Perfect children's book for a religious home. It's story is profound and utterly charming. It is perfect for family bed time or before dinner.,
This is a precious book for young children to peak their curiosity of seeking God. I highly recommend this book for children around age 5 or 6.
Where Are You Hiding, God? by Elisabeth Zartl. Published May 1st 2017 by Westminster John Knox Press.
A cozily illustrated children’s picture book about a little girl’s search for God within her home and world. We join her on an enjoyable journey as her exploration soon restores hope and belief as she discovers for herself that the presence of God is in every little thing. Highly recommend for your young child.

This is a simple, yet profound book. Ideal for reading together with small children - lots to notice and point out from the beautiful illustrations. Whether it is the translation or simply the theological stance - it could lean towards "God is literally everything", however - I think that being aware of God's presence in the mundane and day to day ordinariness of existence is GREAT. Often we look for (or encourage others to look for) God in the spectacular - but, if we have eyes to see we will notice his creative hand in all that we see.
A lovely resource for the smallest souls to encourage them that a loving God is omnipresent. Although we may initially miss "seeing him", he is always with us in the everyday stuff of life. Precious illustrations and engaging prose.
My girls and I loved this book. The artwork is beautiful as is the message of the story. It really helped my little girls understand that God is all around us.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this book, which I voluntarily reviewed.
