Although written primarily for and about United Methodist Ministers in America, this book has many applications for those beyond this denomination and country.

Much of the book is common sense, backed up by thorough research. It is also very hands-on, weaving real life examples and practical tips throughout the text. The collaboration of two authors brings unique perspectives to the subjects they explore. It is a useful book not only for pastors and lay leaders but also for those in their congregations, and in oversight roles. I hope that this book will be a useful tool and healing balm for many church leaders who are struggling in their role.
