Wow such a great series. Triggers of rape and abduction. Dark story.
Loose ends tied up nicely as Ruby and the Steel family comes to terms with the past. Actions that were considered minor results in a big event where blackmail is a key tool. Promises are fulfilled as protection is provided even in warped sense of reality. Love that characters that were in previous books made appearances to tidy up the storyline. The characters in the Steel Brothers saga are masters of manipulation and planning thus ultimately revealing the true master - Ms. Hardt - in a well thought out 9 book series that starts with a CRAVING that becomes an OBSESSION leading to POSSESSION where you MELT from the BURN as you SURRENDER SHATTERED as this TWISTED tale is UNRAVELED.

Halfway through this book, I was asking myself how I could review this book, when my soul had already been ripped out. By the time I finished this book, I had finally been pieced back together again. Ryan and Ruby are still trying to put together all of the pieces of the ridiculously complicated puzzle of the sex slave business their parents had been involved in for decades. When the answers start coming together fast and furious, they only seem to bring up even more questions. All of the children of these monsters have had terrible, abusive childhoods but, instead of destroying them, they have only become stronger and more determined to save others from the same fate. You will be forced into every one of the emotions you have and more. You will sob, you will grieve, you will be furious and, at times, murderous. You will feel debilitating pain and, you will finally feel peace!
If I could give this book a 10 STAR rating, I would!
*There are scenes in this book that some people may not be able to tolerate. Please understand that they are vital to the story.*
There could not have been a better or, more phenomenal ending to this saga!

This book comes with a close to one of the better series out there. I have read them all and i loved each and every one of the stories of the steel brothers. Ryan's story is about far the best even though Talon and Jade's story is at a close second. I wish there was more coming from the Steels but all good things must come to an end I guess and this is the last. If you want to read great series you must read these in order since they are not stand alones and I would suggest to do so. Thanks to Netgalley for letting me read this as an ARC..

I didn’t want it to end I got so attached to the steels. The mystery’s the twists and turns Helen wrapped this beautiful story up.

We finally get the ending we were looking for...or that "I" was looking for :). Helen Hardt weaves a tale with all the Steel Brothers books that are for a very good reason called a SAGA! Each book reveals a bit more about nearly ALL the characters and the mystery and suspense is absolutely amazing. Unraveled is the ninth and final book in the saga but the third of Ryan's story. All secrets will be revealed, all mysteries will be solved and the brothers finally have their say and their closure to some extent. Ruby and Ryan show amazing growth in this book and the ability to see beyond their own pain becomes apparent throughout the book and the horrifying things they must see and deal with. While there is a ton of pain and REALLY difficult moments to read in this book, there is also light, healing, closure, forgiveness and yes, plenty of steam. Watch how this family finally pulls together and learns to love, forgive, heal and grow. Despite the finality of the words, I find myself wanting more (maybe Marjorie's story lol).

I love this series and don't want it to ever end. Great characters that will make you fall in love with their stories. Heartwarming family. I need more from this story line.

The epic Steel saga comes to its conclusion and I am sad to see it end. This is not a standalone and must be read in order. I will also caution those with certain triggers as this can be a challenging read as it is a dark romance containing elements of rape, kidnapping and abuse. Ryan and Ruby, along with Ryan’s brothers and their wives, continue their quest to uncover the truth behind the elaborate deceptions, secrets and betrayals that stem from their parents and what transpired during their youth. Ms. Heart has done a spectacular job weaving the threads to show the strength of family and love and with support a person can get through the tough times. There are also some twists that the reader will not see coming and will have one’s emotions on overdrive. This is one book that brings the reader to his/her knees. I do hold out hope that Ms. Hardt will consider writing Marjorie’s story one day.
I volunteered to read an arc provided by Netgalley.

This was an amazing book, about conflict, turmoil, and family love and coming together when it counts...It is a must read hands down... You will love the lows and the highs to come whole again!!!

This is final installment to the Steele brothers saga. I'm sad because I have really enjoyed these books.
We as readers learn what really happened between the characters involved in this book. And when I say " we learn everything... I mean everything".
I feel some questions were left unanswered but in the long run I had answers to almost all of them.
Helen Hardt is truely a magnificent story-teller. She has captured my attention from page one at the beginning of this series and has not let up on me. I was like a "crack addicted reader " who needed her... that fix was the next book. Now I feel like Imgoung to be going through withdrawal without the Steele brothers.

Epic Awesomeness
I am at a loss for words as tears are streaming down my face.
Ryan and Ruby finally get the HEA after everything they have been through.
Unraveled is a very fitting title for this book as it brings the whole series together through all the twists and turns from the other 8 books.

