I can’t believe I’m saying this but this is a bit of a love triangle that I actually enjoyed. I’m usually not a fan of them. So this was a very pleasant surprise.

I swooned. I laughed. I plotted. Yes, I plotted. At first I didn’t know who I was rooting for but, after the first few chapters, I had a plan in my head and I just kept hoping that Rachel knew and went along with it. She did.

This is a spin off of The Wingman series. So it has the same feel, including a few sweet and sassy moments. The banter and texts has me grinning like a fool. I was smitten with these guys. They were good and funny and I wish I knew them in real life.

I am looking forward to the next book. Should be equally as fun.

I have yet to read a Rachel Van Dyken book that I have not loved. This one was no exception. This book was a great read and I highly recommend this book and all her books to anyone who love a great read!

I don’t know why I waited so long to read this story but I’m so happy to have read it. I love the three persons point of view and that the ending wasn’t so obvious. It’s a perfect love story with just the right amount of laughs.

Sweet and sexy romance with a touch of comedy.
I’ve been a big fan of Rachel Van Dyken for a while now and Dirty Exes has just placed in my top ten. I haven’t read a book quite like this one before. Yes, I’ve read love triangles and cheating books, but this wasn’t really in either of those categories, even though those things do kinda happen. Just not how you think.
Blaire runs a very successful PI business that caters to wealthy clients, most notably celebrities, with her best friend and fellow divorcee, Isla. This is how Jessie and old fling from her past comes back into her life. From the first she’s sucked back into her infatuation and desire for him, but then she meets, Jessie’s best friend Colin and the lines begin to blur.
At the start of the story, I vacillated between who I thought Blaire would end up with, because I honestly loved both Colin and Jessie, but as the story played out my mind kept going back to just one. I’m not going to tell you how though as that will give too much away.
Blaire, is a straight talking, sassy woman faced with the choice between two hot and sexy men. It’s a hard decision but thankfully, she made the right one. For me at least. Maybe others will feel differently, and that’s the thing about this book. It’s not as straightforward as it should be, each reader will take something different away from it.
I heartily recommend this story. Take a chance and grab your copy today.

What can I say that I haven't already about Rachel Van Dyken? There's probably not a lot. I love her work and really can't get enough of it, and Dirty Exes was no exception.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book, but it hooked me from the first page. It was a light-hearted and humorous read that was the perfect break from the stresses of exams. It made me smile, was a little silly, and had some hot moments.

I'm also glad the characters ended up with who they did. For a moment I thought they might end up in different couples, which I wouldn't have enjoyed so much. But they didn't. Blaire and her guy were a good match. They bounced off each other and worked.

Overall, another enjoyable read from this author.

I love the premise...I love the witty, sassy determination and sheer ‘if it can happen it will’ to Blair. Rachel has a real gift for making it hard for me to choose between the two men...holy crap....I lean one way then a chapter later I’m rooting for the other with no clue how the hell our leading is going to choose cause I sure can’t.

You get two men to love, a woman to throw dagger eyes at and lots of snorting laughter. High angst and a pretty great read!

I have to be honest, when it comes to books by Rachel Van Dyken, they can be hit or miss for me. This one was a miss. I even hate myself for typing that!!

Here’s the deal… I loved the characters. But the concept of this book just didn’t jive for me for some reason.

The other thing, that is totally on me, is that I was not in the mood for a rom com. So, not knowing in advance that this was a rom com, that alone threw me off.

This is one book that I am going to have to circle back to when I am in the mood for a good laugh. Rachel’s sense of humor is unlike any other author’s humor that I have read. When I am in a rom com mood, Rachel Van Dyken is my go to HANDS DOWN!!

* Note: Because of the 3 star rating, I will not be posting my thoughts on our blogs social media or on any selling sites as I do not think that it would be fair to Rachel's work.

I found the story rather funny. I loved the relationship between Colin and Blaire. The only thing I wish was not in the story was the focus of Jessie and Isla. I understand Jessie's part and Isla's individually, and I just wish stayed fully on Colin and Blaire instead of showing a hint of the next relationship when I selfishly just want to read about Colin and Blaire. That's probably just me though.

This was such a fun book and not what I expected. I loved this book and this author. Rachel Van Dyken is a must read author for me.

Blaire found herself in a life changing position when she caught her husband cheating on her with her best friend. She meets another woman that same night who had been cheated on as well. Blaire and Isla form a PI firm and help women uncover the truth about who they’re with. The situations Blaire finds herself in had me laughing. She is a fun, smart character that I loved.

This book has a lot of humor as well as steam in it. I loved the story line and banter between the characters. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

This was a smart, page-turner, entertaining read. The book was so captivating that I finished it within a day. I love the dialogue between the characters, it was entertaining.

The book is well written. If you looking for a good, fun, romantic read I recommend this book.

I love van Dyken's work but I didn't sadly gel with this tale. It felt that the hero swapped mid point (which I preferred) but it made for a weirdly disjointed read. I didn't love the investigative aspect of it as I didn't buy into the rationalisation of sticking with the case. I will still read #2.

I am so excited about this series. This was such a great start. I absolutely can't wait to read more. This book was sexy and funny and so sweet. I loved every minute of reading this story. The storyline was fresh and unique and I fell hard for the characters in the story. I can't wait to see what Rachel Van Dyken will come up with next.

