Becky Wade continues to astound me with her writing talent. I have always been a fan of her family based romance novels, and look forward in anticipation to each release. Falling for You is right up there with Undeniably Yours as one of my favorites.

Ms. Wade stepped out in faith when she started her Bradford Sisters Series adding suspense to her already artistically crafted romance. The suspense is more of a mystery. It reminded me of Agatha Christie, nothing dark, just enough mystery to keep you guessing.

Charlotte, Corbin's niece who asks for help in solving the mystery is sassy, and snarky. She's also somewhat of a matchmaker, and adds a ton of fun to the cast of characters.

We are reunited with family members from book one, True To You, as well as some crazy fans, which keeps the book lively and very entertaining.

My Bottom Line:

Ms. Wade has created her own niche` in romantic suspense, and I am a huge fan! Even with the romance and mystery thread, the faith thread is not missing. It is woven beautifully and gives hope and encouragement to the reader. Ms. Wade's mysterious thread is so good I wasn't exactly sure until later on which romance I was reading about, and I loved that!
Highly recommended!

this novel was amazing! it took a bit to get a full recap of what happened with characters in the previous novel (this is a series) but once i finally started remembering what happened i sailed through. the characters in this novel are pretty intriguing, they for sure keep your attention throughout the novel.

This is a book that I could just fall into, and feel a part of the world and story and characters. I love the author's subtle writing style that drew me in and allowed me to connect with Willow and Corbin without overwhelming me with description or repetition. Willow and Corbin both have big walls up that are slowly eroded when they are compelled to spend time together, helping Corbin's niece Charlotte solve a decades-old missing person mystery. Investigating the case, step by step, brought a steady pace to the book as Corbin also struggles with the inevitable death of his sick father and Willow deals with unwanted attention from fans and her own waning interest in modeling. There is a perfect balance between all the plot threads and the redevelopment of Willow and Corbin's friendship and romance. They share fun banter, even (especially) when they are at odds, their chemistry is crackling with passion, and their relationship develops greater depth as Corbin is determined to show Willow how devoted he is to her. Willow's sisters play an important role in her life and help her as she helps them. We even see a couple chapters from Britt's perspective as a lead-in to the next book, which I can't wait for! I love the spiritual themes that are woven in seamlessly of forgiveness and the importance of turning all our worries over to God and allowing him to guide our lives. Even though this is the second book in the series it can definitely be read as a standalone. Highly recommend!

Falling for You (2018) by Becky Wade is the second book in the Bradford Sisters Romance series. This book is set to release on May 1, 2018 through Bethany House Publishers. It will come in all forms including eBook, and is 368 pages in length. With a full-time job, a very busy six-year old, and being in the process of moving into a new house, this book took me three days to read. I received a review copy of this novel in eBook form from Bethany House via NetGalley. In no way has this influenced my opinion of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are my own. I give this book 5+++ STARS. Falling for You is a Contemporary Christian Romance.

The reader first meets Willow in True To You, book 1 of the Bradford Sisters Romance series. There is a party scene in True To You where Willow and Corbin see each other for the first time since their breakup four years prior. Clearly, the breakup did not go well because the tension between Willow and Corbin at this party is palpable. I can remember thinking, “How is Mrs. Wade going to pull off a love story between these two characters when their mutual dislike is so apparent?” The answer to my question is simple. The author will force them into a situation where they have to solve a missing persons cold case. BRILLIANT!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery aspect to this novel. For me, having Willow and Corbin work together to solve a cold case made for a more rich reading experience. I loved how they were forced to interact with one another, and I love how they naturally fell back into friendship and love.

Willow is my favorite character in Falling for You. She is lovely, and so perfectly crafted. I found myself really being able to relate to her. One thing Willow struggles with is the notion that as the eldest sibling she must always be the perfect, infallible example of a strong Christian woman. Mistakes are not an option and rules must always be followed to a T. No human on earth, except for Jesus, can be perfect and infallible. It’s just not possible. But, when this expectation is thrust upon you from birth, you tend to internalize this idea of perfection and a voice in your head screams at you daily that if you make a mistake you are the lowest form of human and you have just let down your parents, teachers, friends, neighbors, community, the President of every nation, and God. It’s a tough thing being the first born in a family. There are just so many expectations placed on us. I easily relate to Willow when she discusses being the oldest sister, being the role model, looking perfect for everyone so no one is disappointed. I also relate to Willow’s desire to want to hide things about herself from those she loves. I often want to hide the mistakes I make because the idea of disappointing my mom, my brothers, my husband, my daughter, my friends, or God still kills my soul to this day. The struggle is real for us first-born kiddos!!! LOL!

