Zayd loves playing basketball but worries when his best friend begins to pull away from the sport. At home, Zayd's family is absorbed in planning a family wedding. While the writing and plot are pretty standard chapter-book fare, Zayd's Pakistani-American family adds a fresh element that will help this book standard out among other sports chapter books.
