This one had me on the edge of my seat! Rachel Van Dyken never disappoints and Dirty Exes had all the things I love! Great banter, low angst, steam steam steam!!! This was a perfect summer read!

I'm not sure how she comes up with her story lines, but she sucks me in every time. Not only that, but to me, the story lines are original. I would definitely recommend this one to any reader.

DIRTY EXES is the first instalment in Rachel Van Dyken’s contemporary, adult LIARS, INC romance series- a spin off from the author’s WINGMEN, Inc series. This is PI Blaire Hunter, former NFL star Jessie Beckett, and wealthy hotel owner Colin Buchanon’s story line. Blaire is the sister of Ian Hunter (The Matchmaker’s Playbook).

Told from three, first person points of view (Blaire, Colin and Jessie) DIRTY EXES follows self-appointed PI Blaire Hunter, along with her business partner Isla, as they are tasked with uncovering cheating husbands and wives. Blaire knows the heartbreak of rejection, and the humiliation of finding your husband in bed with another woman. Commiserating together about their unfortunate choices in life, Blaire and Isla formed ‘Dirty Exes’ in an effort to expose liars and cheats. Their latest assignment brings Blaire face to face with the man who broke her heart years earlier, former NFL star Jessie Becket, whose wife has hired Dirty Exes in an effort to unmask the truth. DIRTY EXES is a fun, flirty and sexy story line. The one on one, back and forth banter between Blaire and Colin is priceless. From the outset, Colin is a man determined to seduce our story line heroine, and in this, we are unsure as to his intent knowing his best friend Jessie still has feelings for the woman with whom Colin will fall in love. DIRTY EXES is not a love triangle romance, in fact, Blaire keeps her distance from Jessie, as she is tasked with uncovering the truth about the man she once thought she loved. Appearances can be deceiving; Jessie’s wife Vanessa is a piece of work, and her ‘love’ for her husband runs only skin deep.

The relationship between Colin and Blaire begins accidentally. Blaire is a bit of a klutz, and constantly finds herself in embarrassing situations including cowering on the floor, and locking herself in a superstar’s food pantry. Colin’s slow seduction of Blaire is rife with humorous sexual innuendo, fun texting, and the honest truth. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The world building follows the start-up and ongoing business between two friends whose lives were destroyed on the same night, years before. Betrayal is ugly; revenge is sweet. The premise is spirited and lively; the characters are colorful, fun, and sweet; the romance is exquisite and captivating. DIRTY EXES is a light hearted, enjoyable and playful story line.

Dirty Exes is the first book in the Lairs series by Rachel Van Dyken. This was funny, intriguing and swoon-worthy multi-viewpoint story. Blaire is co-owner of Dirty Exes PI, a company devoted to catching cheating partners. Blaire’s next client’s cheating husband is her ex; retire NFL star Jessie Beckett, who she still fantasizes about. But what will happen when Jessie’s best friend Colin starts helping Blaire and sparks start flying between them?

I wasn’t sure where this triangle was going at first, but halfway through I couldn’t wait to find out. Blaire and Colin were perfect for each other and boy did they bring steam to my kindle. All the shenanigans and sneaking around with Blaire and Colin was kind of hot and enjoyable to read.

But I think Ilsa, the other co-owner of Dirty Exes stole the scenes every time. Ilsa one-liners and following Jessie around was hilarious and I can’t wait for Dangerous Exes.

Rachel does it again, another wonderful book! You have one broken hearted women working as a PI to help catch cheaters, and two very handsome sexy men, both very different.
Blaire owns a PI business with her best friend. They started the company after they were both cheated on and wanted to help others. One day she runs into Jessie Beckett her ex boyfriend, the one who she compares other guys to.
Jessie Beckett Ex-NFL quarterback and also her client. He was he first love and she still always wonders what if. Than you have Jessie’s best friend Colin. Blaire accidentally runs into and meets Colin while investing Jessie. Colin is a sexy bad boy who happens to be very wealthy. He also seems to get under Blaire skin at first.
I loved watch this story unfold. For a good portion of the story I did not know which guy Blaire would end up with or which one I even wanted her to. Than I was trying to figure out if Jessie really was a cheater after all, he didn’t really seem like one, but some of his actions were definitely questionable. And Colin he just wanted Blaire to agree to go out with him. The dynamics of the characters is absolutely great. And the storyline had me wondering, had me laughing and smiling, and even getting a bit mad. There were so many scenes in the book that I absolutely adore. This is a book I will definitely be going back and reading it again. I was sad to see it end, but Loved the way it ended as well!!

Fun, flirty, and fantastic! Dirty Exes by Rachel Van Dyken gives us sexy guys, both from Blaire’s past and her present. Blaire is Ian Hunter’s sister, although he has only a minor part in this book.

As for Blair herself, she sure knows how to get herself into a pickle and her side-kick Isla adds a bit of comic relief. I like their girlfriend bond and the interesting way that they go about their business and friendship.

