Ahhhh...Mr. Blakely did my taboo/smut loving heart good and gave me one hell of surprise when I finally figured out where I’d met some of the characters previously.

(The FINALLY came in the epilogue *rolling my eyes at myself* I think I read too many books *smirk*).

But, I really enjoyed Mr. Blakely and Ava. Mr. Blakely is all kinds of Alpha AF male who comes across as a huge disciplinarian, but is a little more soft and bendy underneath all the sternness. Ava is hardworking and determined to achieve the goals she has set for herself. There is an aura of naivete about her, but she isn’t totally clueless.

As for their romance. Older man/younger girl (she is 18) & boss/employee. And while the attraction was insta, things took a little while to develop, but as this is a quick read, it didn’t take that long for them to act on their impulses and talk about going all kinds of Alpha AF. The funny thing with them is that despite all of the reasons why they shouldn’t work, they did. They balanced each other out and I just really liked them together.

If you don’t know, or hadn’t guessed, I’m a fangirl, so I was more than happy to jump down the rabbit hole to get lost in this one. What I didn’t see coming were the connections to her other stories, one in particular had me going to GR to confirm it and I ended up giving myself a mental Gibbs slap for not figuring it out sooner, especially since I adored that particular story, and kinda had me wanting to do a re-read of it. So if you’re looking for a quick taboo read, then this is a must click!

A brilliant little Dirty Bit from K.Webster. I love these stories in the town she has created.

Ava and Quinn’s story was super hot, sweet and sexy. With a powerful businessman main character, an ‘older’ man with teenage twin boys. Just a couple of years younger than the girl he hires to ‘babysit’ and help out since she’s been left by his wife!

But the mutual attraction can not be denied. I loved these two together and expired this story from start to finish.

The cover for this book is spot-on, and fits the mould perfectly!

OMG this story is delicious, he is Delicious!!! Even at some point I thought his twins were delicious... Makes me wanna go back to being a student and start taking babysitting jobs. Just to learn from this guy. Quinn is so different from Ava but I love how attentive and protective and dirty and potty mouth he is. And I also love how his kids treat her. Everyone in that family appreciates Ava, and Quinn is a mature man who is not afraid of the what ifs and doesn’t hide how he feels for her. He is possessive. But you will crave his kind of possession. She is a lucky girl but really because of her that is a very lucky family. The story is hot hot hot, you will devour it and want more. Just like I did.

Since this was such a short read I can’t say much but I’m going to try my best to convey my feelings even though they aren’t popular.

I thought Ava was a nice, sweet girl. She’s quiet. Mousy like but there’s a wild side to her that one wouldn’t expect. I wish I could say more about her but this book was short so we didn’t get to really know her.

Quinn is your ultimate alpha male. He wants complete control and I thought he was an asshole. I respected him for different reasons but I didn’t like him. That changed halfway through. He grew on me.

I wish we could’ve gotten to know them each individually a little more. I wanted more background and I know it couldn’t have been much but I felt like something was missing. I couldn’t connect with them like I usually do in all of K. Webster’s books.

I knew this was a short, taboo read when I started so I can’t really complain. I just know I have connected with K’s other Taboo Treats and I was disappointed I couldn’t with this one.

Like any K. Webster book I definitely recommend Mr. Blakely. It’s short, hot, sexy as hell and the perfect read to get you ready before bedtime. It might have missed the mark with me but please don’t let that discourage you.

Sexy yet sweet taboo story and again K webster knows just how to make us squirm! Quinn’s wife left to become a actress and now Quinn is trying to deal with his sons and being a business man. Quinn hires a babysitter but with one look he wants more. Ava just wants money so she can go to Paris but when she meets the sexy Quinn her mind wonders to more. Very sexy romance story that had me wanting Quinn to be mine! Definitely a must read 5/5 stars ** I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book**

If you asked me what made me choose to read this book. I would say it was because K. Webster wrote it. This alone is more than enough reason for me to pick up a book.

What is so great about this author is she doesn't conform to what is expected. She always manages to push the boundaries and in this book, it is the age gap.

I honestly found it disturbing at first, but this is what was so great about it - how the author was able to convince me wholeheartedly that these two were meant to be together.

As a matter of fact, all of her books are like this. No matter the circumstances she proves to us that they each of the couples are fated.

I would definitely recommend this book for those romance readers who don't have enough time to dedicate in reading a full-length novel. This one is short but still manages to packs a punch in the hot and smoldering sexy department. Read it!

Holly Cow! Man this women knows how to deliver a HOT and SEXY read. Thank goodness I read this in one sitting and at HOME, I couldn't read this out, its Freaking a taboo at its finest.

I truly love K Webster. Her writing always sucks me and leaves me feeling so good. but always I feel its to short. I crave more! Her characters are beyond amazing.. Her writing style is just so mind blowing. To me, she always out does her last book. Every story is so good and just gives you the best feels.

