I loved it! It really surprised me to find 3 different points of view. But it was perfect! Sometimes the idea of the ideal that you have in your head is not the right one. You could just be wishing to go back to the lesser of your past evils or the only option that felt good in your past. Like Blaire and Jessie think. But the what ifs can prevent them from recognizing in their present someone even better. The chemistry she has with Colin is off the charts and worth testing. Situations get all jumbled up, secrets become bigger and more difficult to hide, Colin becomes persistent and Jessie feels desperate... it's all a big situation where communication is key and all of them are barely using it. I recommend this read, it just helps realize that you never know best. That maybe new and unknown is better.

I haven't met a Rachel Van Dyken book yet that I haven't liked, and that streak continues with Dirty Exes.
This is Ian from the Matchmaker's Playbooks little sister Blaire's story, and we do get a couple of glimpses of Ian in this story too.
What a great start to the Liars Inc story, and if this is what we can expect from the rest of the series, I am hooked.
Blaire is a little heartbroken and a lot p!ssed off - and as I read I couldn't blame her.
Jessie is her new target for her PI business, and whilst I know I am supposed to love him, ugh nope, it was always all about Colin for me. This may sound like a love triangle -or love square really with other people involved - but really it isn't.
There is a little bit of everything in this story. It is a great mix of laugh, drama, romance. Full of friendship, second chances, and dirty cheating liars.
I liked it so much I read it in one sitting.
This could well turn out to be a favourite series from Ms Van Dyken, and I can't wait to see what she brings us next.
** will be on blog during blog tour 8th June **

I love it when my favorite authors write a new series. Especially Rachel Van Dyken. Dirty Exes is the first book in the Liar's, Inc. series. And I feel like I could write this review just using quotes from the book. I was highlighting like a mad woman, giggling, sighing, cursing, swooning and making side eyes. Dirty Exes has two leading men and one heroine, but it's not really a love triangle. It's not cheating like you think. Just read it, trust me. Blaire is Ian's sister (swoon), and she and her best friend Isla, have both been cheated on and left broken, so they started a PI company called Dirty Exes. They catch cheating spouses. They are good at it. They feel happy when they help uncover the lying cheaters. Until their new client is Jessie Beckett. A man Blaire dated years ago. He was perfect for her. He's the one who got away. She always wondered 'what if' and compared every man to Jessie. She can still do her job, right? Even though she has feelings for the supposed cheater? Yes, and no. But a sexy as hell bartender, aka Jessie's best friend Colin, wants to help. There's a long history of friendship, but Colin wants to actually help Jessie. Being attracted to and wanting Blaire more than air wasn't in the cards. But he can't stop himself. He and his sexy abs, sweet mouth, the hair, oh God, the hair, and perfect…everything are going to convince Blaire to take a chance on him. But Jessie. Blaire still thinks she wants him even though he might be cheating. What's a girl to do? Take a chance on a new, fun, sexy man or try to see what she was missing with the old, sexy one? Jessie's kisses were what dreams were made of. Would it still be that way? Not gonna lie, this story gave me anxiety! I wanted to know what was going to happen. Who was that? What did they say? She did what? There was so much juicy stuff I could barely contain my emotions! I had a favorite from the very beginning and I might have sqeeeeeeed at the end! Rachel knows what she's doing guys. She's never let us down before! Overall, I loved every word. Colin is just everything. Blaire is fun and hopeful. Isla is the perfect best friend and Jessie is funny, sexy and needs more laughs in his life! I can't wait for Dangerous Exes!!
She's the type who would stay, I'd want her to stay. Because women like that were the ones you kept forever.
His kiss was more of a plunder, a hunt for treasure, a search-and-rescue mission with his tongue that made me beg to get lost gain so I could have another taste.
His face was innocent, his body wicked. He was epitome of every woman's fantasy. From his full, sinful lips to his rock-hard body.
"Blaire?"
"Yup?"
"Did you hear anything I just said? Should I give my ass and you a minute alone?"
YES! "No."