Another aspect that I LOVED about this book is its fantastic message on forgiveness. The notion of forgiveness — especially self-forgiveness — is very difficult for Willow (and for me). Logically, forgiveness makes sense, but emotionally it tends to be a rather foreign concept. In Sunday school and church, the idea of forgiveness is easy. But in real life, when the heart hurts, it’s really hard to overcome those hurt feelings and the insecurities caused by those hurt feelings in order to forgive. For true healing to occur though it is paramount that we get to that place where we can forgive on the emotional/heart level. Otherwise, the bad feelings never go away. The only way I have ever been able to conquer the hurt and forgive properly — whether it’s forgiving someone else or myself — is by going to God first. God gives us the power to forgive for real!

There are like 700 more amazing things to discuss about this story. But, I don’t want to ruin a second for any future readers. Suffice it to say, I absolutely adored Falling for You, and I am SO sad my time with this book is over. This is a story that will stick with me for a long while. If you are looking for a wonderfully written, highly engaging, and fast-paced story than I highly recommend Falling for You. Run to your nearest bookstore on May 1 and pick up a copy of this stellar novel. You won’t want to miss this one.

In this second book of the Bradford Sisters Trilogy, we get a solid look into oldest daughter Willow's life. A famous and successful model, she is currently taking a little time off from her busy career to run her family's B&B in her hometown of Merryweather, Washington. For Willow, it feels good to help out the family and take a step back from her hectic life. But she never expected her old flame Corbin Stewart to be back in town as well, much less for them to be thrown together in solving a missing persons case that went cold many years ago. As Corbin and Willow work together, they must confront the mistakes they made four years ago and learn the true meaning of forgiveness and redemption.

As usual, author Becky Wade writes an incredible story, drawing the reader in right from the very beginning and keeping us interested with every page! Her characters are well developed and realistic but lovable, her mystery storyline is well developed and paced, and one of these two chicks' favorite things - the romance! - sizzles with chemistry! But the faith aspect is where this story really shines. Author Becky drives home the importance of purity, she explains the gospel beautifully and brings about much redemption in several characters' lives, including some incredible forgiveness.

We cannot wait for the final book in this trilogy to conclude youngest sister Britt's story. Thank you to Becky Wade for giving us a good, solid read!

Becky Wade’s latest, Falling For You, perfectly fits that bill. This novel builds on her list of strong family based novels, but with the fun of a world-class model and an injured professional football quarterback. I could relate to Willow so much! The oldest daughter who has (almost) always been perfect, and can’t confront or forget or forgive the time she wasn’t. And that has become an insurmountable mountain separating her from Corbin. Then a young girl asks for her help untangling a decades old mystery, and Willow’s walls begin to crumble. As they do, she has to wrestle with who she is and who she wants to be. Toe-curling romance wrapped inside a novel that is so much more!

There is just so much to enjoy with this multifaceted story. Exciting characters, that seem so real, I felt like I was part of their family, a mystery to solve, and even some crazy fans that will have you turning on the outside lights and checking your doors to make sure they are locked! You won't want to miss this latest story in the Bradford Sister's Romance series!

Willow Bradford is the oldest of three sisters. She does her best to be good and do what is expected. But when she met Corbin Stewart four years ago, things didn't go according to her neat and tidy plans. Now he's back in her circle of friends, and circumstances have brought them together to solve a missing-persons case. Has there been too much hurt and mistrust for them to trust each other enough to share their hearts again?

With lively characters and a mystery that will keep you on your toes, you won't want to put this engaging story down for a moment! I laughed out loud at several scenes, my heart felt heavy for Joe. There are just so many emotions! I have loved reading this series and I can't wait to read Britt's story!

Falling for You by Becky Wade is the second book in her “Bradford Sisters Romance” series, following True to You. Falling for You works just fine as a stand-alone, however if you want some bonus background information on the characters, be aware that the heroine is the sister of the heroine in True to You and the hero is best friends with the hero from Becky Wade’s “Porter Family” series book 4, Her One and Only.

This book picks up following the story of the eldest Bradford sister, Willow. She had dated Corbin previously and things ended badly, but due to his niece being a fan of Willow, the two of them end up as partners in the solving of a mystery that’s buried by years of family secrets.

I liked this book better than I liked the first one of this series, but it still doesn’t hold a candle (for me anyway) to the “Porter Family” series. The fact that Willow and Corbin had somewhat of a pre-existing relationship definitely added tension and made things interesting, and I enjoyed watching them grow and reconcile and learn to forgive and compromise. The mystery aspect of the novel was gripping yet seemed somehow out of place in this book. I can’t quite put my finger on how; it just seemed a little drastic or dark for what would have otherwise been a sweet romance novel of reconciliation. I would still recommend this novel and hope this series continues to improve. You can count on me giving anything by Becky Wade a shot :).

Readers met Willow and (to a briefer extent) Corbin in True to You. We got enough of a taste to know we wanted more of their story, and that wish is granted in Falling for You.
Both successful, Corbin and Willow seem to be a good match. And they were…for a few months. But when things fell apart, so did their amiability.

