All Your Perfects is a profound exploration of the intricacies and challenges that come with navigating relationship problems within the context of marriage. The novel delves into the lives of Quinn and Graham, whose seemingly perfect love is put to the test by the weight of their imperfect marriage. With a backdrop of memories, mistakes, and well-guarded secrets, the couple finds themselves at a crossroads where their love is both the lifeline and the potential downfall. Portraying the complexities of marriage, showcasing the vulnerabilities and struggles that often remain hidden behind a facade of happiness, this book allows readers to empathize on a more personal level. It is definitely a darker read, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but its unflinching honesty and raw vulnerability leaves a lasting impact nonetheless.
Colleen Hoover is such a master at writing a story that will, thus far, become a favorite of mine. I’ve yet to pick up a CoHo book that didn’t have me on the edge of my seat, desperately turning each page to find out what happens next
Re-Read Thoughts: I decided to re-read this book after a copy was sent to me with a fabulous new cover. And as I expected, I stand by the review, but with one added tweak. This time around, I felt the emotion more. Maybe it is my age or the experiences I have had, but the candid nature of this book as well as the depiction of a marriage in crisis was perfection. Damn you Colleen Hoover and your emotional romances! Just kidding...you are still my go-to ugly cry author.

My Highly Caffeinated Thought: A raw and sincere look at the ups and downs of love over the course of seven years of marriage.
ALL YOUR PERFECTS is an honest look at how life and circumstances can change a relationship. Hoover uses Quinn and Graham in the past as well as the present to inform the reader of where they used to be as opposed to where they are now. We get to see them at their best and their worst.
The thing I loved about this book was the candor. It was honest, and gritty, and didn't shy away from issues that affect relationships. The way hoover unraveled the story was only made better by the expressiveness in her writing. She brings you down a journey with her characters filled with highs and lows. This is where she shines.
What I was missing was more of the ugly cry moments. I know...I want more emotion from Colleen Hoover?!?! Have I gone mad? Possibly. It could be just me, but I wanted more of the "feels" and heartbreaking sentiment from the characters. Don't get me wrong, I felt for them both. Their struggles in keeping their marriage together were impactful, but I wanted more.
All in all, this is a good book. I have no doubt that all the CoHorts and Hoover fans are going to love it.
4.5/5
If you are struggling or have struggled with infertility, then All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover will most likely wreck you. I am a person who chooses not to have kids and I was still sobbing by the end of this book. I want to point this out as I know it is a trigger for a lot of people out there and I want you to be warned going into it. Besides infertility being a huge part of this novel, there is of course the romance aspect as well. I love how Hoover writes her characters and I feel as though I got to know Quinn really well. The book alternates between then and now all from Quinn's POV and it was a great element for seeing how things come to where they are at between her and Graham. I also really liked how the title came into play and definitely got one of those 'ah ha' moments once it hit.
The audiobook is narrated by Madeleine Maby and she was PERFECT as the voice of Quinn as well as being the perfect person to voice this book as a whole. She made the emotional parts even more emotional for me, and I loved the way she brought All Your Perfects to life with her narration. This is a really quick read, and the audio wasn't even 8 hours, so it is easy to fly through in a day or 2. I listened to it in basically 2 sittings, and it was really hard to put down because I was so involved in the story. The only thing that isn't really touched on thoroughly is how depressed Quinn is after the infertility issues. Graham wasn't being very understanding which grated on me, but overall, this was another amazing read from CoHo.
I received a complimentary digital copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Colleen Hoover is an actual goddess. I swear she just keeps getting better. This one ripped my heart out and broke it to pieces and then put it back together all over again.
Truly a magically written novel and I would recommend this to any and everyone.

