I read this book in 2013. I didn't relate it to the current copy, but obviously enjoyed it. Funny and relatable.
This is How I Saved My Life is a heck of a biography! Amy B. Scher is dealing with undiagnosed late stage Lyme Disease and getting no help from “top” American doctors. She is so despite to save her own life she hops on a plane and travels around the word to India as her last attempt to LIVE!
The journey Amy took me on in this book was so much, it was heartwarming yet heartbreaking, it was hilarious yet somber it was truly a journey. I applaud Amy for telling such a personal tale!
I really enjoyed this book. I liked her voice and the background she gave on everything. I appreciated how at the end she realized it was really herself and her mindset that really got her through. But all the treatment was needed to help her realize how to save her own life.