Now Corbin’s niece has finagled both of them to help her in solving a family mystery, which means spending time together. As the two do their best to remain aloof from the other while avoiding the past, circumstances bring to the surface the things they liked best about each other while they were together.

A second chance romance with two likable characters—more so as details of their tumultuous past are revealed—Falling for You introduces a new romance with some familiar faces. Wade once again delivers the complications of romance with the nuances of family (how much do you love these sisters?).

How long until we get Britt and Zander’s story cause I want to hang out again!

Becky Wade is now one of my new favorite authors! Falling For You grabbed my attention from the first page and held it until the last. I loved the story line between Corbin and Willow but I was also fascinated with the family mystery, Brett and Zander and even Joe's battle. I couldn't put the book down...until I got to the last chapter. Then I wanted to slow down and savor all that Falling for You had to offer in its last few pages. 5 stars isn't enough for this book. It's a 10 in my book!

Get ready to be captured by a decades-old missing persons case mixed with a sweet, brewing romance in Becky Wade's Falling for You!

Willow Bradford is a model but decided to take a break from her schedule to work as an innkeeper at her family's bed-and-breakfast. While she is working at the B&B, she runs into Corbin Stewart, a former NFL player, who Willow hates because of their past romantic relationship.

Spunky, twelve-year-old Charlotte learns about a decades-old missing persons case and convinces Willow and Corbin to help her solve the case. The mystery element is woven perfectly through the story. As the group works together to try and solve the mystery, Willow and Corbin are forced to confront their past.

Wade wove this story together perfectly with the right balance of romance, tension, and mystery and wrote a book I did not want to put down!

Typically, I don't care for books that are suspenseful with a lot of romance because I want to focus on the mystery. In Falling for You, I LOVED the romantic aspect of this story as much as I did in solving the mystery. Corbin was a character in this book and took Willow by surprise. As their relationship developed, I found myself connecting more and more with them. Wade transported me right into the pages of this book and left me profoundly anticipating whatever she writes next.

Following on from True To You (read my review here), Falling For You picks up the threads of the relationship between Willow and Corbin. Nora and John, the focus of True To You, pop up but aren’t a large part of the story. Corbin’s niece, Charlotte, begs him to allow her to talk to her role model, Willow, about her missing great-aunt. Corbin and Willow are coerced by the wily girl into working with her to solve the mystery and inevitably end up revisiting their own past.

Unlike the first novel, this one keeps a cracking pace! I loved it from page one! Lines like “She hadn’t set foot outside her car, and already, his home was seducing her the way cream seduced cats.” are beautiful and made me smile! It’s full of humour, heart and intrigue. I so enjoyed Willow’s determination and Corbin’s persistence, they are a great duo and the story took several unexpected paths which made it even more delightful! Faith is wrapped in and around each element and the characters reflect back on the journey in informative and inspiring ways such as “She was determined to live her life in sync with God from now on. So if God was ready to do a new thing in her life, then she needed to collect her bravery and embrace change.”

I highly recommend this book, it’s predecessor and am eagerly awaiting book number three! Five out of five for this one!

Corbin Stewart, who was an NFL star until a shoulder injury ruined his career, has moved to Washington to be near family and to heal his shoulder. He isn't planning on running to his ex,
Willow Bradford, but she's running her parents' inn while taking a break from her modeling career. When Corbin's niece Charlotte insists that she has a secret she can only tell Willow, Corbin reluctantly reaches out to the woman who broke his heart. Willow doesn't want anything to do with Corbin--he shattered her world years ago and she is determined not to let him close again. But they work with Charlotte to find Charlotte's long-missing great-aunt, Willow must face the past and decide if there's any chance for them in the future.

I loved the layers and depth of this story--it's so much more than just a romance. There are important (but not preachy) messages about forgiving others and oneself as well as receiving forgiveness from God. I love the fact that the characters flawed people who are trying to do their best, not all "perfect" Christians. The characters are realistic--both Willow and Corbin have solid, deep reasons for who they are, their fears and shortcoming, and the choices they've made. The story about Charlotte's aunt and Corbin, Willow, and Charlotte's efforts to figure out what happened to her was interesting and unexpected--it was a fresh plot line for a Christian novel. There are so many things to like about this book!
While this is part of a series, the book don't have to be read in order. (I actually have read the prequel novella but haven't read the first book yet.)
This is one of my top picks for 2018.