Simply Breathtaking!
People go into marriage thinking of happily ever afters not realizing the hard work that goes into marriage. Sure there are ups and downs but there is always work to be done—through thick and thin through sickness and health.
Graham and Quinn met in the most unexpected ways… dare I say it was fate leading them to the more appropriate path in life that they should be on. Told in both past and present POV, I absolutely LOVED watching their love unfold and grow to the now present day and the obvious rift in their marriage. A rift so relatable and heartbreaking that my heart broke over and over for these two characters who still had so much love in their heart for the other.
But is love enough when one of the things you want most in life just isn’t meant to be? The journey of Graham and Quinn while at times so emotionally heartbreaking, was also hopeful seeing their love from the past and the small positive snippets in the present gave me such high hopes that everything would be okay and that yes, love would be enough for them.
I devoured this book… it consumed me in the best possible way. Unputdownable! Hoover has yet again written a story so masterfully breathtaking and beautiful that it is without a doubt my TOP favorite this year. Crying silently in my bed as my husband slept beside me while I wiped the tears from my eyes with my sheet… that hasn’t happened in A LONG FREAKING TIME! I’ll be vague here and say that the tears literally poured over what was inside the box… I loved these characters EVEN MORE at that moment.
This book is a must read… an epic love story… a truthful look at marriage and the hard work it takes to make it work even when things aren’t so perfect… this book was just WOW!
This is the best Colleen Hoover book I've read. The story was heartbreaking and lovely at the same time. I haven't read one that hits so close to home on the issue of infertility like this one. I was sad when the book ended because I wanted more from the main characters.
My first Colleen Hoover book was Confess which I adored and devoured in one sitting--at the bookstore! I've read others that I have liked, but none like that first time. Until this book. This book has everything I look for in a romance, but more than that, it has everything I expect from an author of this caliber.
I must say this wasn’t what I was expecting, but none the less, it was enjoyable. The story was intriguing and held your attention. The characters were easy to relate to and connect with. Fans of the romance genre will find this very enjoyable!
One of my new favorite books! This author has such a way with words the pages flew by in no time! I can’t wait to see the next work by this author! This was such a joy to read!
I'll be honest and say I was worried about how I would feel about this book even after 50%... I was worried that I wasn't gonna like it as much as some of her previous work.
You really feel the emotions of Graham and Quinn's marriage struggles and it really hit hard. I may not be married or in a relationship, but it did affect my emotions like no one's business! It is a very raw, emotional story about real struggles couples go through. You go through the ringer right along with Graham and Quinn and experience all their emotions. They are struggling to keep their marriage afloat and wondering if it's all worth it in the end... Lord almighty, my heart with this book.
I'm still very conflicted honestly. I would have loved to see more of Graham and Quinn after they came to their decision and to see their life after it. It's definitely an unforgettable book; I won't forget it for a long time. I don't know if it's my FAVORITE CoHo book... I mean, for me it's hard to beat Maybe Someday and Ugly Love - those are my all time favorites. But this is definitely an amazing book. Very real, very raw, very emotional!
Normally, I'm annoyed when communication between two people can easily (or not so easily) clear up misunderstandings. Yet, that's part of the point to this particular story. The journey to revelations and understanding mired in grief and devastation was the beauty of this book wrapped up in a gorgeous love story that was heart wrenching while also heartwarming. Another amazing story by an author who rarely disappoints.
I loved this book. It really affected me and had me crying at some parts. This book had me feeling so many emotions, I was mad at her, mad at him, loving their relationship. Just a great testament of an extremely well-written story. A captivating read about the challenges of a married couple. Makes you ask yourself "Do I believe in fate?"
Graham and Quinn meet under unusual circumstances. All Your Perfects alternates chapters between Now and Then to simultaneously tell the story of how they fell in love and how they’ve slowly drifted apart.
This book was a page-turner with lots of unique and quotable moments that would most appeal to those who have been or are currently married.
It's exactly what you'd expect from a Colleen Hoover book. What I didn't expect was to find myself within the pages. I still have trouble identifying where this book ends and I begin. It left me feeling numb, and raw.
Readers struggling in their own marriages may find All Your Perfects both hard to read but also inspiring.
Overall, I'd have to say this book was a moderate read for me. It certainly had me flipping the pages rapidly, dying to know what would happen next, but it also frustrated me to no end, which I guess speaks to CoHo's writing skills. CoHo does what she does and pulls at your heartstrings. She sure knows how to draw those emotions and really gets you to think about your life choices, your connections and interactions with other people, and with how it all impacts your life.
In specific terms when it came to Quinn and Graham's story, I definitely felt their pain. I liked the flipping back and forth, getting to know their love story. My biggest problem with them was their lack of communication. Love, trust, and communication; those are the keys to a successful relationship in my opinion, and they were seriously lacking in the communication department. Yes, they had other problems, but the overall problem could've been dealt with better had they actually talked to each other more. It really annoyed me how long they, especially Quinn, went along with the "we're fine" charade. While I don't blame her for everything, and certainly not for something that happens later down the line that made me want to punch Graham, I do hold her to how she treated and viewed Graham.
I liked that this book addressed what happens after you fall in love, not many books do that. It truly makes you think and self-reflect. While it certainly isn't my favorite CoHo book, it's worth a read.
This book was absolutely stunning. I've never read a bad book by Colleen Hoover and I don't suppose I ever will. I got absolutely nothing accomplished because I just couldn't put this down. I ugly cried, I laughed and I swooned. And if I could rate this more than five stars I totally would. Perfection.