3.5 stars
Like so many books I went into this one completely blind. I hadn't read the blurb so I really didn't know what to expect. It had a curious start that made me wonder what this book was going to be about. That question was quickly answered and I was excited to see where she was going to take this story.
Blaire was an interesting character. I both liked and disliked her throughout the book. She went back and forth emotionally throughout the book that while informational began to bother me after awhile. Her interactions with both her bestfriend and Jessie's are where I liked her the most. She seemed more put together around them then she was when she was inside her own head. Jessie wasn't a character that I really connected with. He came off as kind of a pushover which I wasn't expecting and made it hard for me to like him.
I did really enjoy the storyline of this book. It wasn't something I'd read before so that really caught my attention and made me take notice. There were a lot of scenarios that I wasn't expecting, so the element of surprise in this book was strong and that's not something I often see in books. All and all it was a fun read but, not one that grabbed hold of me and never let go.

Things I Liked
Blaire and Isla they became best friends because they where both cheated on and then they both became PI's and that's how Dirty Exes was born. I love how Isla and Blaires brother always tell her how it is and really doesn't let her get away with anything.
Colin OMG he is funny and pretty much talk you into or out of anything. He and Jessie have been best friends since they where little. Colin and Blaire, there chemistry is pretty HOT.
Jessie is a retired NFL player he loves to do charity work he;s pretty much anybody's dream guy.
Things I Didn't Like
Vanessa, she is a very self center very ugly on the inside kind of person and her true reasons for hiring The Dirty Exes is very wrong and is just plain and simple a witch.
This book wasn't my favorite of Rachel Van Dyken's books. The Bet series and the Eagle Elite series will always be my favorites from her.

Dirty Exes is the first book in the Liars, Inc. series by one of favorite authors, Rachel Van Dyken. If you follow my reviews then you might know that if I am not a fan of reading the synopsis if I have read the author’s books before. With that said, I had no idea what this book was about when I started it this morning. I do however always read the synopsis before I write my reviews so I don’t spoil anything. This one summed it up perfectly so I will make the summary short.
Blaire hates cheaters. She was married to one. She now exposes them with her best friend, Isla. The other half of Dirty Exes, their PI firm. Two creative women being the lying two-timers down. Men. Women. They found them. Nothing really surprised her anymore except her next target. Her ex. The one who she never forgot. The man who made her weak in the knees with his kiss. The one who she was falling for before he was traded. The one who didn’t ask her to go with him to the next city in his NFL career. But now...he was just a man who might be cheating on his wife. His perfectly styled, and beautiful actress wife. It was time to get her spy on, I mean, he means nothing to her so why not expose him? She would get her revenge and a nice paycheck out of it. What could go wrong?
Colin. That’s what could go wrong. He complicated things. She didn’t understand why Jessie’s best friend was even talking to her. He knew who she was. Kind of. Sort of. He was really into the spy games and she didn’t get it. Maybe he was bored. Maybe he liked teasing her about her spying ways. Either way...he was trouble and she was already in enough with it. But he did have information and good hair. Jessie was trying to catch up with her and she didn’t want to go there but it was all part of the job, right? Right.
Ok. That’s it. I will say that I didn’t think I would finish this book in one day, I mean it happens a lot but not on the weekends. No quiet for the mom and all but it happened. Thank God because I did not want to put the book down. I had to know what was going to happen next. Who was going to fall for who. Who was going to make me swoon next. Who was going to piss me off next. Who was going to get me hot and bothered next. I had to know. It was like a drug, I tell ya. I fell hard, you guys. For two men. Two fictional men. Two fictional men who are very different. Oh, man...you just have to read it to feel what I feel for this men.
Overall...I am a total book boyfriend whore. I want them both. They made me laugh, swoon, get hot and bothered, laugh so more, and swoon even harder. And I can’t forget about the ladies. Blaire is strong, sassy, silly, and loves her whiskey. Isla, well, she is totally kicks ass.
P.S. Trust RVD!
Quotes:
“To the Batmobile!”
His face was innocent, his body wicked.
“Your friend needs a muzzle.”
“Tried it once, he actually liked it, shocker.” Jessie winked, and then he made his way toward us.

Blair and her best friend, Isla have a formed a company called Dirty Exes to catch cheaters in the act. Both have been burned in the past and felt the need to help others in similar situations. What turns a satisfying job meant to help others into one comical mess after another is when their next client is the wife of Blair's ex-boyfriend.
Rachel Van Dyken brought us another fun and entertaining read! This story was a riot! I loved every shenanigan Blair got her self into. Colin completely stole the show for me. He was a total player but so charming that I didn't even care. Jesse was a hot mess and I wanted him to grow some kahunas. Isla was just as entertaining as Blair. Vanessa, oh Vanessa. For the evil villian of the story she sure did a great job. I wanted to punch her.
I'm really looking forward to Isla's book next. I can already tell it will be just as entertaining. ARC provided by NetGalley.

