Poison Kisses: Part 1 is the first book in this 3 part series. Per Goodreads the first part is 86 pages. This is a spin off from the Dirty Money Series. You don’t have to read it to understand what is happening in this new series. Although, the Dirty Money Series is very good!

Poison Kisses: Part 1 is Amanda Larke and Seth Cage’s story. Seth is a CIA Assassin and his target is Amanda. Seth knows Amanda when they were partners in the CIA and he knows her intimately. Seth accepts the contract to kill her. Now they are enemies. I don’t want to say more because I don’t want to give away any spoilers. But, let me tell you the chemistry between the two of them is pretty HOT.

I love the first part of the story and can’t wait to start the second part.

I am a LRJ fan and this new series? is no different. It captured my attention immediately and left me wanting more.

I really enjoyed this first book in a 3-part serial.
I Love the chemistry between Seth and Amanda. They are both very stubborn but I think they are very suited to each other.
Really enjoyed the story the sex scenes are hot between the two of them. I do not want to say much because I do not want to spoil it but if you need a quick read with steamy scenes with a good story then I recommend this book.
Cannot wait to get my hands on the next installment.

This was engaging from the start, filled with action, suspense, intrigue, government deceptions, a past betrayal and an undead passion that is now a love/hate relationship. Forced to work together one more time for the greater good two exceedingly lethal operatives and an oriental shorthair make their way to Texas. The protagonists are kickass characters with a serious lack of trust who constantly challenge each other, the sexual tension between them was undeniable and had them questioning themselves.

This reader looks forward to reading more. What I didn’t like about this? That it’s being released as a serial, this reader prefers full books.

I love everything Lisa Renee Jones writes, but for some reason I’m just not connecting to Seth’s story. Don’t misunderstand me, the story is beautifully written and readers will most definitely enjoy it.

I've read past books by Lisa Renee Jones and she never disappoints me with her books. I look forward to reading more books in this series and more books by Lisa Renee Jones.

I'm not usually a fan of installment stories, episode releases, but this grabbed me. I love the authors Talk, Dark and Deadly series, so gave it a go, glad to say I wasn't disappointed. The back story, full of intrigue, mystery and suspense grabbed my imagination trying to figure out who was dirty, Seth or Amanda, was it the CIA, the mobsters, Ming, ........ looking forward to the next part of the story......

OMG!! OMG!!! This book is a three part series... and I only have the first part... eeek!!!! I NEED the next two parts.
As only Lisa Renee Jones can do it, this book is a suspenseful , love story that has you on the edge of your seat.
The relationship between the two characters is a very love/hate ( they think) relationship. Each is blaming the other for things that happened three years ago.
I cannot wait till the next installment.

Well.... We all met Seth Cage in Lisa's Dirty Money series and knew there was more to his story! Poison Kisses is where we get his back story..... and part one is a great start to his story. There is suspense in their story and a long lost love that you can still feel, a fantastic start to this story. Part One was PERFECT!

CIA spy.... Seth Cage recruited in college but retired for three years, but when you are the level that Seth was, you never really get out.... you are still called on when needed... and this is where we start his story. He is needed in a case that he was involved in years ago. It will bring him back in contact with Amanda, another CIA spy who he worked with for over three months and fell in love with only to be betrayed by her.... or was he?

In Part One, there is a lot of back ground to who both Seth and Amanda are or were when they met and worked together. They fell in love while working a case but something happened the last night they worked together and everything changed. Things did not go down according to the plan, the question is what and why? Neither of them ever saw each other again to ask and now they are working together again and have to figure out if the can trust each other. Questions need to be answered. There is an uncertainty between them because was betrayal in the past and without answers there will never be trust if trust is even possible. Just because there is a sexual connection does not mean there is trust. Was their connection three years ago a true connection or was it the "Ultimate lie"?

Part One ends with....We end Part One with "The lies end here."

Can't wait for Poison Kisses Part Two

I LOVED this book!!!!! What an amazing start to this series. I have always found this author to write well written books that grab me from page one and keep me guessing till the end and this book is no exception. I can't wait to read the additional books in this series and see what happens with Amanda and Cage and if they both survive their missions

Action, passion, sex. Can’t wait for the next book.

This book was imaginative and sexy to the extreme! I loved reading it and I loved the characters connections with each other. A definite winner for me.

A terrific kickoff to the Poison Kisses serial! Ms. Jones once again wows her audience with Seth and Amanda's story! Highly recommended!

I have waited for Seth's story ever since I read about him in the Dirty Money series. I've wanted to know all about him and how he ticks.

I fell in love with him and I see why Amanda did too. He is sexy, intelligent, charming and a dirty talker. He has been sent to by the CIA to get Amanda so they can work on a mission together then he's been ordered to kill her. There are a lot of unresolved issues and feelings involved and that's where this story ended.... Need book 2 to answer all the questions

This is book 1 in a new series from Lisa Renee Jones. It's fast paced, hot, and edge of your seat reading. Poison Kisses, will keep you page turning to find pretty much anything. My only beef, it was over to soon, and now I have to wait for book 2.

Seth Cage is known as the assassin, and has no worries keeping that title.

Amanda is known as the Poison Princess, and is now the target to Seth, but not straight up murder, they well have to work l together, to bring down a man they thought was dead. Hate and lust... guns and fights....

This story is like modern day Mr & Mrs Smith.....
