We often hear about Bella Abzug, Betty Friedan, and Gloria Steinem; as inspirational as they are, it's nice to read about other Jewish feminists that maybe aren't quite as "household name."

While the beginning was more academic that I hoped for, the rest of the book is interesting, compelling and a must-read for anyone wanting to know more about the Jewish women that made history within the feminist movement and also for those among us that want to better our situation no matter the country we live in.
This is an extremely well written and thoroughly researched book on a subject that is dear to my heart. I have been fortunate enough to have met some of the women in the book and I both enjoyed meeting them again as well as learned a lot about the subject. Well done!