This women always leaves me with a smile on my face and a happy squishy feeling in my heart. This book is no different. Blaire and her friend Isla own a PI agency where they catch cheaters in action enter Jessie the boy who got away and is Blaires "what if" of her life. But a complication arises when Blaire meets Colin the sexy sweet funny cocky Tarzan who happens to Jessies best friend. So Blaire needs to stalk Jessie to find out if he's cheating. And I'm the meantime Colin playboy millionaire begins to persue Blaire. What a crazy love triangle! Who will Blaire fall for her ex what if, or sweet sexy Tarzan boy?!

4.5 Stars

Blaire has a successful P.I. service with her friend Isla. They met each other on the same night they both found out their significant others were cheating. This started their business, Dirty Exes. Not only do they catch cheaters (both men and women), but they out them on Facebook Live. They've never made a mistake and pride themselves on helping people.

But when a client brings Blaire in the orbit of the one who got away, former NFL quarterback, Jessie Beckett, she can't help but be confused about her feelings about the case and him. Everything is telling her that this is a second chance and that Jessie can't be as bad as his wife is telling her. But she has a job to do and she has to put her personal feelings aside.

Things start to get more confusing for Blaire when she is caught spying by the sexy, tattooed, man-bun, businessman, Colin and Jessie's best friend. Blaire doesn't understand her feeling for this guy and when she finds out that he's more intimately related to the situation than she thought, she is more confused than ever.

I really enjoyed this book/audiobook. Especially because it was from three POV's. That's very different. Also the people you think are going to be together are turned around. I loved it. I am kinda upset that I didn't wait for the second book to come out to read/listen to them back to back. I guess I will have to re-read this one when the second one comes out.

The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because it got a little slow at the very end. It was so funny and entertaining then dragged for a chapter or two. But I still loved.

Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Once again Rachel gives us a book full of fun-loving characters that you fall for the minute you meet them! Full of laughter and hijinks. Gotta love a PI who isn’t the best at her job and two hotties who keep her busy.

Dirty Exes is one of my all-time favorite books by RVD. It’s on my Must Read List for 2018 and will definitely make it to my Top Reads for the year.

Fun, sweet and totally swoony! I think I would love anything to do with Mr Ian Hunter (Matchmakers Playbook) So getting to know his sister, Blaire was a hoot! I haven’t laughed this hard throughout a novel in a long time. Laughing aside there were also raw real emotions, and broken hearts to prove it. I didn’t realize this was a “sports” book bc the Hero, if you will, is a football superstar and also Blaires ex! She’s a woman on a mission as her PI form hisbhired to investigate his cheating ways. This was a quick read and another RVD success, so bummed we don’t get more until fall!

Usually I think of RVD's Wingmen Inc series as stupid simple romances where the snark-attitude-top dog personas for the dudes come off real clear. That series was sort of fun. I was thinking similarly with Liars Inc, but the first couple of sections were a toughie for me. I HATED Blaire and what she did for a living. Catching cheaters and being a PI -- no problem. Being pathetic and scarred after a divorce, putting oneself out for bait, propositioning oneself like a prostitute by baring chest and kissing on mouth a dude with ashtray lungs (ick, Isla): that says a lot about their low values. I had no respect for these gals. So how was I supposed to like them?

Things got better when Colin came on the scene. I was like, finally someone I think I could like.

But really, behind all this fluff, just really wish those early chapters were gone. I'm still revolted by them.

I loved this so much, I read it twice! I seriously need more in this series!
Only thing I need to say is the epilogue is confusing, It's supposed to be Colin's POV but it gets confusing when it randomly switches to Blair's POV on the last page in the middle of Colin talking/thinking from his... I don't think it was supposed to do that.

Dirty Exes is the first book in the Liars, Inc. series which is actually a spinoff from The Matchmaker's Playbook.  This is Blaire’s story (Ian's sister). I have not read The Matchmaker’s Playbook and had no issues following the story. With that being said….

I loved this book! It was funny and sexy with a side of drama! The prologue was hilarious! Blaire and Isla have been hurt by their cheating exes. They turn lemons into lemonade by starting Dirty Exes, a PI firm that goes after cheaters. They gather evidence and often times post it to Facebook live, humiliating the cheater. Although they are successful, they have anger and trust issues because they were cheated on.

"I was so focused on retribution, on not focusing on the past, that I was barely staying sane."

Things get interesting when they are hired by Veronica Beckett. She is married to ex-NFL player Jessie Beckett, Blaire’s first love. Jessie broke Blaire’s heart when he was traded by the NFL. He never asked her to come along. Brokenhearted, Blaire married a “safe” guy, who cheated on her. Blaire insists she can be professional and handle the situation with Jessie as a client. Jessie’s best friend, Colin, is an added piece of the puzzle, and nothing is what it seems! Is he friend or foe?

Rachel Van Dyken takes us on a wild ride! Husband’s, best friends, wives….cheater or not? The story takes a few turns that I did not expect. Perception versus reality. Fake versus real. Some really funny situations and some hot sexy time as well! There is also lots of banter between all of the characters. I was very surprised by the outcome.

“Let me make it up to you.”

“Sex won’t make this better.”

“Sex always makes things better, especially angry sex where I let you slap me.” He grinned."

"It was hard not to smile."

Next up…. Isla. Will Blaire’s tough-as-nails partner be able to move forward…..
