K. Webster's stories are just plain fun. They are HOT and short. I was hooked from page 1. Good overall writing.

I’ve not read anything by this author before but the blurb for this book really caught my attention and didn’t let go. I’m glad it did as this was one fantastic book that I absolutely enjoyed right from the beginning and had me totally hooked the whole way through the story. The characters are amazing and they are likeable and relatable that had me turning the pages as quick as I could. The storyline and the romance is just right for this story and I would totally recommend this book to everyone

If the heroine had been 21 instead of 18, it would've been so much better. Or should I say I would've liked it better. There were definitely some 'icky' moments where I felt the hero (Quinn Blakely) was taking advantage of the heroine's (18 year old Ava--and still in high school!) innocence.
Can't deny there were some hot moments though...

I recently discovered The Dirty Bits from Carina Press, which are quick reads that will draw you in and give you the happily ever after we look for. In Mr. Blakely by K. Webster we get a forbidden love story that is sexy and sweet.

Ava Prince is an eighteen-year-old high school senior working hard to get into college with scholarships and being able to travel to Paris with her class. She is very dedicated and determined to succeed, but she also needs a job to save money. An unexpected opportunity comes her way when friends recommend her to Mr. Blakely.

Quinn Blakely is trying to survive after his wife leaves him and their teenage sons. Trying to keep up with the needs of his business and children is leaving him exhausted. He hires Ava to help take care of his sons, tutor them and chauffeur them around. What he did not expect is the affect the young and innocent Ava would have on him.

Ava is attracted to Quinn, despite the age difference. They try and stay away from each other, but every time they are together, the chemistry is intense, and sparks fly. Soon they find themselves not able to keep their hands off each other.

This is a quick and very sexy read with a forbidden attraction, full of chemistry and a good story. I found myself just turning the pages and enjoying the book.

Man, this brought me back to my high school days when I babysat for hot dads. Unfortunately, my experiences were not the same as Ava’s!! Mr.Blakely is one hot daddy!! I love that this author has intertwined a town of people together and they are all naughty and taboo! Nothing hotter than that! This book was hot, but more sweet than some of this author’s other books. i enjoyed every shouldering page!!

Quinn Blakely is feeling overwhelmed since his wife has left him with his hours at his company and taking care of two teenage boys. When he decides maybe hiring someone to help with tutoring the boys and running them to their activities, he figures Ava seems to have it pretty together and can follow his rules. Little did he know that Ava would find ways to get under his skin and tempt him to break his own rules.

“Ava seems the type to submit to my controlling ways. To like being told what to do. To offer her sweet little ass when she messes up so I can punish her for being naughty.”

What a naughty bit of fun! Ava thinks she’s being hired to tutor some elementary or middle school boys but little does she realize there’s so much more to this job. So much sexual tension sizzles between Mr. Blakely and Ava as she ends up staying at Quinn’s house more than her own. You can just feel Quinn fighting to hold back but there’s no way he can keep himself from sweet, innocent Ava. I was actually ready to for the steaminess to commence! And I was NOT disappointed. A little bit taboo but a whole lot of sexy romance. A quick read that really satisfies…if you know what I mean.

Sometimes I’m looking for something short and yummy to read in bed and this book right here is exactly the kind I search for. It gets into the story right away and you just don’t want to put it down. It reminds me of chocolate. Sweet, delicious, sinful and fully satisfying.

K. Webster is one of my favorite authors, and I make it my mission to try to read everything she writes. One of the reasons I love her so much is because once I pick up her books, I don't want to put them down! This time was no different!

Quinn Blakely is a successful business man that finds himself raising his twin boys alone after their mother leaves them all to follow her dreams of becoming an actress. He loves his children dearly and is happy to have full custody of them, but it isn't possible for him to be there for them 24/7 with his career.  He needs a babysitter to help take care of them in his absence. 

Ava is a smart, goal-oriented, 18 year old trying her best to do well in school in order to get the scholarships she needs to attend college. She also really wants to attend her school trip to Paris. With her mother's job only just covering the bills, she has to come up with the money on her own if she wants to make it there. When the opportunity arises to make some extra cash working for Quinn, she jumps on it. 

