This was a fast read with all the chemistry. I enjoyed how Parker, Royce and Bo brought Sophie out of her shell. I can't wait to read more about them.

This is book one in what looks like to be a longer series that takes place all over the world.
We meet the three men that are a part of International Guy, a business that helps woman succeed in the workplace, at the beginning of the book. They all have their special skills that they bring to the agency. I immediately do not like these guys and it only gets worse when they meet their first client. They are condescending, inappropriate, and arrogant. But their client seems to like it...

I really enjoy the idea of this book, but I just found the main character of Parker so unlikable. We really did not get to know the other two as much, so maybe there is hope for them in the future books. I most likely will read on the next books for a few reasons. 1. I have loved other books written by Audrey Carlan (Her Calendar Girl series is amazing). 2. I'm interested to see if they are all just going to sleep with every client they have or build relationships at some point. 3. The end of this book set us up for the next one, and I want to see what happens.

This book was a super fast read. this book in a way made me think of shows like queer eye for the straight guy only with a women they helped get her life together.

I loved the take of having three guys that can do it all help a women. This book was different in the fact that it was guys helping women with everything form, business, fashion, and everything in between. I enjoyed that this took place in Paris and the different things you got to see.

International Guy is some awesome business! The 3 guys sure came up with a unique organization that allows each guy to showcase his talents. Interesting concept. Definitely steamy too. I found the book interesting.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

I really enjoyed getting to know the guys and their business. This book was a great way to introduce us to the men, especially Parker the man behind International Guys Inc. They all have their certain talents that they contribute to the company and all are pretty much manwhores. They set off for Paris in this book to go help heiress Sophie to become a confident, sexy CEO and Parker ends up being very attracted to her and they hit it off, have some sexy times then separate as friends. I liked the bond and friendship the guys had and I can't wait to read more of the series

I love the cover. I'm amazed at how the author pulled off three male characters who were experts at everything women. I got an advance digital copy off NetGalley in exchange for an honest review and if you're into romance, I'm talking about quick steamy romance from a male perspective, then this is worth checking out.

International Guy:Paris is a series of 12 novellas featuring Parker Ellis, Bogart Montgomery (Bo), and Royce Sterling (Roy). I was curious as to whether or not International Guy would be the male version of Audrey Carlan’s Calendar Girl. This series is very different from that series.

Told from Parker’s POV the story took me places I wasn’t expecting. The concept of International Guy is advising and ‘coaching’ wealthy and or famous people who need a little guidance. ‘Paris’ is fast paced. As the series kicks off we meet Parker Ellis, CEO of International Guy Inc. which he runs with his friends Roy and Bo. They each have a particular quality that they bring to the table for their clients.

"At International Guy, we cater to the client’s needs. No request is too demanding or too strange. As long as it’s not illegal…we’re in."

Parker advises on life & love, also known as the Dreammaker, Bo on fashion is the Lovemaker and Roy on finance and business is the Moneymaker. Their current job is to assist perfume heiress Sophie Rolland as she steps into the role of CEO. I did not connect the way I had hoped that I would. There is some chemistry between Parker and Sophie but things go in several other directions. I was surprised. The writing is good, I just didn’t like a few situations.

It seems that the blurb indicates that Parker will be the main attraction with a side of Bo & Roy…..

"This International Guy knows that there’s a whole world waiting for him. But as he goes from city to city—and from woman to woman—it’s possible that he just might find his own love along the way…"

I am a huge fan of Audrey Carlan! I loved the Calendar Girl series and there are some similarities with International Guy’s Parker and Calendar Girl’s Mia, but they are not obvious. I hope that as International Guy moves forward it will develop deeper connections for Parker in his international journeys.

3.5 stars

It's like Queer Eye, but these guys are not queer. I think that's what I liked the most about this novel because I love the show Queer Eye and how they make people feel better about themselves. I feel like that's what Parker, Bo, and Royce were going for with their different abilities. They take their knowledge of fashion, hair/makeup, business, and self-esteem to help women with their lives. It was also interesting to see a romance novel narrated by the guy the whole time.

Now, the reason for my rating is that I like this idea, but I didn't like how it was handled. There was a subplot about sexual harassment and respecting woman that I thought was fine, but I felt like Parker was being a hypocrite. When he first meets Sophia he is ALL over her and then has the gall to be all "never touch a woman!" And I'm thinking "that's what you just did!" It doesn't matter that she's going to end up sleeping with you later.
I also didn't expect that ending and was a bit disappointed by it even if I'm not a fan of him.

