This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story.The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

Justin Miller works in Morocco running part of Drummond Charities. He has noticed supplies missing and shipments diverted and has called in for help. Justin is expecting Alec Drummond, the head of the company, to show up. Instead, Alec sends his younger brother Finn to help investigate what is going on.

Finn may be the younger brother, but he is no less determined to find out what is happening to the shipments. Their mission in Morocco to help refugees is too important to let supplies get stolen. But when Finn shows up at the camp, he is met with immediate hostility from Justin. Justin makes it clear he has no time or patience for Finn, and he insults and argues with him every step of the way. While part of Justin recognizes his own bad behavior, his years long attraction to Justin is coloring his feelings.

Whether they like it or not, the men are forced to work together to figure out who is behind the thefts. As they spend more time together, they act on the attraction they feel for one another. But that still doesn’t mean Justin is ready to open up about his feelings, and working with Finn is still a struggle. Yet as the men continue their investigation and things grow more dangerous, they must learn to trust one another if they are going to make it out with their lives.

Dirty Games is the second book in HelenKay Dimon’s Dirty series, featuring the wealthy and powerful Drummond brothers. We met Finn in the first story, Dirty Deeds, and I quite liked him as the fiesty and somewhat bad boy younger brother to Alec, so I was looking forward to getting his book.

I found the set up and the setting for this one quite interesting, with the move to Morocco. Dimon does a nice job giving us a sense of the political climate and the atmosphere of the country. Their charity works a lot with refugees who are trying to make their way to Europe through Morocco, and they make food, shelter, and medication available. It is important work, but they walk a fine line in terms of keeping within the government’s good graces. There is also danger all around, particular for someone as wealthy and well known as Finn. The mystery of who is behind the stolen shipments is well done and kept me engaged throughout. I think the suspense end of things plays out quite well here and I really enjoyed that aspect of the book.

The relationship side didn’t play quite as well for me. While I really liked Finn in the first book, he came across a little flatter in this one. But the real problem for me here is Justin. He is just grumpy and angry and unpleasant to Finn almost all the time. The idea is that he has had this attraction to Finn for years, but assumed he was straight (Finn is in fact out and bi). Justin figured nothing would ever come of that attraction, so he has been protecting his heart by keeping Finn at a distance. And even once he knows Finn is into men too, Justin then worries about getting his heart broken. So Justin is hot and cold, nasty and rude to Finn one moment, hot and heavy another. I could have dealt with this on a small scale, but it goes on and on and on. Even at the very end of the story when it seems finally Justin has accepted his feelings and wants to move forward with Finn, he is still picking a fight and being nasty. It just got exhausting and liking a guy more than you want to is just not a good enough excuse for being terrible to him. So this really affected my feelings for Justin and the relationship.

Overall though, I found the storyline and the suspense end of this one enough to carry the book and I still enjoyed it. I am liking this series (and really liked the Tough Love series that shares this world) and I am looking forward to more. We get some hints about the third Drummond brother in this story and I definitely am looking forward to his book.

Dirty Games is the second book in the Dirty Series by author Helen Kay Dimon. I really like this author’s style of writing. Really interesting characters. I always feel very connected to the characters. You do not have to read the first book to get this book’s storyline.
Justin has been fighting his attraction to Finn for years. Believing that he is straight and unattainable. It also has made him come off as gruff and uncaring at times when really, he is just protecting himself.
Finn comes off as the more mature person in this story. He is bisexual and younger than Justin, but he understands both himself and Justin in ways that make him feel more mature than his years suggest.
Overall a great story and I cannot wait for more from this series in the future.

I loved this book! Super cute. Will recommend for sure! This book was exactly what I didn't know I was looking for!

so like one of the blandest premises in the world is the damaged poor love interest who is a straight up asshole to the MC because of their money. newsflash, asshole, it's not a trauma contest. another superb case of using a womans assault to further along the storyline of a man. cool. miss me with that, please.

This was hard to read. Hard because I have a serious dislike for one of the MCs. Finn was a great guy, likeable, solid and interesting. Justin, on the other hand, not so much. He's an ass and totally comes off terrible. While I could understand and sympathize with some of Justin's issues and worries, the way he treated Finn was not okay. Time and time again, Finn was sweet and giving, totally forgiving and welcoming Justin back into his arms. Justin just kept messing it up and it happened way too many times.

I liked Finn enough to finish the book out, and I'm glad they have their happy ending. I just with Finn got someone else.

Dirty Gamesis the second book in the Dirty series from HelenKay Dimon. I loved getting Alec Drummond's book with Dirty Deedsand really enjoyed reading Finn Drummond's book with Dirty Games.

