This was another great book by author Sinead Moriarty. It had interesting characters and the story moved along. When the book started I thought it was going to be about young love, have family, grow old together but with heart ache along the way. I was wrong on a few of those ideas. The twins were wonderfully written and I enjoyed the best friend. Gabriel was something else. I wanted to smack him from the beginning and wish he’d have gotten a worse ending. Tina wasn’t in the story long enough but you liked her anyway. I can’t wait for another book by this author.

A delight to read. Lucy is on top of her game, in love and doing well in school. But when she finds out she is pregnant, reality hits with a solid punch. While she steps up for her children and family, Lucy lets herself down because she fears she just might not be able to fulfill her dream of becoming a lawyer. While relentlessly pushing her twins toward the success she let fall aside, and focusing on hating the two men she uses as scapegoats for her own failure to continue her path to legal greatness, Lucy is blind to how her life really looks. On the edge of losing the children she holds dear because of her rigid focus on what she thinks is best, Lucy must dig deep to fight for all that she and her family desire and deserve.
