This is a novella mainly focusing on Frankie, the sassy undertaker and county coroner. The family is in the midst of a prank war when a one night stand turns up and announces he is the new sheriff! Yikes!

An Entertaining Teaser

This novella introduces you to quirky undertaker and county coroner Frankie McCready and her budding romance with new interim sheriff Eric Linden. It also puts you front and center for pranks and shenanigans with Frankie’s arch nemesis, 16 year old Jared Lewis. This sometimes hilarious story is filled with snarky dialogue and wacky situations. Plus I’ve already read the next novel that comes after this one to complete Frankie and Eric’s story and it’s even more fun. Love the McCreadys.

A quick quriky novella that I really enjoyed. You don't need to read the first books to understand the plot.

Everything Molly Harper writes is laugh out loud funny. Peachy Flippin Keen is no exception. I neeeeed the next book in the series though. How'm I going to wait to find out how they make their way to their happily ever after?

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. I really liked this book. This short novella sets up a few things for the next book. We meet Frankie (female coroner) who has to prove herself to the new sheriff. The new sheriff who she recently met before he became sheriff. We also meet Frankie's eccentric family. Overall, I would recommend you reading this if you like Molly Harper's writing and want to read the next book in the series.

Very short read that is a part of the rest of the Eclectic universe and is a Prequel to Ain't She A Peach. that comes out in June.
I am now on the edge of my seat waiting for the rest of the story from Frankie and Eric. I cant wait to see how this turns out.

It was my first book in this series and didnt take much for me to jump in.
Frankie is a funny coroner and mortician that always has a comeback. Her family babies her which makes for some great comentary.
I look forward to learning more about Eric in the next book. We dont learn much here except that he is stoic and professional.
I am excited to see where the story goes.

I love all things Molly Harper and this is no exception!! I can't wait to request the next book. This really was unlike all the other books that she's put out lately and if you haven't read this book then get on it!! You won't regret reading this. It was funny, at times it was sweet, and then I was rolling!!

I was given an ARC copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own and do not reflect anyone else's.

Adorable novella. Sassy and fun and funny. Cute without being cutesy. Since there was no resolution I can't rate it. It was sort of like a snapshot of this zany family with hints of a big fun story. But just a tease.

Love the small town feel and can't wait for the next book.

This is a very cute prologue to Frankie's story, which we'll get to finish later in AIN'T SHE A PEACH. As always, Harper writes charming, witty characters, vivid settings, and delightful love stories. Reader beware though, it is a setup to AIN'T SHE A PEACH, and ends without a real ending. A fun read if you are a die-hard Harper fan, otherwise, wait for the actual novel.

I cannot wait to read the rest of this story. If you are a southern woman, you will totally relate to this hysterical novella! Just bought the pervious books to read!

4 1/2 stars
As I began reading Peach Flippin' Keen, the latest offering in Molly Harper's Southern Eclectic series and became aware that it was a novella, I panicked. No, no, no! You can't just give irreverent, blue-haired Frankie a novella! We need a novel of Frankie! Fortunately after doing a quick bit of research, I discovered that there will indeed be a Frankie novel. Phew.

For those of us who can't get enough of the inhabitants of Lake Sackett, Georgia, Peach Flippin' Keen is a fun appetizer in the meantime until the next novel comes out.

Frankie had a one night stand in Atlanta, which she sneaked out on in the middle of the night to avoid the awkward morning after. But awkward has just begun because the same man shows up as the new sheriff. Because she's the county coroner, it's impossible for her to avoid him. The personality which drew her to him to begin with seems to have dried up and he's anything but pleasant to her. Likewise, she's a pain in the butt to him.

Peach Flippin' Keen has pranks, a possible suspicious drowning, hilarious moments, and the wonderful characters from the preceding Southern Eclectic stories. I love this series so much that I hope Molly Harper continues it for a very long time. If you like humorous women's fiction with eccentric characters, this one's for you!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

While I totally totally totally love everything she writes, and this was no exception, one warning: while it's technically a novella, it's really more like a teaser for a 'real' novel. And now I want the rest RIGHT NOW

I loved the newest chapter in the Southern Eclectic series! This novella is about Frankie, mortician in her family's business, and Eric, the new sheriff. The chemistry between them was red hot when they first met but then Frankie finds out her one night stand is the new man in town. I love Molly Harper's books and can't wait for the next one!

Peachy Flippin' Keen is a prequel teaser novella that introduces a new character and setting the reader up for the tension and backstory of the leads, county coroner Frankie McCready and Sheriff Eric Linden. The story is short and almost a prologue rather than a stand alone novella. Frankie's flaws and strengths are fleshed out a bit and the story showcases Harper's humor and deft dialogue.

I'm not allowed to read Molly Harper's book in public anymore because they make me laugh out loud and people tend to stare at that kind of behavior!
Frankie McCready, the coroner of Lake Sackett, and the entire McCready family is back in this novella - the set up to Frankie's full book - and they are in rare form. Someone's been up to no good in the tiny town and the McCready's businesses are suffering from. New Sheriff, Eric, a one night stand Frankie had and can't seem to forget about - is introduced and you just know the next book's gonna be about him and our darling Frankie.
I can't get enough of this wacky, loving family. Thanks, Netgalley, for letting me review an arc of this book for an honest opinion. 5 well deserved start!

A cleverly written story about a coroner who works out of the bait and tackle shop in Georgia. Small town humor, and lots of characters make for a fun and witty story. Have not read the other book in the series, but have it on my list. Enjoyed many books by this author, and this one is no exception. Looking forward to more about Frankie and the new sheriff in town. Highly recommend this book, author and series.

I love Molly Harper's books! They're so zany and crazy-southern-lady. :) While they all go together, because they're all about the same family, you can only read one and not feel that you've missed anything. So why am I only giving this one four stars? Well, it's because the book was pretty darn short, AND it just stopped right in the middle of something....like, I only got half of the book. Which I know isn't true, because the author's note and all of the ending materials were included. I didn't like feeling like half of the book was missing.

this was a fun little novella while we wait for Frankie's book. it doesn't really move the story that far forward, it recaps things we learned in book #1 and sets it all up for the next book. it was definitely enjoyable, cute and funny, hope the next book pops up on netgalley soon. i will say though, i wish it had focused more on her night with the sheriff, and i wish the pranking thing was resolved since that seems to be the point of the novella based on the synopsis. don't get me wrong, not complaining, i enjoyed it, can't wait for the next one.

Yeah, I guess it'd be hard to date.

Who fights at a funeral?

Frankie. Do you want to be the murdered girl on the news?

Ruh-roh.

Interesting impression you're making here, Eric.

Yeesh, don't I feel safer knowing I don't live in this town. Landry's the village idiot, clearly.

Omigawd, i'm dyin'! I wanna yell "Family meetin'!"

This book is making me hungry.

Really, Marnette? Would you like to be the one who buries people, then? Because I'm sure Frankie could use the help.

Wait, that's it?