This book is a good treat. A short and quick forbidden love story. nothing to dramatic with just the right amount of HOTNESS. . nothing inappropriate, just a great fantasy to escape to.

If I were to describe this in three words they would be fast, taboo erotica. Although there is definitely instant attraction between the MCs, it’s more erotica than romance. The plot relied heavily on the physical needs of the characters rather than the emotional ones. Still is was a nice smutty quickie :)

Even though they don’t get a whole lot of page time, the twins, Aidan and Anthony had such potential. I really feel that they would have added a lot more to this story if they would have been brought into the spot light more.

I liked Quinn and Ava but their relationship didn’t grow much outside the sexual attraction. Yes, the smexy times are crazy hot and for lovers of taboo stories, the older man and his innocent babysitter trope will definitely hit the spot, but I needed that something extra to make me really fall in love with them.

The little bit we get of the MCs outside their taboo relationship had Quinn running hot and cold with Ava and not enough making up , IMO

K. Webster has her own little taboo world where we all get to visit from time to time. Mr. Blakely is another chance for us to take a tour of that world and get friendly with its inhabitants again.

Quinn Blakely's wife ran off and left him with their twin sons. He has to come up with some way to take care of them so that he can still go out and do things at night and make sure that they get to games and such like. So, he asks a friend about a babysitter and is given Ava's name and number.

Ava Prince. 18 and high school senior, is a good girl. she works really hard at school and is getting good grades, she helps out teachers, she has a goal in mind, and she's going to do it. When Quinn calls her for a job, she doesn't realize that he's looking for a babysitter/nanny for his twin boys.

When the two of them meet, it's electric. OMG, the chemistry is just wow. Because it's a K. Webster story, we all know that it's going to be steamy, but this may be the steamiest one yet. Quinn and Ava have such a connection, it's possible to feel it through my Kindle. It is possible to be jealous of two characters on my Kindle, because I think I am.

I love K. Webster's taboo world. Each one is a standalone story, but they are all connected. You don't have to read any of them to understand any others of them, but it's fun to read them and figure out who the characters are and how they all connect up. I can't wait for more entries into this little world.

I should’ve realized this was a “romancing the babysitter” book from the blurb, but… I didn’t (whoops). While the age difference didn’t really bother me that much (he’s 43 and she’s 18, a senior in high school), the power differential had the potential to be problematic for me. However, I felt like the consent issues were handled well.

“’Hey, Quinn,’ he calls out as I start for the door. I turn to see him watching me with furrowed brows. ‘You don’t have to be in control of everything always. It’s okay to not know what the fuck is going on or how to fix it.’
My shoulders stiffen and I crack my neck. ‘Having complete control is the only thing that keeps me sane these days.’ I need it. My life. My family. My job. Everything is planned, everything has rules and parameters, everything has consequences.”

After his divorce, Quinn Blakely hates to admit he needs help, but there’s no way he can run his successful advertising business and take care of his two sons at the same time. He reluctantly asks a friend for a babysitter recommendation, and soon Ava Prince is sitting on his doorstep with her AP Pre-calc homework. From the first, they’re both attracted to each other, but they both realize it’s taboo and try to fight their feelings. There’s a lot of things separating them – their age difference, the fact that he’s her boss and she’s the babysitter, that she’s still in high school and doesn’t even have a car, and that he’s rich while she lives in a trailer park with her mom. They also have a lot of things in common – they’re both driven to excel at their jobs (or school), both exceptionally hard workers, and they both have a thing for Paris.

“Suddenly, I very much know what I’d like to do for fun.
Him.”

The sex scenes were hot, especially since they have a d/s thing going on. It takes a while (nearly forever in a book this short) for them to finally give in to their feelings, but the tension was excellent. As for cons, I thought the easy acceptance of their relationship by Quinn’s sons wasn’t particularly realistic, though I did enjoy Ava’s interactions with them. I can’t imagine my 14-year-old self being ok with my dad hooking up with someone from my own school!

Overall, this was a quick, sexy read – exactly as advertised!

I received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

if you go into this book thinking its going to be filled with juicy naughty bits the book will do well. if you go in wanting a traditional romance book it will flop. I believe this series "dirty bits" is meant to be insta lust.

<a href="http://www.freeimagehosting.net/commercial-photography/"><img src="https://i.imgur.com/jvF72lb.gif" alt="Commercial Photography"></a>

this story is about an 18 year old high school student from the wrong side of poverty who takes a job as a babysitter for a 45 year old man's 15 year old children. <spoiler> that may to decemeber romance is a tad out of my comfort level and felt really creepy!! I would have preferred a college aged instead of high school ages and with his kids being 3 years younger than her ... it really makes the last 50% of the book awkward and icky </spoiler>
what transpires in insta lust/ insta love and insta HEA.

so when you want something short, sexy, steamy and HEA these Carina books are a perfect recipe.

