This book reads as a compilation of "letters to the editor" at New Scientist regarding various (loosely-defined) topics in science. While this format might appeal to some younger readers, its probably better left as a regular column in a magazine as opposed to compiled in book format.
Enthusiastic science readers will find their favorite blogs, vlogs, and magazines a bit more insightful than the content offered here.
