Have you ever got to the end of a book and yelled “NOOO” while smacking your palm to your forehead? I so did that with this story. As much as I hate cliffhangers I loved this one! Of course, this is to be expected when reading a trilogy by this author. Even though this series can be read as a standalone, Seth was introduced in the “Dirty Money” series and will give you a sneak peek at his character. This story is told in a series of flashbacks which helps us understand the relationship between Seth and Amanda and why Seth has become so cold. I love that the author has put this kind of twist to her story. Even though this story is a short story the author has given us the readers a whole lot of background. I look forward to reading what happens next in this series and seeing who really betrayed them all…

I wanted more of his story the whole time I was reading the Dirty Money series, and here he is!

We are taken on another sexy, mysterious rollercoaster of a ride with Seth and Amanda, a blast from his past - but is she a good blast?

They are fighting their way either to be together, or to kill each other, and as this first installment ends, we are still not sure which way things are going to go. They are both so stubborn and sure of what the know - but from what I have read so far, I feel someone has played them both - but I will have to read the next part to find out!

This is an adrenaline packed, suspenseful short, and we only have a week to find out what happens next! Bring it on!

Lisa Renee Jones does it again...she is the best at giving her readers fantastic characters set in a backdrop of thrills, action and intrigue. I am so happy Poison Kisses Part 1 does this and so much more.

We met Seth Craig in the Dirty Money series, the bodyguard and confidante of Shane Brandon, we know Seth as the badass who is beyond loyal and has dedicated his life protecting Shane and Emily. We don't know what happened in his past to make him such a loner, and of course it comes down to a women. A women who ripped him apart. Now he is being recruited by his former employer the CIA to hunt down Amanda the women how betrayed him and her country.

Told from Seth's POV we get a sense of his anger and hurt. Amanda and he were partners who fell in love years before and now she is back on the radar of some powerful people and he is being asked to take her out. There of course is more to the story and when Seth finally sees her things start moving quickly. Ms Jones takes her readers on a wild, fast paced ride something she does so incredibly well. This does end in a cliffhanger but the good news is that books 2 and 3 come out over the next few weeks so you don't have to wait long.

Seth's story was compelling and full of everything I loved in the Dirty Money Series. Lisa took is to another level and gave us exactly what we were hoping for with Seth. I can't wait to read more!

I don't know when Lisa Renee Jones decided that she should include scenes where the hero sleeps with another woman in her books, but I hope she won't do it again. For me, she is a safe author who so far hasn't disappointed me in this department. I don't understand why the book had to begin with Seth sleeping with another woman. It added nothing to the plot. It just made me hate the book.

The first part of the poison kisses books is told entirely from Seth's point of view and I wish we would see Amanda narrate some part of the second or third part. As I was expecting the ending is a cliffhanger, but not as heart-stopping as I am used to from the author. I also hope that these two will find out that someone is setting them up sooner rather than later and realize that they need to work together in order to catch the bad guy.

This novella wasn't the strongest way to begin this trilogy serial, but it wasn't bad. I am looking forward to the next two parts and I would recommend them.

This story starts off with a bang as you are thrown right into it with Seth. I loved him in the Dirty Money series so I am really excited to see him get his own books. Amanda is a spitfire and gives as good as she gets! Their banter right off the start is amazing and keeps you on your toes. Their passion is off the charts even though they want to kill each other! I am rather intrigued by this storyline as it pertains to Amanda and Seth getting his revenge so to speak.
The first novella started off with fast and intense moments that will keep you on your toes! Lets see what the second will bring!

Amanda Skye made me want her. She made me trust her. She made me love her. Then she betrayed me. And now, a madman brings us together again and before our battle with him is over, I will make sure that she never forgets my name: Seth Cage. Review:

First, lets get this out of the way, it is a three-part serial, which must be read in order to enjoy the full story. Lucky thing is they are coming out one week apart, so if that bothers you as a reader, one week is not that long to wait.