Helen Hardt did it again. It is hard to believe that this is the 9th and final book of this series. One would think that 9 books would drag on but the content flowed between each book and character. This final book wrapped up the series in surprising and somewhat shocking turns of events. Each character had an ending. No plot was left undeveloped. The characters intertwined in a way that was easy to understand and left the reader satisfied with the end of the storyline. The only negative is that this is the end of the series. The characters have become companions and I will miss being a part of their lives.

This is the final book for this series. There were a lot of unanswered questions answered, for the four siblings of Daphne and Bradford Steel. There were people showing up that you never thought you would see, cause they were suppose to of been other places. There was also a happy ending for one couple..
"I received this book for free from Netgalley/author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review."

this was so good i just didn't want to put it down. I had me wanting more and We got it. what a great ending to a awesome series. In the book we got closer to everything. thru the adventures of the brothers and their stories.

The end is here!! All the unanswered questions. FINALLY!!! This read had a lot of revelations and let's you know if all the things you thought were right!?! I was right and wrong about a lot of it. There are still some lingering questions that I still have. The Steel's have a lot to deal with in this book. This was a fast read and I enjoyed every last word of it. I have loved this series and was hooked from the very beginning!! Read these books in order. I am bummed that it ended, but I enjoyed every winding turn and craziness it took me on!
I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley at my request for my honest opinion! Thanks NET Galley!!

Not sure what I want to say. It was a great ending of a gripping series. There were plenty loops and turns with surprises around every corner, it seemed. I didn’t want the Steel saga to end but I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I didn’t write my review right away because I wanted to savor my experience. The outcome exceeded my expectations. I’m soooo glad that I found Helen Hardt and the Steels. Thank you from a grateful fan.

Wow! This is the final book in the Steel Brothers Saga and it took me down a dark and twisted road. Luckily, there was light at the end of the tunnel, but getting there was hard! Just a warning to potential readers of this series, it is DARK. It deals with terrible issues of abuse, rape, and kidnapping. And, while these issues aren't projected in the story (you aren't necessarily reading all this brutality, only hearing about it second hand in most cases), it is still hard to read about. So if you don't like books that deal with these sensitive issues, then this may not be the book for you.
For me, I read the series in its entirety. Some was hard to stomach, but the relationships that brewed after the fact were really nice to read about. I enjoyed getting to know all the Steel brothers (although admittedly, Talon is my favorite) and the women who saved them from themselves. Now, while I am sad to see them go, I am glad to see that each of these strong men got their HEA. It was a tough road getting there, but it was nice to see them all overcome their demons.
If you are new to the series, I will tell you that it is a DARK romantic suspense series. Again, when I say dark I don't mean that you will have to witness all the brutality that these men suffered in their past, but you WILL hear about it and get glimpses of what happened to them. I won't tell you WHAT in case you haven't read it, but it is certainly not topics for those who have weak stomachs.
One of the things that I wished there was more of in this series would be their sisters story. I don't know if Helen has any plans of writing her one, but it would be really nice to see how she overcomes everything that has happened in her lifetime.
Normally from her I would give readers a brief description of the story, but I honestly don't want to because I would have to start from the beginning of the series and there is too much to cover. All I can say is that you have to read these books in order to gain an understanding at everything.
OVERALL THOUGHTS OF THE BOOKS
This is a KILLER ending to a series and Helen Hardt did an amazing job at bringing their stories to a close. It may have taken a while to get here, but I think the ride was worth it in the grand scheme of things. Overall, I really enjoyed the series, even the dark aspects because it shows that people can overcome anything if they allow themselves to. So I would definitley recommend all the books to those who can handle the dark elements.

Great end to the series even though I would love for Ms. Hardt to write more about the Steel brothers and sister! The mystery that the Steel siblings and the women that they fall try to solve throughout this series was so interesting, fascinating, twisted, and mind blowing. Ms. Hardt sure knows how to make the unexpected happen with the mystery because whatever came next seems to be always unexpected. The unexpected kept us guessing what would come next and trying to figure out the answers along with the Steel brothers. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and this ending didn't disappoint!

Ryan and Ruby will lead you on an adventure that is mind provoking, hot, sexy, steamy and heart warming. The love that these characters share is stronger than any they have had in the past. It also allows Ryan and Ruby to grow as individuals, partners and lovers as they travel on the journey to find out about their mysterious parents and how their past is impacting them now. Unraveled is a must read romance book that will capture your heat.

Unraveled is amazing! If you haven’t read the ARC yet you will need to buy this book and read it. So many twist to this story. Just wish the series would still continue. Helen knows how to write a story and keep you wanting more at the very end, lol.

Book 9 in the Steel brothers saga series, this wasn't what I thought it would be. I was so lost. I hadn't realized that I should have read all the others in the series, I have only read the first book! I really enjoyed the writing but I felt that the overall explanation of the whys, was a little silly and weak. I think one day I might return to this series from where I left off.