I read a copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Falling for You by Becky Wade is the second story in The Bradford Sisters series. It can be read as a stand alone novel. Willow Bradford has the perfect life as a model, but takes a break from her career to run a local inn. She runs into her old boyfirend and NFL football player, Corbin Stewart, who still carries feelings for her. Can both learn to forgive each other and build a future together? Like the previous Bradford book, Wade weaves into a mystery as a side story of a missing person case, and forces Willow and Corbin to work together. in my opinion, this side story feels more forced than a viable plot device. However, Wade shows that mistakes of the past can be forgotten when God's love enters their lives. The story of Corbin's father perfectly illustrates this, and adds depth to this novel.

I received a complimentary copy of this novel from the publisher (Bethany House) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

Falling For You is Becky Wade at her absolute best. I laughed, I cried, I was pulled into the story unfolding within the pages, and I was reminded once again why this lovely lady is one of my all time favorite authors.

I didn't think it would be possible for me to love Willow and Corbin's characters as much as I did John and Nora from True To You, but I was definitely proven wrong. While we were given glimpses of both characters in the last novel, there's so much more to them both than was initially hinted at, and their second chance romance was beautiful, heartwarming, and deeply moving.

I've always enjoyed the fact that Becky chooses to write about characters that aren't perfect, and that's once again the case with Falling For You. Willow Bradford has taken a leave of absence from her successful modelling career, and she's enjoying running her parent's lovely bed and breakfast. However, the last person she expected to ever run in to in her hometown is that of her ex, former NFL player Corbin Stewart-the only man who's ever truly held her heart. Her determination to avoid him is sidetracked when his adorable, spunky twelve year old "niece" Charlotte enlists both Willow and Corbin's help to solve a missing persons case of a relative she never had the chance to meet. Suddenly, Willow and Corbin are forced to spend large amounts of time together, and both find themselves falling hard and fast. However, they'll both come to realize that their relationship can never have a future, if at first they don't resolve the past hurts from the events that ultimately led to their breakup.

Falling for You emphasizes the fact that as Christians we all face struggles, and unless we're willing to truly turn these over to our Heavenly Father once and for always, they'll continue to eat at us. It was especially interesting to see how this was focused on both from Willow's perspective, who grew up Christian, and from Corbin, who's a relatively new Christian. The faith element is also abundant in the the fact that Corbin is trying to encourage his father to come to Christ, and the reader is shown the way that he struggles with convincing his father to do so when there's many things he himself can't explain.

Once again, I really enjoyed the focus on the sisterly love that exists between Willow, Nora and Britt, and the way that the developing mystery also focuses heavily on the familial unit. Not only has Becky Wade become a master of writing beautiful contemporary Christian romances, but this book also proves that she's mastered the suspense mystery genre as well, and I'm very close to saying this might just be my new favorite by her. Of course, with a Becky Wade book the reader expects some humor thrown in for good measure, and we're definitely not disappointed on this front. Willow and Corbin's interactions are hilarious, as always Grandma and her cynical ways never fail to make me laugh, and many moments of this book had me outright laughing, especially the scene where Grandma is giving her opinions on the way a man should dress.

The Christian market needs more books like this one, and I can't recommend it enough. It gets a perfect five star rating from me, and I already can't wait for the third book in the series to release. I highly recommend picking this one up guys! As this is a release you definitely don't want to miss out on!

Thanks so much to Bethany House and NetGalley for providing me with a complimentary copy of this one for review!

This book is a FIVE star book!
I started reading it and just could NOT stop! (Yeah, um, it went kind of late last night, so I’ll just have to deal with my tiredness today…)
What first caught my attention was the gorgeous cover. In my mind, Becky Wade’s books all have some of the most eye-catching covers. They make me want to read them right away.
But it does take more than a beautiful cover to keep me up at night.
For me, it was the characters. And the very real issues they faced. Beautiful model Willow is all that you’d want in a heroine. And then there’s Corbin, who’s none too shabby…

The author slowly brings in the back story, the details of what went wrong between them. Slowly, and yet, it’s just the right tempo.

And, another thing that I really loved about this book–an old mystery that needs to be solved–such an intriguing story line!

Becky Wade has such talent when it comes to crafting stories that draw you in and leave you wanting more.
Forgiveness. Finding the way to deal with difficult things, mostly by facing them head on and working through them, rather than ignoring them or trying to find a way around them. These are only a few of the issues that challenged me.

I trust there will be a third book in this series. Because I can’t bear to think of leaving this family hanging here…

I think this book is probably my favorite fiction book I’ve read yet this year!

I have enjoyed all of Becky Wade's books so far and this one is no different. I know model and football star is cliche but that is how they got together so that part does not bother me. I love all the characters and all their imperfectness. The follow up of the first sister's story and the lead in to the next sister's story keep me coming back for more. The added bit of the longtime mystery adds an extra touch that I enjoyed. I wish it was cleaned up a little better (because we all want people to pay for their crimesC). All in all I loved it and read it in two days!

What a fun story. I did think the internal thoughts of the main characters got a little repetitive and longwinded near the end, but overall I really enjoyed it.
