This is a quick sexy forbidden novella that I seriously loved. It is steamy. It is a fun, light read that you will find yourself addicted to once you pick it up. I would love to read more about these characters. K. Webster never disappoints and even her novellas pack a punch. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Maybe this was not the book to read by the author for the first time. Or maybe it was if this small sample is what the author has to offer. Also, note to self: don't request books when in a reading slump, you never know what you might get.

This story literally blew my socks off, it was so hot. I absolutely love these quick forbidden reads by K. Webster! The older man/younger woman trope is my crack especially since she does them so very well . When Quinn’s wife leaves him to chase her dreams he is left with two teenage boys that need more than he can give them. He needs a babysitter/nanny for his teenage sons , someone to help him out after school , evenings and weekends when he can’t be home so after a recommendation, he contacts Ava and sets up an appointment to meet. Upon their first meeting it was instant chemistry and sizzling connection. Ava is a bit of a nerd, very bookwormish; she is a beautiful young girl who dreams of Paris and a life out of the trailer park and she hopes of receiving a scholarship to college yet the minute she meets “Mr. Blakely” , she has finally met the one man that can take her focus away from her goals. Quinn attempts to ignore the chemistry and sparks between them until he literally cannot and the longing for the sweet and innocent Ava became too much.
This is a fast paced novella that deals with the forbidden and taboo topic of older man/young babysitter. It is steamy, hot, and oh so erotic. This was one of the hotter novellas that K Webster has written in a while and OMG it was so good. I loved Quinn- he was a possessive, alpha, controlling male while Ava was a sweet, innocent yet mature young woman. I felt like they were really made for each other. There were some twists in the story and I wish there was more written about Ava’s father but I understand, novella length so , this was definitely a winner winner reader delight right here!!

4* For what this tale purports to be, i.e. an erotic short, it delivers. Maybe not taboo, just a little bit naughty.

I don't love erotica, but this was a new author and a new range from Carina, for me, at least, so I thought, 'why not try it out?' I was prepared to be kind of underwhelmed, but this ended being a pretty good read.

It pretty much does follow the blurb, and it does end with a HEA, and the characters in the tale, including the secondary ones, are all pretty decent. It is not as full-on with the sex as it could be, and it could do with better editing (i.e. the unnecessary reappearance of one character) and with proofing, but it's a sweet enough tale that has more romance to it than I expected.

I love these little quick dirty bits stories, they are loaded with smutty goodness and they leave me with a sappy grin on my face. This is another taboo type story if you must identify it but honestly this is just unconventional love at it's finest. This story takes place before Easton, and Lawn Boys though this goes back to Quinn and Ava. Basically this story seems to be a prequel to the dirty bits series. I highly recommend it too.. Smutty goodness with a adorable story about finding love and family

3.5 stars. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4 star. I think it's not one of my favs in the taboo treat world K has created but overall I liked it. I think the ex wife could have been written out completely. Now I wonder if some of these other characters mainly Mr. Blakely's friends are getting stories too. Which I'm sure they will. It's funny how I think River or Lacy mention that the men in this town like their women young. I was just thinking is there some fever going around lol? Looking forward to more of Ks work.

Mr. Blakely is one of K Webster’s hot and quick taboo treats published by Carina Press for their The Dirty Bits series. This book is like a neat little package, stuffed perfectly with perfect parts romance and smut. Quinn Blakely is in a bit of a pickle after his wife divorces him and runs off with another man. He has two sons that he just doesn’t have the ability to juggle with life and work. So he hires a babysitter/nanny/tutor, but he ends up with so much more when sweet and nerdy Ava shows up on his front step.

I loved this story. Well written, steamy, with just enough romance. Since it’s a taboo treat not only do we get Quinn and Ava’s story, but we get glimpses at other characters from K Web’s taboo world. Also I’d like to mention out of all of the taboo treats, this MAY be the hottest one yet! If you like age gap romances that are little bit taboo, and a lotta bit hot... then Mr. Blakely is for you!

Mr. Blakely is a fast and naughty read by K. Webster! I loved loved Quinn, he was sexy, dominant and all alpha! Ava was really sweet! They had amazing chemistry and hot hot sexy scenes! They were perfect together! I loved this book alot!

Well that was an enjoyable couple of hours! It is absolutely true that these stories can be read in just a couple of hours AND they are completely satisfying! I am so happy Carina Press made sure to market these short stories in such a way because it leaves zero room for misinterpretation. Short stories don't leave a lot of room for depth of character or story and it's perfectly okay because they are short stories. Stories that just focus on the romance and not anything else. THIS story did that phenomenally.

Now before I forget to mention this ... how about that cover? I would totally lick that repeatedly! #winner There's something about a cover matching the story perfectly that really makes my day. This cover is perfection!

