This is an excellent start to what promises to be a highly entertaining series. Loving the Romano Brothers and looking forward to more....

Billionaire Nicolo Romano is charming, sexy and determined to keep his carefree globe trotting bachelor status, so selling off the family resort as soon as possible is a must. That was the plan until he is there and visiting the one place he loved so much as a child and then finding Adeline Peluso just as passionate about the old place as he is. Really enjoyed this entertaining, exciting and fun romantic adventure and look forward to the next adventure.

Adeline was a luxury real estate agent who had come to Italy- Sicily specifically for adventure. But After two years She also had to watch a resort she loved fall to ruins but she had enough She had a job offer in Spain. She had come to Sicily several times with her grandparents every summer. Adeline had learned about love and life there and they always stayed at the Romano del Mare. She had joined the company that held listing of the Romano del Mare eight months ago. Adseline hoped to find the love her grandparents had shown her. Adeline hoped to find that someday. The resort had not had a customer in a decade. When the original owners got to old to handle managing the resort they handed it over to a management company that allowed the resort to become a broken memory of happier times. Then one of the Romano brothers showed up in Adeline’s office to tell her that he and his brothers wanted to sell the property. Adeline had pleaded with Nicolo not to sell the property. She had a whole notebook of things that needed to be done and prices and contractors she had talked to about the work. Eventually Nicolo gave in and said he would at least do some improvements and Adeline came up with a fake buyer. Nicolo started to care deeply and he didn’t want her for a one night stand after they had slept together.nicolo realized he wanted Adeline in his life. The one who wandered the world, the one who wanted no ties and had no roots and liked it that way
I really enjoyed this book and loved the growth Nicolo went through. I loved Adeline and Nicolo together. I also really liked that she got Nicolo to want to fix up the Romano del Mare and how many jobs the resort had given to the people. Nicolo also learned to be proud of the resort and all it stood for. I wasn't too happy how Nicolo had acted when Adeline told she had lied about that man and he had had been a fake buyer.. I was so glad he brother made Nicolo see reason and to follow his heart. I felt like I was there with Adeline and Nicolo which is a tip of my hat to the author. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend.

She had desperately tried to reach him for months to have him save his families resort that was slowly crumbling away with age. Neglect had taken its toll and she helped pave the way so it would make restoring the once treasured beauty into its former glory. Will Nicolo finally stop wandering in his endless travels and finally settle down or will he distance himself from his families legacy to let the memories of the past go.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are hones
Nicolo was only there to sell he resort and be done with it.
Adeline would not give up the resort w/o a fight.
In the end, she convinced him to restore the resort to its original glory.
In the process, they fell in love.
Now, they have to decided if this love is worth fighting for.
I loved the storytelling + the characters
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the first book in a series. I enjoyed it. Rated it a 3.5. I think a lot of romance readers would enjoy this quick, fun novel.

Frilly, Emotionally Romano Love

The buildings of a crumbling, but once-great, Sicilian getaway mean everything to Adaline, and nothing to Nicolo, both of whom have family ties to the place.

The romance is soupy and soapy at once, kind of highly wrought in the way of older classic romances, which didn't always work well in a modern setting. The drama seemed overdone for its causes, for the most part.

This is the first time I read a book by Leslie North, and honestly, I am so happy that I was able to immerse myself into the 'Italian Billionaire's Stubborn Lover'. 'Italian Billionaire's Stubborn Lover' does not disappoint. North brings forth a strong cast of characters that enables the reader to be introduced to the remaining Romano brothers that will appear in the subsequent books within the 'Romano Brother Series'. As the 'Italian Billionaire's Stubborn Lover' is the first book in North's new series, I thought it did a very good job in both setting the scene- i.e. the Romano family, their background and their relationship to each other - through the ups and downs of the romantic relationship between the main characters, Nicolo Romano and Adeline Peluso.

Adeline Peluso is introduced as one of the most successful real estate agents in Sicily, having moved full-time to Sicily from America, in order to ground herself in her heritage. Sicily, for Adeline, is a place where adventure and romance ensues; having been the backdrop for her grandparents wonderful and fulfilling marriage. As a character, I thoroughly enjoyed Adeline. She was unapologetically herself and did not change any aspect of her personality for the approval of Nicolo. She knew what she wanted and she ensured that she succeeded and reached her goals, and I adored that about Adeline so completely. Her character remained true to the woman the reader is introduced to in the beginning of the novel with the addition that she was more emotionally mature.

