This was a entertaining tale of a woman who lives in a tiny house and travels in it to visit her home organizing clients. She becomes with one hoarder client and a neighbor and humor ensues as they travel to try to sell som,e of her things. It was a interesting look at living and traveling in a tiny house and a cute story
Another wonderful story about living in a tiny house. Fun concept, but like to see the struggles too. This is the story of young Vivien, who buys a super small version, and heads across country to start her new job as a personal organizer. She is heading to New Mexico, to help 70 year old Priscilla organize her house. She meets with Marco, who brings the groceries, and both of them are suspicious of each other, and try to be protective of Priscilla. Perfect route to a good romance. Fun story, and great author. This is the 2nd book I've read in the series, and hope there are many more to come. Would highly recommend.
First of all, 64 square feet of living space for you and your everything? I could not imagine. I just helped my friend move from a 3600 square foot house into a 46 foot RV and I was having trouble thinking about that life. I'm sorry, I don't care how much you like the person your living with, you still need space away from time to time. Not that Vivien had that problem as she bought the house for herself and herself only. So she thought. Ha!!
This was a little too cutesy at times, for me, and definitely cheesy throughout, I did enjoy the read though. A fun little adventure that I did find enjoyable.
I loved Priscilla's questions and remarks about the working of cell phones. "Can two people read the menu on Google at once?" Ha!! Although her reasoning did make total sense from someone who had never seen one before.
A great little story that I know because of that little, tiny house, I will not forget.
Thanks to Kensington Books and Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
Following the tiny house craze comes the book, "Tiny House on the Road" by Celia Bonaduce being released March 13, 2018. I thoroughly enjoyed breezing through this fun read that I got to read pre-released from Net Gallery. Definitely a "fluff" read with fun cute characters to go with the cute house on wheels. There was a nice surprise I didn't see coming at the end so enjoy!
Light, entertaining tale of Vivian, a millennial, bonding with her client Priscilla, a 7o year old while sorting through Priscilla's accumulated stuff. The tiny house aspect of this was charming, especially as Vivian adjusts to life in a very small space. Marco- Priscilla's 25 year old neighbor and friend- doesn't think much of Vivian at first but, well, you know what happens. Putting Priscilla, Vivian, and Marco on the road from New Mexico to California to take an antique doll to an Antique Roadshow type event makes this a chuckle worthy read. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A nice positive book!