Quinn, a forty something year old man, never expected to be attracted to his barely legal babysitter, but he is instantly. More than that, he never expected her to be attracted to him, but he was wrong on that front, too. Ava wants whatever special attention Quinn wants to give her, and he wants to give her a lot. 

They are in such different places in their lives, and Ava is still incredibly innocent. She's only a little older than his children, and they go to the same high school. To makes matters worse, Quinn wants more from Ava than just her body. He wants everything. Is a relationship between them destined to fail?

Mr. Blakely is a smutty, taboo romance that is exactly what you would expect it to be from the blurb: quick, hot, and over the top! If an innocent virgin with a much older/experienced and dominant man makes you cringe, don't even attempt this one. However, if romances with older men and very young women are your thing or the blurb appeals to you, one-click away!

Oh my! This is an adorable short taboo love story! It’s really a twist on an insta-love story so there is not too much depth to the characters, but it was a satisfying short story.
Mr. Blakey has hired Ava (a senior in high school) to watch his twin boys who are only 15. He is a tad over protective after his wife left him and he quickly becomes more than just a boss for Ava. This was a steamy read that made me see past their age gap.

Another short and sexy read by K. Webster. I have to say I'm truly enjoying these little gems and they give a great respite to the more heavier reads.

Quinn and Ava are employer and nanny. And holy smokes, right from the start there are sparks flying between the 40 something and the virginal 18 year old. I'm so glad the age difference didn't stop either of them from exploring more with the other and soon they have a love, albeit a bit unconventional but still very much believable.

There was real heart in this one as both Ava and Quinn grapple with their feelings for the other knowing the world wouldn't understand any of it. But with his sons on board and some good friends giving them the green light, these two find the rare kind of love that is destined to last forever. With a bit of humor sprinkled in, Mr. Blakely is a great little sexy read for a lazy afternoon.

4 solid stars and the best yet in this genre from the author!

Quinn Blakely isn't really happy about where he is in his life. His wife cheated on him and left him to be an actress in Hollywood. He's a strict single father raising two teenage boys. He's man enough to see he needs help with the boys.

When he hires the babysitter, he is immediately taken with her subtle beauty. He finds out she's eighteen, just a few years older than his boys. He shouldn't want her, but he does with every fiber of his being.

I love these taboo quick reads Ms. Webster keeps pumping out. They are the perfect length, super sexy, and steamy for a good night read. I love seeing glimpses of characters from past taboo reads. I can't wait to see what she thinks up next!

Oh, these Dirty Bits books are super hot, super naughty, and though short, are super satisfying!

I have no issue with May to December romances, but Ms. Webster certainly amps up the naughty, to a point where one wonders whether maybe it is just a bit too much. But there is plenty of freedom and choice is never removed, so I just enjoyed the ride. For a short story there is plenty of development of the key players and an ending which ensures that everything is resolved.

Can't wait to see what other limits will be pushed in future installments.

This is a great, short, taboo read. Mr. Blakely is unhappy with his life and is trying to find equal footing again after his wife leaves him and his two sons for her acting career. Despite being slightly bitter in the beginning, when he meets his new nanny, he perks right up.

Despite the age difference, Mr. Blakely cannot help himself. He's drawn to her and she to him. They don't have outstanding chemistry, but they have a hot dynamic with a little kink thrown in for good measure.

I loved watching their relationship develop and to see her with his boys too. It was a great short story with steam, love, romance, and family all wrapped together.

Quinn Blakely is a 43-year-old successful businessman and recently divorced. He is trying to juggle his business and two sons and finally realizes he needs help. He needs a nanny, someone to help get the boys to school, to their practices, tutor them, and get them to bed on time. Quinn is strict with the boys, but it is the only way for them to understand that good grades and discipline will help them go far in life. When he invites Ava to work for him, he realizes that she is still in high school and she may not be what he needs. But he can't help the attraction he feels towards her. When Ava assures him that she can do the job and that she is 18 years old, Quinn feels he has to at least give her a chance because he has no one else and he needs someone tonight.