About the story...
So we get to meet Amanda and Seth, learn about their past and how their love affair went in the trash. What we don't know is who really is behind this all. This quick novella, really does have a lot going on. Besides meeting them, they are attacked, Seth is shot and the escape out of town all with a cat in a cat carrier...lol

I was hooked on these two and cannot wait to see what happens next. I just started reading part two and it is no less exciting so far.

Poison Kisses: Part One is the first in a trilogy of serial novellas featuring Seth Cage and is told via his point-of-view. We first meet Seth in the Dirty Money series as Shane Brandon’s right-hand man. He’s ex-CIA and a total badass. When a terrorist named Dr. Franklin Ross resurfaces and threatens the U.S., Seth is pulled back into action by the CIA. There is a catch though. In order to get to Dr. Ross he needs to work with someone from his past, someone he knows intimately and who showed him exactly what betrayal felt like.

Amanda Skye disappeared the night her CIA parents were murdered and Seth has been searching for her ever since. They share bad blood because of what went down that fateful night and Seth is willing to do what it takes to keep the U.S. safe, including killing the very person who once held his heart.

“We need to know that she lives to help us and dies before she helps him.”

Seth is known as the Assassin and he is good at what he does. Though this smoking hot killer doesn't usually get attached to people, he has a soft spot for Amanda. Once deeply in love, after everything that happened, they now feel like enemies. I felt Seth’s betrayal and conflicted emotions when he sees Amanda again. Even though he refuses to acknowledge his feelings, he still can’t move on from the affect she has on him making his job more complicated.

Amanda is an interesting woman. Smart, brave, fearless, and a badass in her own right, she is known as the Scientist to most but Poison Princess to Seth. She was raised in the CIA with a solid knowledge of chemicals and a background in medicine. She is familiar with the poisons that can end a life within seconds and I love her confidence, knowing she can deal with anything thrown her way.

Seth and Amanda are amazing together. They are the perfect match and both would die trying to protect the ones the love, including each other. They want to hate each other but can’t resist the pull. The banter and hostility between them make the sexual tension skyrocket and as the feelings from the past merge with the present ones, conflict and confusion filter in.

They have a complicated history and I was intrigued with what actually happened. I knew there would be more to the story than Seth realized. I loved the flash backs; they set the scene for the entire story and started things off with some intense emotion and excitement. I enjoyed getting bits and pieces of the story and the mystery and suspense was well developed. There were so many unanswered questions that I found myself desperate to know the truth.

As the book comes to an end, we get the reason for why Amanda disappeared and an understanding of why she feels the way she does. The cliffhanger leaves us with a tidbit of information that Seth wasn’t expecting and I am curious to see how things play out. Overall, it’s a great start to a trilogy and now that I’m invested in the story, I need more. I can’t wait to dive into Part Two!

Wow! This was an intense story with lots of twists and turns in a short first installment of Poison Kisses, and I loved it! I’m not usually a fan of short books, but this book reads like a full length book. Seth, the Assassin, is teamed up with Amanda, the Poison Princess, after three years of her being on the run. This is truly an intense story of two CIA agents who once loved each other, but now hate and don’t trust each other after an assignment gone wrong. Loved the storyline and characters, great chemistry and cannot wait for the next installment!

I’m always excited when Lisa Renee Jones has a new release! She’s definitely one of my go to authors. Oh, be warned but be warned! She is definitely the queen of cliffhangers! There will be 3 parts to this story which will be release 1 week from each other.
I was excited for Seth’s story. He was first introduced to us in the Dirty Money Series. This is a spin-off and can be read without reading that series but if you enjoy this book then I definitely recommend you’d checking it out.
Seth and Amanda are previous lovers and partners in the CIA. 3 years ago Amanda betrayed him and left him broken-hearted when she was responsible for his Handler and close friends death. They are suddenly thrown back together in order to work together on another case. Seth will protect her at any cost because if anyone is going to kill her it’s going to be him. And as they say, there is definitely a fine line between love and hate! The tension between these two are explosive!! But we are sucker-punched at the end and are wondering who is betraying who?!
I can’t wait to read the next part in this trilogy! So good!