Taboo never looked so hot than a babysitter, hot for the single dad. K Webster steams up the pages.
Ava thinks she's getting a tutoring job but really she is getting a new family.
Quinn is hurt after his wife leaves him and both son's. In a way it was harder for him than the kids because she took care of the kids and home.
Ava kind of saves the day and slowly because someone they can all trust.
It's hot, fast and oh so yummy flying through the pages.

I love this authors quick naughty reads they always deliver.

Quinn is still coming to terms with being a single parent after a recent divorce, as a father to two teenage boys he’s struggling to juggle home and work. Quinn decides to get some help and this brings 18 year old Ava into their lives.

Quinn is a man who needs control, in business at home and in the bedroom. Ava is easy to dismiss as a quiet bookworm but Quinn awakens her to a whole new experience.

I enjoyed the dynamic of their relationship, as expected the chemistry is palpable, the sex scenes are hot hot hot 🔥 A really good older man/ young woman romance.

So I already loved novellas because they are just fun, quickies. But Carina Press is releasing some amazing dirty bits and this one from K. Webster is no exception.

Mr. Quinn Blakely got burned badly by his now ex-wife. He also has full custody of teenage twin boys. He’s running a successful marketing company. He’s exhausted. He needs help. Enter Ava.

Ava is one of those characters that you just find yourself rooting for. She works hard. She’s somewhat unassuming. She hasn’t really dated anyone before. We even learn about a stunt that a teenage boy pulled on her in the past. I found a lot of similarities between myself and Ava. I wanted her to find happiness.

The sparks between Quinn and Ava were immediate. They have a common bond in their love of the french language. Quinn has traveled to France when he was younger, but Ava is hoping to save her money to go there on a trip. This sounds like a silly point to mention in a review but this is where we really see the two characters bond.

I really enjoyed this story. There was actually a point where I teared up just because of the amazing connection these two have (and that doesn’t normally happen to me). I’ve been thinking of re-reading this one already too. Again, I don’t normally do a bunch of re-reads (just don’t have the time). This dirty bit from Carina Press and K. Webster is a must read and definitely one of my favorite stories of all time!

K Webster delivers another quickie Forbidden treat that will leave you completely sated.

With a tortuously deliciously heroine that teases and teases this book had me about ready to combust. Quinn is 🔥🔥🔥.

I devoured this story in mere hours and was hooked from the beginning. Ava and Quinn virtually explode in this when they are together. And it’s one of those stories where the heart and body wants what it wants.

I have loved every book from this world that K Webster has created and especially love that while they are all interconnected they do not need to be read in any particular order.

Honestly for me when it comes to K Webster there isn’t a single book of her I haven’t loved. She’s just consistently amazing and is such a versatile writer. And boy can she write taboo like no one else can.

Short and satisfying in all sense of the word. The male character is pure domination, yet there is also room for tender care and lots of domestic bliss.

A 40-ish man finds himself divorced and flailing at taking care of his boys. Until he hires a babysitter that's sweet, dedicated and responsible. Only he craves her beyond propriety.

What a hot, naughty novella. Good writing style and double POV turned this dirty fantasy into a gorgeous ride on the wild side of older boss-young woman who entangle in a relationship that borders on D/l behaviour. Really hot. He's a very harsh man, but not mean, and their interactions are a bit taboo and a lot tantalizing.

Her innocence shines against his strict attitude, who sees his resistance slowly eroded by the beauty and good nature of his employee. I loved how they gave in into temptation and was surprised by the sheer intentity of the man. He gives her all kinds of pleasure, though his dominant side is awakened by her compliance. You have to like that to enjoy fully this story. Expect control, a bitter spanking, possesiveness and an alpha male who controls and desires with little compulsions.

Beyond the taboo and the controversial, both characters click together, and they realize their dreams after some unexpectedly deep drama. All of which was well written, sexy and fulfilling. I enjoyed myself.

The more I read of these short novellas, the more I get hooked. There is something in the water in that town (city?). So many super hot older men who love their women over the age of consent...but barely lol. As taboo as it sounds, I am a firm believer in love is love and if the relationship is consensual with no pressure from either side (aka, your job depends on it or blackmail of some kind), then have at it. And Quinn and Ava are just....hot together. Ava quickly realizes what she needs and is willing to allow Quinn to have what HE needs. It isn't all roses though as they have a few things, including trust and responsibility to deal with. Super hot, super quick but worth the read!

I have never read a book by K. Webster until seeing this title on NetGalley. It intrigued me enough to request it for review, and I am so glad that I did. Some 'taboo' older-younger romances I've seen in the past have just come across as cringey, but I didn't find that with this one. While there insta-lust between the two main characters is erotic, I also found that it was believable. I loved the interactions between the two of them, and I was rooting for them.
Would definitely recommend and will be reading more K. Webster for sure.