Nicolo Romano was not quite your typical extra-macho-masculine male lead. He was much more in tune with his emotions which allowed for a very mature and poignant relationship, which ensured that the story itself was intriguing and left you wanting so much more. Nicolo was quite an interesting and solid character; I found myself wanting to know more; more about his background, about how he became to be a successful real estate developer, and about how he interacts with his brothers. Nicolo was such a wonderfully created character, that I was in slight awe.

Discussing the overall storyline, I felt that it gave a really strong narrative that was steeped in realism. The romance, the doubt, the insecurities and the friendship between Nicolo and Adeline was well-written and beautifully rendered. I thoroughly enjoyed the use of the hotel Romano del Mare as the point where the most significant events of Nicolo's and Adeline's relationship, is tied to the hotel. The hotel itself is a part of the Romano family heritage, and Nicolo and his brothers want to sell it as they do not have the time nor the inclination to settle down and manage the hotel. Adeline is the real estate agent tasked to sell this hotel, but instead, tries her absolute hardest for Nicolo to understand the importance of the hotel, not only because of its heritage to the Romano family but to the heritage, it occupies in Sicily. Nicolo and Adeline's relationship occurs with the hotel Romano del Mare as the backdrop to their love for one another, and it really is a beautiful addition.

However, one little thing that I could critique was the dialogue which occurred during the scenes of Nicolo and Adeline's love-making. It was quite unrealistic, although, this novel isn't overrun with love-scenes, more so the narrative aims to solidify the relationship and the friendship between Adeline and Nicolo through dialogue, which was fantastic and added to the emotional poignancy of the story. Thus, it was not a major issue within the novel.

The ending was adorable and perfectly romantic, and I highly recommend readers who enjoy the likes of Nora Roberts, Erica Ridley, and Bella Andre, to immerse themselves in this story.

NOTE: I received a free copy of the Italian Billionaire's Stubborn Lover thanks to NetGalley, for an honest review.

I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review. This book was set in Sicily at a beautiful but very rundown hotel. It was in the process of being sold, but Adeline knew unless the brothers that owned it fixed it up, it would be torn down. Nicolo was one of the brothers who came to talk to Adeline and see to the sale. He was immediately attracted to her. Adeline tried everything she could think of to change his mind (even playing a little dirty). This story was good but I would have liked the ending to play out in a ittle more detail. All in all, I enjoyed the story.

Leslie North's books are always entertaining and quick to read. I will say I like this book better than her Sheik books.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I have always loved the books by Leslie North, and this one is no exception! I was not sure how their romance would turn out when Adeline had given Nicolo a pretty big lie!

Fortunately, Nicolo was pretty quick to forgive her but then their romance was kind of winding down when he spent so much time working in India.

Good thing that he finally woke up and realized that his work was not that important and Adeline was. Loved the fact that he found an alternative and they had a great HEA!! Looking forward to the next books in the series@

Italian Billionaire's Stubborn Lover is the first installment of the Romano Brothers' series and follows Nicolo and Adeline's relationship. Adeline and Nicolo meet when he requests her as the realtor for his family's resort which has been closed for many years and has fallen into such a state that it needs major renovations to be operational or it will need to be completely destroyed. Nicolo and his brothers want to sell and Adeline wants it to be saved. The resort represents some of the happiest times in her life and some of the best memories of love that she remembers from her grandparents, something she strives to achieve for herself.

Nicolo leads a jet setter life going from one development job to the next and he has the biggest one on the line that will make his career. He thinks going to Sicily and putting the resort on the market will be a quick task until he meets Adeline who has a plan to stop him and hopefully save the resort as well as rebuild part of the economy for the area. It is a great romance, both between Adeline and Nicolo but also between the reader and Sicily. It reminds me how much I cannot wait to see it for the first time.

I really liked the premise of this book and the setting. But, I just wasn't feeling any chemistry with these two. Adeline and Nicolo were fine, but there were some gaps in the story that could have been filled in with more interactions between the H/h.
