American college grad Katie is as ambitious as she is creative, so when she learns of a friend’s brother who owns an art gallery in Dubai, she leaps at the chance to jumpstart her career in the luxurious city. But her dream job quickly becomes a nightmare when she discovers her new boss is as unpleasant as he is handsome. Khalid Sharif may make her pulse race but not even his dark mystique, lithe muscles and ridiculous wealth are enough to make up for his rudeness. When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book i couldn't put it down. Leslie is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of her books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, but reads well as a stand alone book. I actually liked this one the best. The characters are flawed but intriguing. A fast, fun read. I think most romance readers would enjoy.

Khalid is a stereotypical artist. Moody, abrupt and in a word an "ass". Katie is a saint for putting up with him.
So if she's a little stubborn, that's ok.

This story is about the third brother of Sharif Sheikhs. Khalid is not so much into business as his brothers. He is a talented painter, but after confronting his father he compromised to let it go and focus on running a gallery. Katie came to Dubai to find a connection to her mother’s root and to make a fresh start. She has an impressive cv which at last she would like someone to get it notices. She wants to be a curator, an aim quite difficult to be achieved in a man ruled world. Their paths will cross and though Khalid will try to remain distant by keeping double life, being her boss during day and her lover at night, he will have to act when she will reach her limits and decide to return to the states.
I found this third book more appealing. A unique plot, fast-paced with interesting characters having depth and the appropriate emotional exposure. The alternation between storytelling and hot scenes was to the point. I strongly believe this was best of the three stories so far.

Now the only thing I suppose is for Amira’s story to be told ;)
