I loved this book about sleepy village life that held so many secrets. There's Bex who is a widow moving into the village with her stepdaughter Megan and the boys. Their move to the countryside from London has got everyone talking and wondering. We meet Miles and Belinda who run the village pub, Olivia the village busy body who is on every committee and whose son goes to private school and Amy a single mum working many jobs to make ends meet - these are just a few of the characters that bring this story to life. For anyone who has ever lived in a village this story is so real with the many faces of village life. Each character has their own problems to face and It would be good to have a follow up book as I am sure there are many more families and secrets we could enjoy.
