Take the Money and Run was such a good read!! I was hooked on KC's & Moriah's story from the very first page. I thought Jinx, Uncle Dan, & KC's 2 brothers were really interesting too & can't wait to read the next book in the Malone Brothers series
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
A good story. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline.
I thought it a little short, as it seemed to wrap up too quick and tidy and lacked some drama (while it's there, it just didn't morph into the pages for the reader to feel it).
I also really wish that authors who are writing about firearms use the correct terminology when referring to them.
Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author.. (netgalley) I must say I was shocked, I have never read this author before and I want to know why not. I fell in love with a new family The Malones, hot. his book was so enjoyable, entertaining and just fun. Grab a copy my friends. Enjoy!
This was my first book by Samantha A Cole, and I loved it. It had romance, suspense, lovable characters, and a happily ever after! I can’t wait fir the next book in the series!

Moriah is on the run and she finds a temporary refuge in a small Seaside town Whisper. With a made-up story, she is spending the days in small Cottage until KC interrupted her in the middle of the night. KC is a member of SEAL team and on the leave and he is surprised to find a woman in his uncle cottage. They make a deal and start spending time together. The attraction between them is strong and it doesn't take long until it explodes. But past is coming for Moriah and suddenly everyone's life is at stake but this time Moriah chances are better because she has a man who is preparing to die for her. I read a few similar story like this so it didn't much impress me. Characters were ok with intense attraction and chemistry between. It was ok interesting read.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
Overall the blurb pretty much delivers what it promises and I enjoyed the quick read. I didn’t connect very strongly with either character (Moriah because she cried, a lot! And KC because he stayed pretty one dimensional throughout). I did love KC’s Uncle Dan, a nosey, well meaning matchmaker. He lent a bit of humor and light heartedness to the story.
Take The Money and Run is the first book in the Malone Brothers series. KC is an army seal, and is on leave. Exhausted from the things he can't unsee, he least expects to find a woman pointing a gun at him. KC decides that she can stay with him not knowing the situation and the dangers ahead.
This was such a suspenseful gripping read, I was on the edge of my seat, hoping these two get the happy ending they deserve.
This is the first book that I've read by this author, and I found this to be an okay read overall. I liked the cast of characters and really enjoyed the suspense aspect of the story. I thought the romance was light in terms of chemistry; I just didn't feel much of the connection between Moriah and KC, even though I liked them both just fine. My biggest issue, however, was getting past the distracting grammatical errors, particularly the overuse of commas. I'm not sure what happened during the editing stage, but this book definitely needs a good proofread to clean up the numerous errors. The plot was enjoyable enough that I would give this author another try.
Take the Money and Run is a fast paced romantic suspense that will make you want more of the Malone Brothers.
This story uses several well worn devices to get these two together. KC Malone USN SEAL on leave. Moriah Jensen is on the run. Widower uncle playing matchmaker. But it works and is a fun escape.
This book is apparently a spin off from another series which I haven’t read but it didn’t seem to matter.
