Gabriel tells Em is fantasy is to seem Em with another guy, and he knows just the guy he wants Em to sleep with its Nye, the only other guy to be a temptation. Once Gabriel's games starts, Em soon realizes there is more to this game than Gabriel getting off on watching Em with another man.
What starts as a fantasy soon turns into more. Em, Nye and Gabriel start meeting weekly, and while things start off well, Em can see the desire that is shared between Nye and Gabriel, but Gabriel denies it.
This book took a twist I wasn't expecting, it was interesting but I just didn't connect with any of the characters as much as I wanted to connect with them. It was still a good book, just not for me.
Gabriel had one thing he wanted and he would play a little game until everything came together. Definitely an interesting quick read!
UGH....if you're looking for a book with a plot don't look here.
The blurb sounded interesting, but once you get into the book you realize it's far too short for you to really get into it. First off the "book" finishes at 85% according to my kindle; the remaining 15% is filled with plugs for the author's other books. There is no back story, no character development and no real connection built. We jump into Gabriel telling his girlfriend that he wants to watch her with another guy. Then we fast forward a day or two and to him actually arranging it. The relationship between Em and Gabriel isn't well developed in the story. There's hints of bedroom exploration previously in their relationship but it's not well explained. Then you have the introduction of Nye; we're told that Em is attracted to him and that Gabriel is aware of this. Why not build this up ahead of time? OR perhaps give some flashbacks to awkward moments between the two in the past?
Okay...then you have Gabriel and Nye....that was a surprise but not bothersome. What was bothersome is that it felt completely out of left field. There was no development of that attraction or discussion whether each had experimented previously. Based on how it happened, my gut was that this wasn't the first time for Gabriel but why wasn't this explored and discussed?
The book had so much potential if it was developed into a full length novel. But as a novella, it fell short. Not to mention the incredible amount of typos, grammar errors and just wrong use of words. I'm surprised to find out that this is a rerelease.
I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book
I can honestly say that Madelynn Ellis did a great job bringing the heat. This book is short but packs a lot within its short pages.
An erotic little novellette from the author of my first erotica books.
Madelynn Ellis is as explicit as I've ever read. This little short of hers is straight up porn. Sweet, sexy and hot as hell.
It still needs some line editing which will hopefully happen before it's published. But I can safely recommend it for a few minutes of adult fun.
Liked this read, just wish there was more of it. Gabriel tells his wife Em his fantasy is to watch her with his best friend Nye. What will happen when he wants more than to just watch. Fast-paced read with lots of steam.
Gabriel's Naughty Game by Madelynn Ellis is your basic menage story. It's starts as a game with Gabriel and his girlfriend Em bringing in Nye. This is a super quick read and fairly straightforward once you get past the initial uncertainty of will she or won't she.
Gabriel's Naughty Game is a short erotic tale of Em, Gabriel, and Gabriel’s best friend Niall. A bit disjointed in part but overall a good erotic story
DNF so will not be rating or reviewing. Thank you for the opportunity to read this title.
I voluntarily read an Advance Review Copy of this book through Netgalley. This is a very erotic short story involving Gabriel, Nye and Em. What starts with Gabe wanting to watch Em with Nay evolves into the three of them together. It is a good quick read.
“I want to see you with another guy.”
After Gabriel tells me his fantasy, I want to laugh it off, pretend it’s a joke. But, I know it isn’t—he’s serious. I’m all for a little daring in the bedroom, but this is too risky. It gets even worse when Gabriel reveals who he wants me to sleep with: Nye, the only other man who’s ever tempted me.
A short novella that I read in a sitting, it’s an erotic story told form Em’s point of view, that because it’s so short doesn’t have much backstory although some does emerge towards the end of the story & as Em says what Gabriel wants Gabriel gets. It’s a titillating story but not the authors best work
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
GABRIEL’S NAUGHTY GAME by Madelynne Ellis is an adult, contemporary, stand alone, erotica, menage romance focusing on Em, her lover Gabriel, and Gabriel’s best friend Niall aka Nye.
NOTE: GABRIEL’S NAUGHTY GAME is a re-release of the author’s original 2012 novella.
Told from first person point of view (Em) GABRIEL’S NAUGHTY GAME follows Em as she struggles with Gabriel’s request to watch while his best friend has $ex with the woman he claims to love. Enter Niall aka Nye, Em’s secret fantasy, and the man Gabriel privately desires for himself. As Em and Nye give Gabriel exactly what he is hoping for, Gabriel craves more than to watch from the side.
GABRIEL’S NAUGHTY GAME is a story of erotica therefore there is no character building, limited world building, and no backstory or history revealed to the reader. It is what it is –a quick, provocative, erotica read to titillate and arouse your curiosity.