LORD!!!! Oh, how I wish this was being released in it’s entirety. But at least I can thank the stars that I’ll only have to wait a week in between installments. Poison Kisses is packed with intrigue, espionage, sex and secrets. Seth is an ex- CIA agent (as ex as they let you be). Three years after the night that caused him to leave the agency, he is forced to team up once again with the woman he believes abandoned him and their mission all those years ago to catch the bad guy. I am super excited to see how this will all play out. I already have so many questions and can’t wait to get the answers.

This book has left me begging for more! A suspenseful story full of intense feelings that show just how close hate and love really are. Seth and Amanda, ex CIA operatives are set to be an explosive match full of intense chemistry.

Part 1 left me with an epic book hangover, itching for more of their story! Let’s hope the wait isn’t too long!

Part 1 jumps right on in to the story of Seth and Amanda. Two former CIA agents who worked undercover together, fell into bed and love, then suddenly, it ended. Was it part of their cover? Or was it love? Did they have order's to kill the other? Was in part of the cover to sleep together? Did they really love each other? Do they love each other? What is going on??? Who is after her...or him? Can anyone be trusted? That's literally where I am at as I finished part one. Part one is a short, fast paced Novella that leaves you wanting and needing more!

Emotionally thrilling, smoking hot sexy, action packed second chance romantic adventure filled with passion, danger, intrigue and betrayal. This is a quick read with a cliff at the end, but it is there for a reason since this is only part one of three.

Amanda Skye is sweet, proper, smart and known as the Scientist. She is a CIA operative that was raised to be one and on the run after the man she fell in love with betrayed her. (or so she believes) Seth Cage is sexy, strong, smart and known as The Fixer for The Brandon Family Empire. This is a great start to Seth and Amanda’s story. We met Seth in the Dirty Money Series and this is his story. Three years ago Seth and Amanda were in the CIA and paired together in an undercover operation. They were to pretend to be husband and wife and after awhile, they fell in love. This first story tells of how they began as a couple and how they ended up alone for three years. I love the past and present dialogue. I can not wait to see how all the secrets are ultimately revealed. This is another great romantic suspense book from Lisa Renee Jones!

An amazing start to Lisa Renee Jones Dirty Money world spinoff! Seth, the mysterious man beside Derek Brandon has an even more mysterious background. And I for one am so interested in how may skeletons are in his closet.

As our first novella enters Seth's past comes back to haunt him. Amanda, the woman he loved and who betrayed him has reappeared on his radar. Now he has to work beside her as an enemy from their past also reappears. His final mission after they stop a madman: he has to kill her. Upon finding her, the explosive past hovers between them and the sexual tension is so thick that it left be breathing heavy and dying to find out more. As they collide, so does the memory of their beginning.

Jones tells a second story alongside our hero and heroine. We get the chance to see Seth and Amanda's start. Two undercover spies who are whip-smart and ready to defend themselves at a moments notice leaves for some intense moments. Match that with their sexual tension and this explosive story should get really interesting. I can't wait to see just what will happen in Seth and Amanda's story...and what happened in the past.

This book is a bit different in the way it's being released, instead of one long novel it is being broken down into three novellas that can be read in an afternoon...at least that is how I have read it. Book one is available now, book two will be out next week, and book three will be out the following week. It's up to you how you would like to enjoy them, separately or all together.

This book is about Amanda Skye, The Scientist, and Seth Cage, The assassin, some of you may recognize Seth from the Dirty Money series. This book goes back and forth between the present day and three years earlier when Seth and Amanda worked for the CIA on an assignment portraying a couple, husband and wife, in order to get some Intel needed when they fell in love but due to circumstances beyond their control their relationship came to a unexpected end and left a fellow agent dead. Fast forward to the present day and Seth is being called in by the agency for one more job, his assignment is to find Amanda and work with her to finish one last assignment.

I am really enjoying the chemistry between Seth and Amanda, these two really know how to keep spice in their life and in between the sheets. We are left with a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of part 1, but honestly that is to be expected since everything will unfold in three books. I look forward to jumping into book two, not only for more of the great chemistry but I really am curious on what they will find when they get the person they are looking for.