A beautiful, raw look at real, imperfect, worth-the-fight love! Colleen Hoover at her absolute best!
Thank you so much Atria Books for providing my free copy of ALL YOUR PERFECTS by Colleen Hoover - all opinions are my own.
I have to disclose that I am not a romance reader - not that there is anything wrong with being one, but it’s never been what I gravitate towards. BUT I am always willing to give new things a try, especially when everyone under the sun raves about Colleen Hoover. Well, here it is: Colleen Hoover is a brilliant writer. Her writing is evocative, relatable, compelling, and perceptive. I was captivated from cover to cover.
The story centers on Quinn and Graham’s relationship. They met under distressing circumstances, but six months later they meet again and a loving relationship begins. The construction of the novel is genius. The narrative is told from Quinn’s perspective and alternates between the past, at the blissful beginning and now, a struggling marriage. Quinn is such a lovely, empathetic character. Hoover painstakingly, but realistically covers the main topics of communication and infertility incredibly well. There are so many couples that deal with such situations and Hoover writes like she knows them all. The present-day chapters are so gripping that I had to know what would become of Quinn and Graham. I found myself hoping and investing in their relationship.
ALL YOUR PERFECTS has the beautiful central message that we need to try to see all the perfects of who we love, even though the flaws shine so bright in every relationship. I fell in love with this book, so I wholeheartedly think you will too.
4 1/2 stars
If you've read any of Hoover's previous books then you're no stranger to her emotionally-charged stories. All Your Perfects is no exception as we watch a couple at the blissful start of their relationship and at their worst when their marriage is failing. Welcome to Hoover's World, folks! She'll reel you in and then rip your heart out, shred it and even run over it for good measure. I LOVE HER!
Quinn and Graham meet on the worst day of their lives - finding out their significant others are cheating on them with each other. They walk away from that disastrous day but run into each other again a few months down the road. They begin this bizarre courtship that works for them and honestly, it's freaking cute. Those are the happy parts. Hoover alternates their before and after stories, and it's dysfunction and devastation in the after. Disconnected, unaffectionate and distant - this part was not pleasant to read and frankly made me frightened for where things were headed.
All marriages have their ups and downs and sometimes it's hard to love in our worst possible moments. The story is told entirely from Quinn's point of view which for me was a challenge because you're stuck in her head where she's a depressed, closed off from her husband. I desperately wanted to feel things from Graham's point of view as well but much like Quinn, I was isolated from him. The big question in All Your Perfects is can you love someone when they're different from the person you fell in love with in the first place? A lot of their marital troubles stem from Quinn's insecurities and she is exceptionally hard on herself. There are possible triggers and to avoid giving away the plot I've added them to the labels of this post. I will say that this story did feel more personal to me as I have experienced a little of what Quinn was experiencing though not to that extent. But I understood where she was coming from and it is a hard place and once you go down that rabbit hole, you're kind of stuck there.
I like Colleen Hoover because she challenges me. She doesn't always assure me that everyone will get their HEA, heck sometimes she even leaves me hanging, but I love that I don't know what to expect from her. Sure, my heart might get wrung out but I want those feels and I'm always guaranteed that with her. The only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is that I would've liked a small glimpse of Graham's POV throughout their unhappy period, and I realize that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, All Your Perfects is real and honest, and once again Hoover captures perfectly the commitments we take on and the complexities of love.

I had the honor of reading AYP last month, and I was completely blown away by it. This story is so important, so real, and ended up changing the way I think as a mother. To have a book impact me so deeply speaks volumes.
.
All Your Perfects addresses the extremely real and sensitive topic of infertility. Though I can’t say I’ve been in this situation myself, I have known others who have struggled through this. This story addressed this struggle with such grace and realism, I’m honestly at a loss for words.

I can’t recommend this story enough. It’s emotional, hopeful, heartbreaking and inspirational. It will leave you thinking long after you finish reading it. @colleenhoover is a romance queen, and I can’t say it enough: READ THIS BOOK!!