After being cheated on in their respective relationships, Blaire and Isla begin a PI business, Dirty Exes, where they catch cheaters in the act and live stream it on Facebook. Things get complicated for Blaire when runs into the man she feels is the one who got away and is sent to investigate him. Through several complicated situations i which Blaire receives help, she discovers she can trust and love again.

I absolutely loved this! It was fun, entertaining, and the right amount of sexy. Highly recommend and can’t wait for the sequel. Will definitely read more by this author.

What a great start to Rachel Van Dyken’s new series Liars,Inc and if this book is anything to go by she has another brilliant series on her hands.
Blair and her best friend Isla decide to start their own business and after Blair’s ex husband was caught cheating on her Liar’s Inc seems the perfect opportunity why not put into practice what you have learnt and catch cheating partners for a fee.
If you love a great read that has the perfect mix of drama and laughs you won’t want miss this book it is all about friendships, second chances and some very funny laugh out loud moments. The plot is unique and characters are fun and loveable, all in all a great read and I’m looking forward to book 2.

I absolutely loved this story. I was smiling and laughing throughout the book. At times I was on the edge of my seat rooting for Jessie, hoping he wasn't like the others.
Blaire and her best friend Isla have a business...they catch cheaters. Jessie becomes one that they have to catch, and while she's being spy girl(read the book and you'll know why I called that) she meets Colin,Jessie's best friend. They way they communicate with each other is hilarious. I loved Colin and his humor. Thats all I'm going to give you, you need to read the book to fill in the gaps I left.
Rachel Van Dyken does an incredible job telling this story and I loved the little update about Blake and Ian from her previous book The Matchmaker's Playbook.

It pains me,to say this, because I am a fan of Rachel Van Dyken in general, but Dirty Exes didn't work for me at all. Jessie was the only character I could stand. Blair was a bitter shrew and Colin was a selfish immature jerk. As a PI, and we are using that term loosely, because you have,to get a license which they never would have gotten, it's called research. You actually find, out who people are instead of assuming the worst of every man and believing every woman. Couldn't stomach any,of the characters or thier behavior, yet it was all wrapped up in about ten pages and it was all hunky dorey. Nope. Almost DNF numerous times, only powered through because it was a NetGalley request.

Blaire was hilarious in a true Van Dyken character can only be. I loved her obsession with licorice. Blaire is hired to prove that her one that got away is a cheater in hs marriage to his wife. Blaire and Jessie attraction is still there from all the years ago. While spying on Jessie, she meets his BFF Colin aka basement dweller. Blaire likes both men and they are vying for her affection.
Quirky dialogue that make you love the characters more, while Van Dyken puts them into hilarious it could happen situations makes for a great book. I can't wait for more in this series.

Dirty Exes (Liars, Inc., #1) by Rachel Van Dyken is a contemporary romance, romantic comedy. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it! Someone has to hold the liars and the cheaters accountable for their actions and who better than two women scorned? This is a hilarious spin off of Matchmaker's Playbook (Wingman, Inc.) featuring Ian's sister Blaire and NFL star Jessie Beckett. Jessie was everything Blaire ever wanted until he wasn't or couldn't be. He chose a career over her and that stung which caused Blaire to make a bad relationship decision. The PI firm that her and Isla formulated struck gold in exposing the "dirty exes" for what they were. Enter Colin. Anybody else secretly wish for his HEA? At any rate, this book is entertaining to say the least. Who wouldn't like a little revenge on an ex? I recommend this book especially if you'd like a little light reading just for fun. It reads well and is a stand alone.

Dirty Exes - Rachel Van Dyken
This is the first in the Liars Inc series.
Blair and her friend Isla decide to form Dirty Exes PI firm after Blaine’s husband cheats on her, sealing the fate of their marriage.
When Blair stumbles into her previous boyfriend, Jesse, an NFL player and probably the one who got away, she doesn’t realise just whats at stake, earning her firm the unenviable job of performing her PI work on Jesse and placing her squarely between Jesse and his best friend Colin.
With a few unexpected twist and plot turns, this was a fun read with well written characters and a story line that resonates.
Not going to be my last Rachel Van Dyken.

