It was well written and interesting, though not quite what I expected.

Sorry for the delayed review. I'm working on knocking out my large netgalley backlog in my journey into reading this year.

I found it very informative. Great for those who have an interest in labyrinths.Reading about using the labyrinth to not only find and walk your path but to find your way so you can meditate and calm your mind is is a new way to live with new insights Talking about being able to make your own temporary labyrinth out of different materials such as cornmeal, paint, string or chalk is something I had not thought of , especially when it was explained the different ways to draw them.

The three R's are : Release is to let go Receive to have guidance and understanding, Return to your everyday life with new insights. Very interesting subject that I want to learn more about. I was honored to receive this book by Net Galley for an honest review

This is the most informative and thorough book on labyrinths that I have read. I particularly liked the instructions on how to walk the labyrinth for different purposes and also how to draw them step by step. It covers everything and the authors passion for them bursts through the pages. I also liked the hints on how to try building one of your own. This is a great reference book to own, and although I have always loved labyrinths and have been intrigued by them, after reading this book I realise that there is so much more to them that I thought. Excellent - thank you

Covers the gambit on information about labyrinths. This thorough book includes history; instructions for creating labyrinths; explanations about different interpretations of labyrinth work and exercises to do to utilize the labyrinth for self-discovery. This reads and feels like a reference book for facilitators or practitioners more than a non-fiction narrative book. The table of contents serves as a good index for this. Because it covers such a wide range of information, particularly with the historical and informational content, it is, necessarily cursory and doesn't dive deeply into many traditions, just solid background on many.
