Not my favorite, I do like the author though. I felt like it could have had more to suck me in. It was just okay for me.
You can’t go wrong with this series by Audrey Carlan. Her descriptions of the cities for each book are so vivid and I was hooked on this whole series of international guys!
This book was not for me but I am sure some people may enjoy. It was a did not finish for me. I would consider trying another of this authors books.
I liked how this book was written from the perspective of the Male lead. The story was flirty, sexy, and fun.
International Guy: One: Paris was a good read by Audrey Carlan. This is the first novella in the International Guy Series. Parker Ellis is a ladies man who owns and operates International Guy Inc. He is a life and love coach. I can't wait to read more in this series.
I have chosen not to review this title. My apologies for the delay in responding to this and advising you of this, especially as it is likely obvious I have chosen not to review, I thought I had sent in all of my DNF titles.
As always, I appreciate the opportunity.

This is my first International Guy book and my first book by Audrey Carlan. There is one word to describe it and it is steamy. I did love the men and their friendship, however I wish that the story focused on one of the other men. These guys are love em and leave em types which isnt necessarily my favorite guy type but it is fun to read; and a quick read.
Jumping into my first Audrey Carlan series and I must say, I really enjoyed this first installment
The men of International Guy are diverse, each good at their own task, each sexy in their own way. But Parker is easily the star of this story. Not only is he sexy, alpha, and charismatic, but he's intelligent, business savvy, and very good at what he does. He's the perfect package.
Sophie is amazing. I loved watching her transformation throughout the story, thanks to the guys and their penchant for helping out women in need. She might be shy at first but soon she's a fiery Parisian business woman ready to take her position at the top of her company.
Take two people with crazy chemistry and throw them together in Paris and you have a steamy, sexy story that keeps you flipping till the last page. Just FYI, this story NOT a happily ever after, but it is a happy for now. Multiple cities, multiple women - it'll be fun to follow the journey and see who captures the hearts of these International Guys.
Quite enjoyed this first part of the series, primarily told from Parker's perspective. I liked the business Parker and his two best friends Bo and Roy have started, and how they manage to help those in need. I was kind of on the fence when it came to Parker's feelings regarding Skylar, so I'm waiting to see how that will play out.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was well written, has a good plot and characters. Looking forward to the picking up the next book.
3 stars
I am struggling to write a review for this. It missed the mark for me, IT IS A CASE OF, it's not you it is me.
A new to me author.
Not what I expected, but in a good way.
A fun and flirty introduction to the International Guys.
What a great start to this series!
Audrey Carlan has Parker Ellis, one of three delicious men working to help internationally, helping Sophie Rolland, a woman in "need". She is trying to help her family's business, and he is going to help her...personally.
I enjoyed this book. It is a fun read, with some sexy parts, lust, and just a good, fun storyline!
I love the concept of this series where the company IG (International Guy) helps women become the best they can be. Sophie and Parker had a great connection and I was hoping for so much more between them. This amazing book is one of twelve and I am excited to read the rest to see where the guys take us next. Great writing, likable characters and a fun, entertaining story line make this a great way to start this series.
This was my first read from this author and it was fun. You're a woman looking for something in your life - whatever that may be - that's where International Guy - aka the Dream Team come in. Parker, Bo & Royce help fulfil ALL your desires & needs & yes I mean ALL of them, while ensuring when they leave, you're ready to take on the world. It's a fun novella and a good introduction to the series. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be looking for more of her work.
Three friends, Parker, Bo and Roy, have joined together to create a unique company called International Guy, Inc. Where for the right price any wealthy client, or someone who can afford their services, can rely on the expert advice from each man in their specific fields. Talk about a complete makeover from financial, to fashion and yes, even self-confidence building there gentlemen have you covered. Maybe, sometimes, in more ways than one.
Sophie hadn’t expected to take over her family’s perfume empire so suddenly and without her father at the helm teaching her all the tiny details she’d need to continue the company’s success. But life and death happen and hold their own lessons in coping with the aftermath. Fortunately Sophie has the means to hire a dream team of experts to help transform this shy, timid girl into an alluring, confident businesswoman. Now she just needs to keep her heart intact as well.
Paris is the first novella in the 12 story long International Guy series. It’s fun, it’s flirty and it’s sexy as we get a bird’s eye view of Sophie’s transformation from timid duckling to beautiful, confident swan. Filled with laugh out loud moments, the type of bantering that only guys who are close friends can do and the beauty of another characters, the beautiful city of Paris this story kept me engaged. I enjoyed the writing style of Audrey Carlan, who is a new to me author, she brought the characters live for me. It’s a quick read, but one that I had fun with.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
A brilliant read with a brilliant storyline and characters and I will look forward to reading more from you from this author thank you for my arc
I was looking for a light romance book to read and International Guy: Paris looked to be just that. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it past 15%. See, here's the thing: Sexual tension in a New Adult book? I'm completely fine with it. BUT don't forget to have a dang plot, too. Most of this story was about the main character talking about his penis repeatedly. And let's not ignore the ridiculous business he started with his friends.
I wanted to love this, but man, I couldn't keep from rolling my eyes and ultimately decided it just wasn't for me.
This book was a lot of fun to read. I enjoyed the way the man and woman were able to enjoy themselves with no strings and no one left pining when it was over.
This book is the first in a series of novellas that chronicle Parker Ellis, makeover-er extraordinaire as he hops from city to city revamping the businesses and images of women in need.
I did not like this book. Firstly because being in the mind of a super cocky playboy is not an enjoyable time for me. I like to be able to connect to the couples in my romance novels and I like to be able to root for them. I can’t do that here so this series is just not for me.