The chemistry between Colin and Blaire is explosive, but where does Jessie fit in this equation? It’s so much fun to read their story, including the down and dirty PI moments. Rachel Van Dyken has created another must-read in her arsenal of romance novels and Dirty Exes gives us another book boyfriend that is totally worth drooling over.

Originally written as a screenplay, this book flows seamlessly from one scene to the next. I enjoyed the push and pull of the characters, the witty banter, and flowing dialogue, and don’t forget about the sweetness of the hero in this story.

All-around great Summer read, sweet, sexy, and perfect for a lazy day at the beach.

I can say I absolutely loved this book of course I love all of Rachel’s books but this one was hilarious, with Blair and Islas antics Collins sexiness yum! I went into this thinking it was a second chance book I’m so glad I was wrong! Collin and Blair’s attraction was not missed. From the start Collin just oozed sex appeal while I get Blair’s history with Jessie made her doubt herself sometimes the past needs to stay in the past. New love and excitement sometimes is the better pick and this book has it.

I went into this book not knowing the synopsis. I read it when months ago so I forgot a lot. I didn’t know we’d have to pick between the hot, sexy ex-quarterback Jessie and the hot bartender/therapist.

Blaire and Isla are awesome! I love them!!

Blaire has been hurt in the past and has made it her mission to never get involved with another man. They are all evil, conniving, lying a**holes.

Though when Jessie comes back into her life she can’t help the what if’s from coming up. He was the one that got away. Can she trust him though?

Jessie has his own demons he’s battling. Can he prove he’s not what everyone thinks? Or is he really good at hiding things?

Colin is your typical manwhore. A different woman or two every night. Though when he sees Blaire for the first time he knows she’s different. But that she has a connection with his best friend Jessie. Will he be able to prove to Blaire that he can be a one woman man? Or will he prove that all men are the same and can’t be with just one woman?

This book was really good and I cannot wait to read Isla’s story!!

"Hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned..."

That quote is really quite fitting for this novel. Dirty Exes by Rachel Van Dyken was a quick, fun, and sexy read. A story of two best friends who form Dirty Exes, Inc. a business that uncovers the cheaters of the world!

Blaire hasn't had the best of luck in the romance department. First, "the one that got away" chooses his career over her. Then, when she thinks she's found love once again, her husband cheats on her with her quote best friend unquote 🙊. You can say that Blaire is a bit jaded now. But life has other plans for her.

Jessie Beckett is an ex-NFL player and he literally runs into the girl he let get away. With Jessie in an unhappy marriage, he has baggage of his own and seeing Blaire again has brought life back into his soul.

...But things soon get a bit tangled. Blaire never thought she would be investigating her former flame and to top it all off in comes Colin, Jessie's best friend, and the guy who ends up helping her 🙊. You can imagine where this is going. A love triangle of sorts is formed, but don't be fooled. There will be one man standing at the end.

Dirty Exes was entertaining and had me laughing from page one! Though I found myself a bit annoyed with the mixed emotions, they were understandable and I was happy with the outcome at the end. This was my third book by Rachel and I cannot wait to continue to read more of her stories! 💃

This is the hardest review to write because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. I felt MANY things while reading this book. At first I was really digging it, laughing, thinking this is awesome. Then I was feeling really bad for Blaire, but still enjoying it. As I continued to read I was shaking my head saying “NO” thinking I’m not sure if I’m enjoying this as much as I was, but I’m no quitter, so on I went. Then I was LOVING it! Rachel is brilliant! I’m not sure why I ever had a doubt, because honestly I’ve never read a book of hers that I haven’t liked. I was worried this could be the first, but it was great. I’m honestly so happy I never gave up hope and am really excited for the next.

What a surprisingly different and entertaining book this was.

OMG, if you read this story and you don't come out at the end with a huge smile on your face, then something is wrong. I giggled, I commiserated, I sighed, swooned and got a bit heated under the collar...especially in a certain part...yup...Oh my indeed. Rachel certainly aims to please in this romance, the characters were brilliant as were the way they behaved, the way it ended...I loved it. The overall feel of the story was just that...it made me FEEL, comfortable...happy and I sighed when it was all over. Well played!!! Get it on your ereader or in your hands now!!

This hilarious emotional book was a great treat to my New Adult list! Rachel van Dykan has climbed up to my top list quite fast and she is also one of my auto-buy authors!

Blaire is a PI, and one who is a badass too! Her job is to find out the cheating husbands prove their cheating in...a live Facebook feed. Seeing her ex, Jessie, again as a client wouldn't be as hard if it weren't for Colin, the sexy, funny and filthy rich hotel owner.

From there we dive into a spiral of texts, hiding spots, many hilarious moments and lots of emotional scenes. You'll love this book! It's amazing and not easy to forget!