This one is weird. Not even sure why I finished it. I'd heard good things about Carlan's work, but I'm mightily disappointed.

It started out with promise. Three college friends -- Parker, Royce, and Bogart -- co-own a company called International Guy. It's a lame moniker for a cool business. Each guy has a special skill set and together they do life makeovers, improving people's businesses, their self-confidence, and/or their social lives. They're Hitch-plus-Queer-Eye-plus-business-coach.

In this installment, they head to Paris to work with a young woman who recently took over the helm of a large corporation after the death of her father. Sophie's sharp and eager, but mousy and untried. The IG team does what they do: the money guy goes through the financials and helps her spot potential problems, and the style guy fills her closet with designer labels, and the third guy (Parker) takes her to bed. What?

Parker essentially thinks with his wiener. It's like his compass: it points; he follows. Upon meeting Sophie for the first time, his divining rod perks up so he begins to seduce her. Yet, he's not a suave, sophisticated gentleman. He's supposed to be 29 years old, but he has the manners and the vocabulary of a teenage frat wannabe. There's also a lot of weird language used in the sexy scenes.

And then -- spoiler alert -- they don't even fall in love! They bang for a couple weeks while the other guys work on her style and her business, and then they go their separate ways! And based on the blurbs of the other books, that's the way it continues. In each book, Parker bangs another woman to higher self-esteem and then leaves her behind.

IG is a sexi novel about three guys who have been best friends for ever and work together. Their company helps women achieve their goals, whichever they are, provided they are legal.
Once I got past the idea of thre men "rescuing/helping" women bloom, I really enjoyed the story.
Background on the characters appears naturally in the narration, learning about their personal histories wasn't forced.
I liked that the girl in the story isn't a shy mouse who doesn't know what she wants until the hero/man tells her what she needs. It's just a girl that finds herself in a situation in which she needs help, and she hires IG to get help her. She is capable of speaking for herself and expressing her desires.
Of course, there's lot of sex in the story, sometimes just the character's fantasies, sometimes "the real deal".
I enjoy the story told from a male perspective, and I think what I liked the most is that there's no misunderstading or some evil character trying to get in the way of the main characters.
Thanks NetGalley for giving me this book.

He hires two friends whose areas of expertise complement his own. They comprise The Dream Maker, The Love Maker, and The Money Maker. Together, they advise the wealthiest people in the world: Hollywood hotshots, European royalty, and the CEOs of multibillion-dollar companies. And sometimes they can’t help it when things heat up and they end up in bed with their clients. Quite literally. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Audrey Carlan is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

I really enjoyed this book. The book is about three friends and there amazing business. The way they helped Sophie with her confidence in herself and as a CEO was amazing. If I was ever in her position I would definitely seek out International Guys.

I only gave this book 2 stars as I did not particularly like the main character and his attitude to life. Not sure I will be reading the rest of the series.

Oh my goodness! This is quintessential Audrey Carlan in her happy writing place. This takes me back to when Calendar Girl was first coming out and I fell in love with Audrey and her books.

Meeting the men of International Guy you really get the insight into what might make them tick and what led them to being the "makers" they are.

Parker "Dream Maker" Ellis is the leading man of IG and also our main protagonist throughout our world journey.

Bogart "Bo" "Lovemaker" Montgomery is the man that can woo any woman and helps them find their own love.

Royce "Moneymaker" Sterling who is the business guru of the trio. He is able to look at a company or situation and provide in depth analysis for the best course of action.

In Paris, we get to meet Sophie Rolland who is suddenly in charge of her families billion dollar company after her father passed. Sophie is out of her comfort zone and not feeling very confident. The men of IG are able to come in and help build her up to a place that she is able to run her company without feeling overwhelmed.

Audrey has done it again and given us a great start to new must read series!

Smoking HOT read from the male POV. This installment is about a business heiress who needs help coming into her own and being taken serious in a male dominated company.
This is a great start for a 12 novella series that gives us a glimpse of all 3 partners and the family that they have made with a bond that is thicker than blood.
BRING ON NEW YORK!! (International Guy #2)