I will start out by saying I loved everything about this book. A book that made me laugh out loud at the ridiculous situations that Blaire got herself into along with her quirky friends.
After Blaire runs into "The one who got away" randomly she faves the fact that her feelings for Jessie never truly went away....then she meets his best friend Colin. She ends up really liking him too. Now she needs to choose who is the best one for her.
Another great book by RVD that left me wanting more.

When I heard about this new novel by Rachel Van Dyken, I was curious to find out what the author was going to propose to us. I liked the novels I read by her, so how to resist Dirty Exes?
Isla and Blaire both suffered atrociously when they were deceived by their half, so they had an idea: to create a private detective company solely dedicated to revealing cheating. But their new case will change the game. While Blaire is struggling to put aside her childhood love, the one who broke her heart, she faces him again when he becomes her new victim. The feelings come back and he seems very happy to have found her as well. Things get more complicated when the best friend of the latter, a notorious playboy, is determined to make her succumb as well. The advantage? He is not married!
I had a good time with this novel. We understand very quickly that the story of Jessie’s marriage is complicated, that it is not only what we see from outside, and we will discover the story gradually through the chapters. And Colin? Ah what about Colin? I admit that it was difficult for me to decide on him at first. As I said: notorious playboy and it’s quite difficult for Blaire who is not that kind of girl and yet he is intrigued, he wants to know what it could be, even if he knows full well that she has always feelings for his best friend. Besides, if he can trick her while helping her in her investigation, it’s perfect!
It was a nice read, we understand Blaire and her worries. She wants to hang on to a past, to a story that never really ended and yet she realizes that it’s not that simple. She will succeed here to understand what she really wants and to see if the past is still relevant or not.

So. Much. FUN!
I loved book 1 in this new spin-off series by RVD—a must read author to me.
Blaire is the sister of Ian from The Matchmakers Playbook and I just LOVED HER! The funny situations she would get herself into, her internal dialogue kept me smiling throughout. Blaire co-owns a PI firm and her and Isla make it their mission to uncover the men cheating on their women. (The opening scene OMG hysterical! lol) Blaire starts this company with her friend Isla because of circumstances in her own marriage and fighting the wrong and pain caused by extramarital affairs.
And it's all fun and games until Blaire's next case is to expose someone she used to know—her ex, retired NFL player Jessie Beckett who is married to the Queen of all bitches UGHHHH
I was a little conflicted when it came to Jessie because while they only had a three week relationship and he really didn't treat her great, I didn't understand why Blaire compared all men to him... though watching her come to terms with his treatment of her all the while trying to fend off the attentions of Jessie's best friend, basement dweller, snake tattoo, man bun Colin was really eye opening to both the reader and Blaire as she finally realized her worth, what she deserved and who would make her happy.
I was a little nervous that this would be a love triangle and while it was to some degree, there was always a clear winner in my book—a dream of a book boyfriend, someone sexy and charismatic and completely romantic in all the ways—I just LOVED HIM!
Will I tell you who or how it ends? Well, no! Because you should read this book yourself. But can I say I was completely elated with the ending... I had a huge smile on my face because everything that was meant to be happened...
I am very much looking forward to book 2 in this series. Another RVD hit!

I couldn’t help but smile while reading the Prologue and discovering just how much fun this was going to be to read! After finding her husband and best friend in bed together, Blaire forms Dirty Exes with a kindred spirit, catching and humiliating cheaters for other women.
Hilarious escapades catching cheating exes.✔️
Smart, funny and strong female characters. ✔️
Not one, but two hot men. ✔️
Too many laugh out loud moments to count. ✔️
I love how Rachel Van Dyken writes a story that tugs at the heartstrings but with a comedic twist, then adds a guessing game where there’s two amazing men and you have no idea who the female character is going to pick. Decisions, decisions...we should all be so lucky!

I absolutely loved this book. The characters were amazing and funny as hell. I loved all the comical situations that Blaire managed to get herself into. I really loved Colin and how is was not afraid to show what he was feeling and he was so funny. The story line was original and I can not wait for more.