Blaire is a woman who has a lot of heartache; first, her college boyfriend got traded and didn't ask her to go with him. Then, after two years of marriage, she finds her husband in bed with her best friend. While drowning her sorrows, she witnesses another woman getting dumped; thus begins the Dirty Exes P.I. business. Catching men who are cheating is what makes her happy, until Jessie (the one who got away) becomes a target.
Jessie is in a sticky situation. He is separated, with a lot of unanswered questions about why he keeps his estranged wife do close by. As the information is revealed, I felt horrible for Jessie, and hatred his wife. Is he really cheating on his wife? What exactly happened to make Jessie want a divorce? Will he get Blaire to give him a second chance, if that is what he truly wants.
Colin is Jessie's best friend, but also his brother-in-law. When he meets Blaire he becomes her helper. If Jessie is cheating, he wants it found out, even though he feels like he is betraying his best friend. As they work together to find info on Jessie, he starts falling for Blaire. Will Blaire give Colin a chance or hold out hope for a second chance with Jessie?
I really hope there is another book in this series. I need to find out what happens with the other characters in the book. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

I know I have said it before but I really love this author. She’s one that I can preorder from and buy just because her name is attached. I trust her writing completely.

This is a spin off series from the Wingmen INC. series and holy cow she is one of the busiest authors I have ever read. Every time I turn around she has a new book coming out. If you are worried that she is unable to come up with anything new and original then there is no reason to be. Everything is refreshing and not just another rom/com book.

On to this book. This was a fun, funny, and has totally swoon worthy characters. Blaire is adorable, super funny and the banter between her and the other characters (especially Colin) is hilarious. She is co owner of Dirty Exes, a PI firm that exposes cheating spouses. After finding her own husband in a compromising position she decided to take revenge out on all cheating spouses and expose them for the cheats they are. One of the cases that her firm takes on is to expose her old boyfriend, the one who got away. The one she still dreams of. The one she would drop everything for. What she doesn’t expect is to be helped by her exes best friend, Colin.

I have to say that the ending was very surprising. What I thought would happen throughout most of the book took a different turn. It’s even better than I thought it would be.

If you are looking for a super fun summer book to read I would definitely recommend this book.

Blaire is co owner of a PI Firm "Dirty Exes" that specializes in exposing Cheaters. Things get a little complicated when her newest case is an old boyfriend, the one that got away. His best friend Colin agrees to help her investigate and before she knows it she finds herself attracted to both men. No spoiler here, but this is a great book with lots of funny scenes. The characters are well developed and likeable and the story is very entertaining. You will love this book.

Dirty Exes will have you smiling, laughing and possibly wanting to be stuck in a the middle of a very hot, very delicious looking man sandwich.

In this we have Blaire who is in the business of exposing cheaters having been a victim of one herself. Except this time the man she's been hired to expose, Jessie Beckett. is essentially the one that got away. Throw in his hot best friend Colin and what you have is a complicated yet very seductive and enticing hot mess?

Rachel Van Dyken's writing will suck you in and have you giggling with some of the scenes in this book. I honestly flip flopped a bit between Jessie and Colin. At one point honestly thinking ahhh just give me both. Yes I am greedy but couldn't be helped since RVD always writes the men that you can't help but fall for even if they sometimes do questionable things is. LOL.

I'm a huge fan of this series already and I absolutely can't wait for the next one. This is the perfect summer read.

This was fantastic! It's slightly different than normal Rachel but still the same funny writing that gives you all the feels!!! Rachel is amazing at sucking you in and making you want to keep reading. This book was written in a different form but easy to follow and makes you love it more!

Dirty Exes by Rachel Van Dyken. I've read past books by this author and have enjoyed them. Where I still enjoyed this book it wasn't a favorite. I liked the characters and dialogue. I still look forward to reading more books by this author.

Dirty Exes is the first book in the Liars, Inc. series. While some of the characters from the Wingmen, Inc. series have cameos, I didn't feel like I had to read those to understand these but I will absolutely put those on my list to be read soon. Blaire owns Dirty Exes with her best friend Isla and dedicates herself to getting dirt and humiliating cheaters and their bad behavior. She of course has reasons for this. Jessie is "the one who got away" for Blaire. A new client, however, will bring her face to face with the man and doing this particular job may get a bit hairy for her but she is dedicated to seeing justice done, no matter who it is. What she never saw coming was his sexy best friend Colin. What happens has you laughing, sighing and swooning. I really loved this story and look forward to the second book. Super sexy and funny read.

This is another great read from Rachel Van Dyken. If you’ve read Wingmen INC, then you already know who Blair is. She’s Ian’s sister and part of the reason he started Wingmen.

I loved the characters in this story. Well, everyone except Vanessa. She’s the devil. I swear. I wish Blair and Isla would have beat her! Or Rachel can do a re-write to write me in and I’ll do it!

Colin, AKA “basement dweller” is an amazing guy.

Jessie is also.

Everyone is just stuck in a hard spot because of lies and omissions, plus some manipulation. I felt for them all.

Jessie was a sucker though. He was being manipulated and he knew it, but it didn’t put a stop to it.

I love how everything worked out. I was cheering for Mr. man-bun the whole time!