Okay, so what we have here is a really quick, age-gap, nanny/boss romance story without the usual societal problematic issues that go along with that. And it was perfectly done. The one person in the story that should have taken issue with the romance, took issue in a very short and concise way so as to not take away from the sexy read. It was perfect. It left the story open to be entirely about Mr. Blakely and Ava and it was blazing hot :)

SO, yes, this story surprised even me. Too many times authors will try to write these short taboo stories but miss the mark and turn them into porn on paper and it's just so disappointing! K Webster did none of that and instead gave us a beautifully sexually driven short story all wrapped up with a lot of heart!

I do have one tiny teeny aspect of the story that kinda maybe creeped me out just a bit and I honestly didn't see the point. [Quinn has two teenage boys that are WAY too close in age to Ava. I feel the story would have worked just as well if they were 5 to 8 years younger. Fifteen to her eighteen was just too close for me .... (hide spoiler)] However, that little point is a bleep in this great short story so it doesn't even affect my love for it!

The queen of taboo brought us another delicious older man/younger woman sizzling story between Quinn, 40ish and Ava, 18. This is probably one of the best tease books I’ve read in a while. I actually love that K. Webster had Quinn not give in right away. Instead he played with fire until he just couldn’t resist anymore. It built up the chemistry between these two until you think you’re going to combust just reading it!

I love that the author incorporated characters from some of her books into Quinn and Ava’s world. It makes me want to go back and re-read all their books. Loved this! ARC provided by NetGalley.

Oh my, this was definitely a hot one!

Webster's taboo treats are certainly addicting. I cannot get enough of them! Mr. Blakely is no exception. I read it in one sitting. Webster never fails to keep my attention, even with her instalove and exceptionally awesome sexy time. She always gets me interested in the characters, no matter how taboo the tale may be.

The one thing I love about these taboo treats is that all of them are connected in some way. The characters all appear in other treats. Yet, each story is unique and steamy.

Mr. Blakely kept me enthralled and the chemistry smoked off the pages. There was not one thing I didn't like about this dirty, taboo treat. It's a story that will dampen your panties and make you blush! (If you're into that sort of thing) - haha!

A super hot, steamy, addictive taboo romance that will have you wishing it were a longer story!

Quinn is a super hot alpha male and Ava is the sweet innocent, young woman. Very low angst and drama, if you enjoy books with a hint of instalove and some scenes that will make you blush, don’t miss Mr Blakely!

I am not one that is easily offended and if you are not able to see past the age difference than you are missing out on a great story.
Quinn and Ava's story is really beautiful , once you get past the age difference and it is substantial, you really do not notice it as the story goes on. Ava is a very grown up and mature 18 year old and she is looking to make her life better and accepting a job from Mr. Blakey "Quinn " is just what she needs to be able to afford a trip to Paris. Mr. Quinn Blakely is fresh out of a unhappy marriage that left him with his twin sons and an absentee ex wife. I thought it was so funny that he hired Quinn to babysit for 15 year old boys. I really thought this story was going to take a different direction, like one of the boys falling for Ava, nope that was purely their father.
The boys are a bit put off by their fathers decision, but eventually come around and accept Ava. Both boys can tell there is a sexual tension between 43 yr old Quinn and 18 yr old Ava. Instead of Ms. Webster making this a source of long drown out drama, they embraced the budding romance.
I also thought this was going to be just a "fling" and I am so happy that it was not and we got a complete story. I really enjoyed this story.

This is a fast paced novella dealing with the taboo topic of older man and babysitter. I didn’t realize that going in and was afraid I might end up with a whiny teenage heroine but that was not the case. Ava was so mature and she brought a peace to Quinn that he had never experienced before. This is light on the drama and heavy on the steam and actually quite enjoyable.

What a quick, naughty little read! I haven't had the pleasure of reading any of the 'Dirty Bits' books yet and this was my first. I have to say Quinn and Ava's story was perfect! Quinn is dominating and sexy and Ava is perfectly innocent until she submits to all of their desires. I loved the emotions and the storyline. I hope to see more out of some of the supporting characters.

When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book i couldn't put it down.K Webster is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of her books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this book.It started as a job.It turned into so much more.Mr. Blakely is strict with his sons, but he’s soft and gentle with me.The powerful businessman is something else entirely when we’re together.Boss, teacher, lover…husband. My hopes and dreams for the future have changed. I want—no, I need—him by my side.

Ahhh!!! I am ALL ABOUT these naughty little interconnected novellas that K. Webster keeps blessing us with! I met Ava in Ex-Rated Attraction and her relationship with Quinn was hinted at in Lawn Boys, but Mr. Blakely is so much more than I was expecting!!! Not only did I love the story, but every time a new character is mentioned or a side character is mentioned in multiple books, I start salivating for their story too. This book had the perfect mix of kink, emotion, and story - the only thing that could have made it better was for it to be longer. 5 out of 5 wine glasses.
