The Series didn't really hook in me so I won't be reading the rest of them!

THAT ENDING.
Such a great episode! I was hanging on to every word and couldn't read it fast enough!

Well, we’re getting to the end of the 2nd season so I’m feeling less inclined to include real details in case anyone happens upon this prior to reading the rest.

I just can’t even, with this episode. I’ve felt so bad for Cole through the whole story, knowing what he lost when he died and was remade. I even felt bad knowing how Oz was manipulating him. But the fact of the matter is that Cole knew he was being manipulated and did what he did anyway. And now I kind of hate him for it. Probably the most emotional I’ve gotten in an episode of this story so far. I may hate him more than Oz at this point. I mean, I understand that he’s still basically a kid and doesn’t know how to deal with all the feels, but seriously (view spoiler). But who am I to judge? I’ve never been in the situation these kids are in, but I would like to think I wouldn’t be that pathetic.

The one thing I will give Cole is that I like him telling the story of him rebuilding a boat with his dad, and philosophizing on when the boat is no longer the original one after so much of it being rebuilt and remade? Definitely goes along with the overall story.

What a trip this chapter was. I never really liked Colt, but I can't stop reading this series! Now I see my intuition to not like him were somewhat justified. Sort of. I understand all too well where he was coming from and how he ended up the way he did. The mind is a finicky thing. But what he did to Umta? Completely inexcusable. Umta was my favorite and that was a major shock. I am looking forward to seeing where our lost children end up now that they (hopefully!) can get out of Sanctuary.
