She's eighteen, a "good", hardworking and academically bright student at the same school as his sons and she gets the job..... but will he be able to resist the attraction between them? Well, the answer to that is definitely not. This is a hot, very steamy romance with a much older man and a teen who is a similar age to his children. As a Mum with a daughter, that seemed so wrong but if you enjoy this troupe, you'll probably love this story. I liked the development of the relationship between her and his sons and how he is influenced to change his attitude by her.

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.

This is exactly what it sets out to be, a hot quick read. There is a quick plot and the characters are pretty quickly established. I did enjoy it!

this was such a hot fantastic read and I'm definitely a fan! K Webster is known for writing some kinky stuff that is hot for those who like taboo reads. I would recommend to tread with caution if you're a first time reader and have an open mind about her characters!

I had never read a book by this author before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I enjoyed the book and thought the characters were well written.

Look no further for a hot and steamy read. K is known for giving us the taboo, sex, bit of angst and quick love. This one is definitely not short on that. A virgin high school tutor turned babysitter. A experienced, hot and virile professional man.

I was looking for a quick read and remembered this one. I've loved some of the other books by this author, so I gave it a shot.

I did not know there was going to be such a huge age difference between the h/H. The h is 18 and H is 43....ummm....yeah. But guess what it worked. I know, I know, shameful!

The books in this series written by various authors are meant to be quick romantic/erotic stories that can be read in an hour or two. This is what I was looking for at the moment.

I really liked the storyline. Quinn is divorced, running a lucrative business, and raising his twin teenage boys. He comes to the conclusion he needs help so hires a "babysitter". Ava was quite mature for her age I must say. She had her goals set and was focused.....until Quinn came into the picture!

Very quick read, but some seriously HOT sex scenes!!

Short and HOT! This book fits right in with the rest of the Taboo Treat world. I was not disappointed. At. All. Of course, I knew I wouldn’t be. This is a must read book from a from a must read series from an absolutely MUST READ author!! Every book in this series can be read in any order, and as standalones.

As soon as I saw that Mr. Blakely was one of K. Webster’s books, I wanted to read it! I love her little Taboo Treats and each book only makes me love them more and Mr. Blakelywas no different. My mind was a bit restless when I was finally able to settle in and read it, but it wasn’t too long before it had my full attention. Mr. Blakely was just excellent and I positively loved it.

I read Ex-Rated Attraction before this and I was so hoping that Ava would get her own book and I can’t tell you how excited I was when I realized that this was her story! I love Ava, she’s very smart, she’s a hard worker and she’s unbelievably sweet. She’s so sweet that I was a little surprised about how she is when she’s alone with Quinn, but when I really thought about it after, I wasn’t surprised one bit. After all, it’s the quiet, good girls you have to watch out for. 

And Quinn — that man is an alpha with a capital A! He’s strict and gruff and dominating. He can be hard and serious, but Ava brings out his warm, sweet side. All Quinn wants to do is be a good father and take care of Ava. He’s so wonderful and I absolutely loved him! 

Mr. Blakely might be a quick read, but it’s full of love, sweetness, and naughty good times. I just loved reading it, it was so fun with some heart pounding, heart melting moments. I think I said it before after I read Ex-Rated Attraction, but I can’t wait to read more of these Taboo Treats — they’re just so fantastic — I will never get enough! 

Mr. Blakely is a standalone, it’s told from Quinn and Ava’s POV, and their happily-ever-after ending had me grinning from ear to ear!

Mr. Blakely is a new short story/novella offering from K Webster and for those who like something steamy, you won't be disappointed. I have read a lot of K Webster's books and admit she is definitely a favourite of mine. For me I know when I pick up one of her books I'll be in for a good ride, whether its one of her new adult fictions or something hot and saucy like Mr. Blakely.

Designed to be read in an hour or so, these short novellas pack a nice punch. The long drawn out scenes are condensed but not in a way you feel the story is being sacrificed. Mr Blakely took me around an hour to read and I literally loved it. I am not the biggest fan of short stories and openly admit that in those I've reviewed before, but K Webster has got just the right amount of story and intimate moments in this book. I didn't feel over shadowed by the hot scenes like with some authors. In fact, I felt like I had a good grasp of the dynamics of Quinn and his sons and how much be needed Ava in his life. 

Unlike with many older man/younger girl stories I also was glad there wasn't the constant 'daddy'/'little girl' stuff. Which if I'm honesty can be a bit 'weird' and off putting sometimes in these books. Ava was legal and she didn't come across as too immature. In fact I would say she was exceptionally grown for her age and it was her innocence that gave her that younger edge. Also, Quinn didn't come across as a dirty old man! I found him attractive, appealing and could see how these two had forged a relationship. Even if it does hint on the taboo side of things. 

Over all, I really enjoyed Mr Blakely. For those who love a short/novella with a hot couple and a slightly taboo subject (Plus K Webster's writing style as that's brilliant anyway) then you need to check this book out. The only reason this is a 3.5 star read for me is simply because novellas aren't my thing and I picked this up without reading the synopsis.

I found the writing well done, the storyline entertaining and the chemistry between Quinn and Ava was smoking!
I truly was captured with their romance and the epilogue had me smiling like a fool.
Overall a very steamy and entertaining read and I highly recommend it.

This was an older divorce alpha male with two teenage boys in need of a babysitter. Enter 18 year old women about to graduate looking to earn money for a School Trip. Attraction was fast and hot I couldn’t put this book done until I finished it. Loved it.

Oh man... I had a love hate thing going on with this book! I’m all for daddy kink. Even Daddy/little play. But in the beginning... it felt a little weird. The way he talked to her and disciplined her. Like she was one of his kids. It irks me a little bit. Don’t get me wrong... I’m all for the taboo/forbiddeness of it all.

But... I felt she was a little naïve in certain situations. And this one part...It didn't feel like Daddy/little play. Or an older man being with a younger women. He took the role as her father there.
The mother in me was like....Ughhh! Associating his sons and her on the same level just seemed kinda wrong. Not sexy at all.

“I spank her hard and fast. Three times. That was always how many I’d spank the boys when they’d done something rotten when they were younger. Anything more, in my eyes, felt like abuse. Three was enough to get the painful point across. A loud, horrified wail rips from Ava, effectively breaking my heart in the process. Her ass smarts with three crimson stripes. It’s beautiful and sad all at once.”

But... I moved past that! lol

And that was really the only time I felt like that. I pretty much loved how he showed her how much he wanted her. The sex felt forbidden and exciting! He showed her a whole new world. She let herself be free with him. And she let Quinn be his freaky self! They worked together. I loved how she brought him and his sons together. And they welcomed her into their family.

This was a nice read. I’m definitely hooked on these books!

Mr. Blakely is a hot number that will make you hunger for some alpha dominance. Devouring every words in minutes and oh so drooling overheat of it all! HOT!!!!!

If you read K. Webster you know her style. She has characters that push your personal boundaries, there's insta-love, there's insta-chemistry and insta-sex. It's smut and a little taboo. I think we all enjoy a little dose of that every now and then.
