I have to admit, it took me a little bit of time to fall in love with this book. But my gosh, fall in love with it I did. I think perhaps because this book is way out of my book-nerd comfort zone, but it was also a book that I was desperately needing. My thanks to the author for writing it, and my encouragement to you to read it.

A great introduction to mystical concepts and goddess figures. It's definitely a nice comprehensive book for young adult women who are interested in exploring their femininity, ideas of feminism, history, and spirituality in this form.