Ava Prince has her plans laid out, she studies all the time because she wants to get into a good college. She tutors and does other small jobs to make money because she wants to go to Paris on the class trip. When Mr. Blakely contacts her about a job, she thinks it is some type of office work and tutoring. She doesn't know a thing about babysitting. But the Blakely boys are 14 years old and go to the same school she goes to. When she first sees Mr. Blakely, she is struck speechless, he is HOT. Even though he has a little gray in his hair, he is still hot and she is drawn to him.

Will Quinn act on his feelings towards Ava? Will Ava let him know that she is attracted to him? What will happen when the boys find out?

I really enjoyed this story, it is a hot and sexy, quick read. If you like the older man/younger woman taboo story, then this one is for you.

This is marketed as a short, 2 hour, dirty bit, read. And this is exactly what it was. Was it realistic? Nope. But, was it a quick, hot and sexy read? Yes, yes it was.

And, here is the thing. Do I actually believe a man in his 40's can get, and stay, involved in a successful relationship with a woman who is 18 when they get together? Meh. I am not sure I think it is likely, but you never know.

That said, this book essentially tells you at the beginning that it is quick and dirty...and knowing that, am I willing to believe that Mr. Blakely (Quinn) and Ava are going to be able to make this work. Is it realistic? Probably not. But, one of the things that makes it easier to believe is a lot of the society pressures, the "you are dating someone who is HOW old???" conversations don't happen. Quinn never really has to explain anything to anyone with issues and his kids don't seem all that concerned either.

Again; realistic? Nope. Fun? Yup.

I recommend this title.

It started as a job. It turned into so much more. Mr Blakely is strict with his sons, but he is soft and gentle with me. The powerful businessman is something else entirely when we are together. Boss, teacher, lover....husband. My hopes and dreams for the future have changed. I want, no I need, him by my side.

Mr Blakely is another book in K. Webster's taboo world. I love stories about older mean and younger women. Meet Quinn and Ava and I guarantee if you have read other books in this taboo series you will recognize other characters too. Quinn is newly divorced and need help getting his twin sons two and from places along with tutoring. Ava is the perfect person to help him out and he is grateful for the recommendation from his best friend. When he finally lays eyes on Ava and she on Quinn the attraction is instant and you have one quick fun book to breed that your sure to love.

I'm all for May-December romances but this bordered on pedophilia for me: 40 year old Dad "falls in love" with a (barely) legal 18 year old High School Senior.....that is babysitting his sons. This was a big NOPE for me.

Sizzle and snap, I wasn’t paying attention and had no idea what I was in for when I started this saucy little story, oh, my! Mr. Blakely was a freshly betrayed and divorced father of teenaged twin boys and in dire need of domestic help. His sons were not adapting as well as he had hoped and were in need of tutoring as well as attention and supervision after school and in the evenings while he was working late at his business or wooing clients. He was given Ava’s name and number and told she was a smart and helpful tutor, and the lovely young woman named Ava was hired to do just that the same day. A lovely young woman that stirred something deep and impossible as she was sweet and kind and an innocent eighteen-year-old high school senior and he was… significantly older than that, like twenty-five years older than that.
Given the common porno premise, I was bracing myself for cheesy or creepy, thankfully, it wasn’t. Other than a few cringe-worthy scenes this was actually a sweet and thoughtful romance with lots of naughty bits and a little bit of high school drama. There was an interesting and engaging plot with supportive relationships established among all the characters after a bit of a rocky start. Ava took good care of his sons and succeeded where Mr. Blakely could not as they improved in school as well as in their family interactions. She studied French and was working toward saving for a trip to France, he softly spoke French endearments to her, bought her gifts including a car to ferry his sons home from school, and other trinkets, as she was always on his mind, as he was on hers. Mr. Blakely took special care of Ava, much better than her own family had, and after hours he tutored her in all manner of adult culinary games like hiding the sausage, finding the pearl, and tickle the pickle. And it worked out very well for them, very well indeed.

I was so excited to read this, I wanted something hot and fast paced!For me this book wasn't as hot as I expected and I was a little bit disappointed because I have read other books from this author and they were better! Also I liked Quinn and Ava but their relationship didn’t grow much outside the sexual attraction and this make the story simply ok for me.

