You have to do that before you can truly accept others love. It takes some time and work on your part, but with God's help and Joyce's advice in this book it can be done. I highly recommend this book!
Another wonderful book by Joyce Meyer.
Simply boils down to Love. If we don't love our life then we can do something to change it.
Love God, Love Yourself and Love Others. If we all followed this straightforward advice imagine what a kinder world we would live in.
No groundbreaking advice in the pages of this book. But, it's timely and much needed. Most of the time its the simple truth that we need to be reminded of over and over for it to sink it.
I always snatch up a book by Joyce Meyer, any chance that I get. She has such a down-to-earth way of reaching into the heart of the matter and speaking truth into it. This book was just what I needed at this time in my life; some much needed wisdom, and some straight-talking Biblical Truth.
What a great book! Joyce Meyer begins by asking the question, “What do you really love.” Then she goes on to explain in engaging detail: 1.) why love should be the central theme in your life; 2.) the importance of future joy; 3.) how your attitude affects aspects of your present and future; and 4.) that the love and kindness you give to the world comes back in ways you would not have ever thought possible.
The central theme throughout orbits the concept of shifting your perspective to Christ, loving yourself and loving others so that you can truly enjoy every aspect of your life. The chapters are easy to follow; and the tone of the book is uplifting (not preachy). After reading Living a Life you Love, I felt light and full of joy.
Quoted in the beginning of the book:
“Be so busy loving your life that you have no time for hate, fear, or regret.” (Unknown Author).
Joyce Meyer definitely illuminates why this statement is powerful throughout this read.
I received an advanced review copy (ARC) of this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
I have a very deep appreciation for the many wonderful, insightful books by Joyce Meyer. It often seems as if God brings people like her, who have suffered through abuse and other problems, through difficult experiences so they can help others find their way to Him. I know there are still those who feel females shouldn’t be teaching the word of God. When I was first told that by someone, I researched that thought thoroughly and found clarification and reassurance through some writings of A B Simpson that put that idea away from me once and for all.
I’ve always gained so much by reading Joyce’s books, and this one came at a time when I felt that I’d been living a life of just going through the everyday motions; I’ve been searching for more than this. I appreciated the reminders from Joyce of all the things in life to be grateful for. I often read a chapter a day from her books because there is so much to absorb that I reading them straight through causes me to lose some of the helpfulness. I’d rather have more time to think about each bit of wisdom.
Thank you Joyce and Faithwords for this outstanding book that is definitely worthy of 5 stars.
Absolutely LOVE Joyce Meyers!! Her books and her message always hits home!! This book offers a great application to change your life and to start living the life you love and deserve! A life full happiness, love and joy!! More importantly a life you LOVE living!!
I really love Joyce Meyer's advice when I read her book I feel like she talking to me one on one and I feel her sincere words
Mama Joyce will tell you like it is and she won’t hold back.
This is a practical book with sound advice that is easily applied to our lives.
One big thing that stuck out to me was using the word hate. Like I hate this hot weather. We really need to eliminate that work from our vocabulary. We can state a fact, like it’s so hot but using the word hate so much is really not good for us.
Of course, Joyce had much more advice in her book and ideas on how to better love your life. I plan on implementing many of them and start enjoying life again, somehow I have gotten away from truly enjoying everyday and looking for God in every moment.
A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.
Christian minister and bestselling author, Joyce Meyer, is once again bringing God’s word to everyone in her new book, Living a Life You Love. This new addition to her twenty-five plus list of titles tells about applying God’s word to our everyday lives. In Living a Life You Love, Joyce talks about the Christian principles and biblical scriptures in this book that will make every reader declare by the end that they love the life that God has given them. She offers the reader suggestions to loving life, for example, “speak love language, not hate language", " when you realize God is in control it takes the pressure off" and "you can only live in the present.” These and many other words of wisdom and encouragement make this book an excellent choice for any reader, even if you don’t think you need it.
Living a Life You Love by Joyce Meyer is available from Faithwords. An egalley of this book was made available by the publisher in exchange for a honest review.
I like Joyce Meyer and her common sense approach to Christianity. In this book, she basically reminds the reader to Love God, Love yourself, and Love others. The chapters are easy to read, peppered with related anecdotes, and concluded with reminder bullet points. An easy read but nothing new.

Beautiful book that will guide you in living the life you love. There are many different ways to accomplish this and this book will help you if you let it. She speaks how allowing God in our life can open up many doors that may have been closed. What a wonderful thought and feeling!!! It made me think of the saying, "Let Go and Let God". Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

I am reviewing a copy of Living A Life You Love through FaithWords and Netgalley:
In this book Joyce Meyer reminds us that it is only when you submit your plan to God that you can truly love life. We are reminded that when you realize God is in control, it takes all the pressure off. Meyer points out too that learning to love your life is a Biblical principal.
We are reminded too to be amazed by the goodness of God! We are reminded to of the important end of obeying in the moment, and that we need to Love in the moment. We are reminded too to enjoy the moments we are given.
Meyer reminds us too that we can't love our lives until we decide to be a strong, confident, courageous person, and that focusing on God's promises is the best way to overcome fear.
In Living a Life You Love Joyce Meyer describes Grace as the power of God that enables us to do with ease that which we could not do alone. The author points out too that when we need help all we have to do is trust God and ask for his help. Even the hard things that we need help with can be done with ease when we turn to God for help.
Meyer reminds us too that we were not called to be victims our whole lives, no one was, the Lord has a better plan for us than that! No matter how deep the pit, it is never to deep for the good Lord to get us out of it. The author points out too that what we see as a dead end, God may see as a new beginning! The author points out too that the hope that sustains is the hope that is rooted in the Word of God, and his promises in our lives.
It is important that we as Christians count our blessings. Meyer points out too that the little blessings in life can make for great days. It is pointed out too that the idea of counting our blessings isn't so we can stockpile the benefits. The author points out too that we already have right standing with God because Jesus has already paid for our sins. We are reminded too that we are beautiful, whole, complete and accepted in Christ. It is pointed out too that we all need a break from time to time.
We are reminded too that a Good mood is not automatic we must choose it daily. We are reminded too of the importance of developing an attitude of total obedience to God, because it is then that we find his perfect will. We are reminded too that the good Lord wants us to live a life of hops because we can find joy there.
Meyer points out too that we shouldn't be so busy making a living that you forget to make a life that is filled with memories.
The author goes on to point out that the Lord wants us to have joy in every season of our life. We are reminded too that we can't be so afraid of doing the wrong thing that we don't do anything . It is pointed out too that a happy life requires happy and hope filled thoughts.
It is important that we remember too that the Holy Spirit is always available to steer us through life. It is pointed out too that when we are transformed we are changed from the inside and out.
We are reminded too that every new day in Christ is a new opportunity for something incredible to happen.
We are reminded too that God wants us to be comfortable being ourselves.
Joyce Meyer goes on to point out that loving others is the primary ingredient to living a life that we love. We are reminded too that Love is more than just words it's actions as well. We are reminded too that in order to love our lives we must love God's Word.
I give Living A Life You Love five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
Joyce Meyer never disappoints. Great book full of inspiration, advice, and love. Highly recommended.
Inspiring words and biblical teachings.love reading books by Joyce. Another wonderful book by Joyce Meyer.
This book is a powerful tool to help get our mindsets and our viewpoints back on track. It’s super easy to veer sideways on any given day because of the life stuff that is always popping up in our path. But when we know what to do with that and how to look at life from a place of victory, we find ourselves living a life we truly love.
