What happens when a mystery women is pulled from the water and she has no idea who she is? Bound to find out the truth Dr. Luca starts investigating and trying his best to figure out the story behind her identity and the clothes she is wearing. This book was full of surprises and twists that made me love this book more. Thank you for allowing me to read and write about this.

Behind the Mask is a sultry, mysterious tale with a beautiful setting.

When Dr. Luca Viale's new patient is determined to be suffering from amnesia and whose body has tell tale bruises, he's dead set on figuring out what happened to the beautiful woman. What follows is a tale full of intrigue, mystery and passion with the backdrop of beautiful Venice.

Luca and Caroline make a beautiful couple, their chemistry is passionate and exciting. Luca's care for her, not just as her doctor, but as her partner, is a beautiful thing. And seeing Caroline regain her memory and take a stand against those who had hurt her was awesome! Although this is my first Renee Canter Johnson book, now it won't be my last.

You know it's creepy when even the assassin is scared.

Remind me never to be in Venice on a foggy night.

What a crappy police force.

All those drugs can't be helping with the memory loss.

This is an excellent mystery.

The professor's wife ordered the hit on her, I bet.

Richard is not as large-and-in-charge as he thinks he is.

The assassin with a side-job as paparazzo.

I never liked Carmen.

Holy crap!

Whoa, she had some balls before the accident.

Ewww. Buh-bye, Ricky.

Ha, she's got jokes! Good for her.

Snort. She thought he was having a heart attack.

Oh, how nice that they found the boy.

Who else wants that wedding feast?

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
