This book has strong Christian ethic and is almost reminiscent of a Frank Peretti novel. It is set around the Church and its parishioners and the fight to protect them.
Love In The Wings Is such a great supernatural romance. 2 words you didn't think you would put together did you? Fantastical this is. Any of you out there familiar with what started this whole Christian supernatural genre? It is This Present Darkness - by Frank Peretti that this book is just like that book has - I love that book so much. I followed that author all the way till this present day I still read his books now and this author is just almost as good as Frank Peretti that I plan on following this author's books. This book is so much like how Frank Perretti wrote. I enjoyed it so very much and it made me think in different ways it then opened my eyes to so many things that I changed my whole life. This book can do the same thing for you - it has the Supernatural things in it but it also has the natural things in it it has romance it has all the twist and turns that you expect in a good book from a good author you have evil gradually entering a town and taking it over and the only thing that's keeping it from taking over the whole town is a group of Christian prayers and that's what it takes doesn't it?
Love in the Wings is a great inspirational romance. Well written with a good plot and believable characters. This author never fails to entertain me with her writing.
This is a very different romance with a strong Christian ethic. It is set around the Church and its parishioners in Angel Falls and the fight to protect them.
The Church secretary is Aria Robbins and she has other key roles within the Church. Corbin Bishop joins the Church to be the new youth minister and moves next door to her, she dislikes him from the start - but can’t say just why. When the vicar’s wife, Pia, has a phone call warning from someone she trusts stating that the village and the vicar in particular are going to be under spiritual attack. The atmosphere in the village is dark, heavy and humid so the warning is heeded. Pia and Aria set up a round the clock prayer cycle to help protect the vicar and the community. This prayer team are known as Warriors in God’s Service - or WINGS.
As the threat materialises, there are dangers, secrets and so much more to be revealed. It is a short but action packed novella with great characters and made an interesting read that I enjoyed. It seems unusual to find such a strongly Christian based novel having paranormal elements but they work well in this context and seemed very relevant to the plot. It is a story of good v evil and, even if you aren’t a Christian, I suspect you’ll enjoy this if you’re looking for a quick but action packed ‘clean’ romance. I’ll definitely be looking out for future books in this series or by this author in future.
I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.