I loved there was chemistry between Justin and Finn pretty much from the moment they met, even if Justin didn't deal with it very well. Seriously when they met years ago, Justin was so attracted to Finn, he slept with his brother Alec as a substitute. Of course, Justin is gay and in his defense, Finn, who is bi, did have a girlfriend at the time. I had to laugh at how hard it was for Justin to be around Finn and not be a jerk, as he kept trying to hide his feelings. Seriously, if something could be said wrong or bitchy, it came out of Justin's month when talking to Finn. I really expected Justin to have better game around a man he was attracted to honestly.

Finn and Justin came from completely different backgrounds, yet both had some really bad experiences with family in their past. I loved that Finn really wanted to not only help the people the Drummond Charities were already helping, but wanted to step up and do even more. I will say I was stumped by who was after Finn and trying to make him leave through much of the book. He was there to investigate missing shipments and discovered there were some weapons runners in the area. I thought I had it figured out pretty early on, but was actually pretty happy to be wrong. I love when an author writing romantic suspense keeps me guessing, and Ms. Dimon did an amazing job in Dirty Games.

I loved watching Finn and Justin figure out both their working relationship and their personal relationship and if the two could be one. Seriously these two had some of the most amazing chemistry and smoking hot sex scenes between them. I loved the steaminess of them together every bit as much as I loved the moments of tenderness between them.

Dirty Gamesis another winner from HelenKay Dimon. Fans who love romantic suspense books will love this book and series. I've been reading Ms. Dimon's books for years and highly recommend each and every book she writes, but have to say I have special love for her romantic suspense books.

Dirty Games was so much more than I expected! I loved it. Finn and Justin were electric with each other and that is even before they get naughty! The book has some great suspense and a wonderful story to tell. I was hooked and couldn't stop reading. The characters were dynamic and complex and that had me connecting with them. They were each such powerful people in their own ways and I loved the push and pull of their relationship before it even became one. This was a great book I highly recommend.

I loved the push-pull of their relationship. Add in the action and intrigue and it only adds to my enjoyment of the book. I might be a bit biased because I love this author and she's on my automatic buy list.

Synopsis: Justin is in charge of a charity that is in Morocco. They provide food and medicine and shelter for people who need it. When it seems as though supplies are going missing and guns are appearing, he contacts his boss and asks for help. Instead of the man he usually deals with, the youngest brother shows up. Justin has had a thing for Finn ever since they first met, but he believes that Finn is straight.
Finn is determined to to contribute to the family business. He wants to take over the charity aspect of it, but has to solve the mystery of what is happening with the supplies. He also has to deal with his attraction to Justin.
Justin had a hard childhood, and resents anyone who has money for the attitudes that they generally have. When he and Finn give in to their attraction, Justin has to fight his prejudices.

What I liked: that the story was set in a country that isn't usually a story setting. I liked the interactions between Justin and his second in charge, Oliver. I also liked the fact that Finn remains steadfast, no matter how much Justin tries to aggravate him.

What I didn't like: Justin. He pushed people away, and was just so cantankerous with everyone. He also ran away from any issues. In spite of the gravity of the situation, the story felt as though it just skimmed along the surface of everything.

Overall impression: told in third person POV alternating between Justin and Finn. The story and characters didn't really interest me.

Dirty Games by HelenKay Dimon is the second story in her LGBTQ romantic suspense series Dirty. It''s a fast paced and action packed story with a sexy romance between two acquaintances who find themselves looking for more.

Finn Drummond, the youngest of the Drummond siblings has had to work hard to make a name for himself. He's decided that the charity arm of the company is where he wants to make his mark, and sets out for Morocco, and a refugee camp that they fund. There have been some missing deliveries recently, and the camp leader, Justin Miller has put in a request for help. Finn's determined to help discover what's going on behind the scenes.

Justin had been expecting Finn's older brother Alec to show up, not the sexy, handsome man he's had an inconvenient crush on for years. When he first met Finn, Finn had a girlfriend and Justin had slotted him in the 'not available' category, believing he was straight. As it turns out, Finn is bisexual, as evidenced by his not so concealed mutual attraction to Justin. Justin and Finn begin a heated affair, one that they have to keep under the radar due to laws in Morocco against homosexual activity, not to mention that Finn is technically Justin's boss. But when accidents keep happening around Finn and his life appears to be in danger, will it draw them closer or push them apart for good?

I've been a fan of HelenKay Dimon's romantic suspense novels for a few years now (I'm particularly fond of the Holton Woods series) so I always look forward to reading a new release from her. This one has a particularly current storyline, with a relief camp for refugees in Morocco on the border with Spain's autonomous city Cueta dealing with a humanitarian crisis. The setting is well described, including trips in the local countryside to Tangier, and what life is like in the camp. Finn is there to investigate missing food and aid shipments, ones believed to be stolen and traded for arms shipments. Determining who is responsible and why is the focus of much of the story with Justin and Finn constantly finding themselves in danger as they get closer to the perpetrators.