Mr. Blakely is a very enjoyable, steamy, quick read romance. An engaging, well written book that offers an older man/ younger woman plot. Characters are complex and I enjoyed the duel P.O.V. that gives you a much more in-depth story. A romance that is part taboo, part naughty, a bit sweet, a bit tender and a lot steamy. I loved Quinn an Ava as a couple. besides the hot chemistry they shared, I just felt that they were perfect for each other. Quinn is a very alpha, dominate male and it should be noted that there is some mild spanking in the book (so, If that's an issue for you might want to pass on this book). I am happy to say I loved this book and I highly recommend it to readers looking for shorter reads, books with quite a bit of steam and fans of the younger woman/older man trope. I'm posting an honest, voluntary review after reading an advance copy of this book.

This was a hot sexy taboo read about Ava and Quinn. The sexy times were super hot and so deliciously naughty. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this hot sizzling read. Love this addition to this sexy naughty series. Can't wait to read more by K. Webster.

There's no denying: i love books by K Webster. Her Carina Press lineup is very different from her regular lineup - they [Carina Press] always boast of a happy ending. Needless to say that Mr. Blakely is exactly that - a little bit of sugar, a little bit of spice and happy endings. I enjoyed it. I liked the dynamic that existed between Ava and Quinn, how they worked well together and the undeniable chemistry between them.

It's the babysitter/boss type of story that, yes, Ava is at her last year in high school and 18 (so no illegal type of nonsense), and for me, it was totally fine. The older man/younger woman stories, when done well, are quite intriguing. Seriously though, if you think about it, the current tendency of our society finds more women are attracted to older men, and hell, why not!??!?! K Webster weaved a story that was adorable, yes, i'm saying adorable, and done quickly since it's a novella, but done well because i finished it quite quickly (don't look at my time line of reading since they're never 100% accurate since i have a tendency of forgetting to update it at times) and wanted more.

At the same time, as adorable as this book was, i really do look forward to what K Webster does best - writing the taboo stories that so many are afraid of penning and pushing the boundaries. But as a whole, Mr. Blakely is a great in between two books to help you get over your last book hangover!

I am giving this half a star. This the story of Quinn Blakely and Ava Prince. Quinn has gone through a divorce and is having trouble managing his business and fatherly duties. He needed to hire a nanny to help his 15-year old twin boys. Ava Prince was recommended. She is to help with transporting the boys to sports games and practices, with tutoring with school work, and cooking.

I am all about taboo erotic stories, but this one was not for me. I am not really into huge age differences between the characters. He is 25 years older than her, so that factor alone turned me off. Ava was 3 years older than his sons.

Quinn screamed of going through a mid-life crisis. He was not thinking right. He was lusting after an 18-year old girl. He had gone through a divorce so his mind was off. And he knew this since he called himself a "sick f..k". He tried to come to his right mind a few times in the story, but he let his libido control him. The fist description that Quinn had of Ava was that she reminded him of a child's doll with smooth porcelain skin. That weirded me out.

He did not come off a strong, alpha male. He could not control a grown woman so he was happy to get his hands on a young girl who did not know any better. I felt he took advantage of Ava. She was weak-willed. She did not know what she wanted. She just attracted to an older man. She was flattered. He could not even give her a proper ride for her first sexual experience. I only have two words to describe him--MINUTE MAN.

These characters were in 2 different stages in life. She cried over making an 89 on a test. This was a huge sign that this man should not be with this little girl. She was upset and crying about not making the grade she wanted. That was her biggest concern. His biggest concern was taking care of his kids and balancing his work and personal lives after a divorce. Those are 2 different levels of distress.

The ending put the nail in the coffin for me. Everyone was accepting of this unacceptable arrangement. He mom, even though she was not there a lot, had some type of sense to know that he was 43 and she was 18. His sons were so accepting of a girl who had more in common with them than their dad basically being their new mom. And she ends up pregnant. I was so done. I would definitely not recommend this. I did not get this at all from the description of the story. If I did then I would not have picked it to read.
