I liked Rashid in the first book in this series. I found he was a wonderful hero. I loved how his character developed. Mila came to Dubai after college. She had been an exchange student in high school and loved the country. She was a wild child at heart and wanted to see the world. Rashid needed to get married to prove he has matured and can handle his business. While Mila isn't the best choice on the surface, she proves that she is the one to tame Rashid's heart.
I thought this was a great book. I enjoyed the setting and the characters. I can not wait for the next book.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
I received a complimentary arc from Netgallery for review.
This is book 2 in a series and I really felt it. I really could see I was missing some part of the story by not reading book 1. That said I did enjoy this story a lot. It didn't make a lot of sense but it was fun, sweet and romantic.
Rashid is our sheik, or the sheiks brother. He is a free spirit and after his latest hijinks his brother the sheik tells him to get married or else. He picks Mila because he thinks she is quiet. Mila is NOT quiet, she just is shy around the Sheik's wild brother. But when he proposes she turns him down and shows him just how fiery she can get.
Rashid is not one who has heard no before and so he chases MIla hard. I enjoyed this story a lot but the reasons behind choosing Mila and being so set on her made little sense. But it is a Sheik story so reality is not really that important. I did enjoy the characters and story.
This is book two in such a fantastic series by Leslie North. She always guarantees a fabulous story for you to enjoy and love each time she brings out a new book. This is one of them. I’m a super fan of this author and her books which is why every time she has a new book I have to get my hands on it. It’s like a fix for me lol that I have to read her books. Always a fantastic storyline, awesome characters and perfect romance that has you glued to your iPad and has you coming back for more. I read this in one sitting as it’s impossible to put down a Leslie North book. I would wholeheartedly Leslie North and all her books, so why don’t you go grab one today and get started on your library of her books.

He’ll agree to his brother’s outrageous demand that he marry, but it won’t be to some wallflower as his conservative family would prefer. When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book i couldn't put it down.Leslie is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of het books.Keep up the great work.
The second book in the Sharif Sheikhs Series, Mila and Rashid were independent characters and the story was enjoyable. I liked this book and look forward to reading more
This is the second story of the Sharif Sheikhs brothers. In this one we get to know the love story of Rashid and Mila. Mila is Liyah’s friend who first met 5 years ago when they came to Dubai as foreign exchange students. When Mila lost her father more than a year ago, she decided it was to follow upon the dream she had with her father to travel around the world and to do so she would need money and she thought the best place to gain money and start her travel was Dubai. Rashid finds himself in the middle of trouble when he tries to save his two best friends, but when a scandal breaks involving him his family is fed up and wants him to get married. Initially in order to get back to his brother Asad and to raise a middle finger to his parents, he decides to marry Mila who thinks is not so much different from what is expected. Things will change when bother will fell in love with each other, but they will have to persuade the other.
The author seems to repeat herself a lot though the course of events is different. However, I really enjoyed reading it in a lazy Saturday afternoon. I felt like travelling in the Arabic world and experiencing the wealth and lifestyle of a sheikh.
Ha, Rashid thought that Mila would be a tamed bride. She fooled him. The Sheikh's Tamed Bride, is another great addition to the Sheikh books that Leslie North writes.