While the action plot moves along swiftly, I didn't find the romance between Finn and Justin to be as compelling as I'd hoped. I really enjoyed Finn's character in the first in the series, Dirty Deeds, but I didn't find a lot of chemistry between him and Justin here. Justin is reluctant to share his real feelings about Finn with him, and while there are some steamy sex scenes, I wasn't as sold on them as a couple. Still, I was glad to see them get their happy for now ending (as much as can be had in a country where their relationship is forbidden) and the action kept me turning the pages. While this one isn't my favorite, HelenKay Dimon remains one of my go-to authors for romantic suspense and I'm hoping there will be a story for Griff Drummond in the not too distant future. I rate this one 3.5 stars.

Justin and Finn find themselves working together to solve a problem but will it just cause more? They are attracted to each other but will anything ever happen? Finn is the baby of the family and has learned how to work and play hard, but does he play to much? The chemistry between the two main characters was hot but there was some parts that felt like a disconnect. I want to learn and understand Finn better. Thank you for allowing me to write about this book.

This is a sexy/steamy page turner that will be a welcome read on beaches everywhere this summer.

After meeting the Drummond Brothers in previous books, I was curious to see their stories and adventures continue.
Dirty Games follows the youngest brother, Finn, as he goes to figure out issues with a charity receiving supplies destined for them. Sexual tension and intrigue start almost as soon as Finn arrives and butts heads with charity director, Justin.
Finn and Justin's story is interesting and I especially enjoyed the intrigue element of the story. Unfortunately, the romantic story fizzled for me. The baggage that Justin brings to the situation makes him a bad relationship bet and the yo-yo act he puts Finn through is aggravating to watch. The sad part of this for me was that when things between Fin and Justin were working, the mutual care and affection they had for each other radiated off the page.
Even though I don't think Dirty Games is the strongest read, it was entertaining and I am looking forward to seeing the conclusion of the Drummond Brother's stories.

This was a hard book for me to review. HelenKay Dimon is one of my favorite authors and I have read almost every book that she has written but Dirty Games isn't one of my favorites. I noticed that other readers had the same problem with the storyline being confusing as well as one of the main characters acting pretty immature. Our first main character Justin Miller is 37, served in the military until he took this job with Drummond Charities however he acts with the emotions of someone much younger. Finn Drummond seems to have his head screwed on right but I kept getting lost in the business dealings of Drummond Charities. This is why I am giving Dirty Games an average rating. I don't want anyone to skip this if they read Dirty Deeds and liked it because it could just be me. It's written from dual POV and it's got all the action and steam of Dirty Deeds but it just lacked something for me. I received a review copy via Netgalley and this is my freely given, honest opinion.

Fast-paced, smoldering, and exceptionally suspenseful!

Dirty Games, the latest novel in the Dirty series is an action-packed, steamy tale involving the determined, feisty, youngest Drummond brother, Finn and the serious, ruggedly handsome, snarky Justin as they reluctantly work together to solve the mystery behind the missing humanitarian aid shipments.

The writing is clear and crisp. The characters are hot-headed, relentless, and stubborn. And the plot sweeps you away into a push-pull storyline filled with tension, deception, danger, political instability, arms dealing, red-hot chemistry, sexy times, and violence.

Overall, Dirty Games is an enjoyable, entertaining, passionate read and even though I preferred the first novel in the series, if you love romantic suspense this won’t disappoint.

I give this a solid three stars. I liked it. I haven't read the first book in the series and in fact have only read one other by this author: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... . I recognized a few names from that other book, but even without a more thorough knowledge it stood alone well enough. It was a good book, and I enjoyed reading it, but can't quite go as far as great.

The Pros: I liked both of the main characters. Both Finn and Justin had a lot of baggage and issues to work through and boy did it complicate things. The attraction between them shows up very early in the book but the groundwork of a history for it was set in well enough that it felt believable.
I liked the setting. It was a rather unique one in my reading experience and I appreciated it as a place and also as an added complication into an already complicated relationship.
I liked the concept of the issue that brought the characters together and fueled the plot. There was a lot of action and the tension stayed pretty ratcheted up throughout.
The sex scenes were pretty steamy and enjoyable.

The Cons: While I like the concept of the plot, for me... bits of it didn't quite hit where they needed to. It wasn't bad, just there was a -lot- going on in the book and I feel I could have stood to see parts of it drawn out or elaborated on a bit more.

Over all this was a solid and enjoyable read. I feel I might possibly have enjoyed it even more if I'd read more of the series and had the resulting extra knowledge of some of the side characters, but even as a standalone it was well worth reading.
