Fantastically funny standalone romance. The writing is great and sucks you into Vince and Emma's story. What a story it is. Not your typical romance.
Vince gets a call that his brother was hurt during active duty. When he gets to the hospital, he's hit by a door being opened by a beautiful woman. Emma has had a crush on the doctor she works for since high school. Now that he's single, she's trying to get Stephan's attention. Her friend Macy suggests a fake romance to get Stephen's attention.
Told in both Vince and Emma's POV.

This is the first book I have read by Donna Michaels and I was taken by surprise by this 4.5-Star well developed, exciting, fun storyline. Emma decides that she needs to employ drastic measures for the doctor, her long time crush, to take notice & ask her out. She decides what will work best is for the doctor to think someone else is interested in her and she feels the best man for the job is her neighbors brother. Vince is retired military and there is no way they could have more than a fake relationship because Emma has swore off military men. But what neither Emma or Vince expected was the hot & steamy, instantaneous chemistry, the spark of heat, they both felt when they were pretending. As they learn more about each while spending time together in their fake relationship could something else be developing between them after all. Emma realizes the doctors indifference to her and Vince as Vince begins to question is Emma could fall for a military man. Betwwen their hot & sexy encounters and the humorous witty banter this well written fake romance Army Ranger with Benefits is certainly worth one-clicking. Definitely recommend adding this sweet yet sexy, fun read to your Kindle library!

Emma has sworn off military men for personal relationships, but she is friends with one (Dom) who lives next door. She watches his home when he is deployed. When Dom is hurt and has to return home to recuperate his brother (Vince) comes from Texas to help him. Vince is an ex-military man. Emma thinks he is an intruder when she finds Vince inside her neighbor's home. Add to this that Emma is attracted to a doctor who she wants to date, and the doctor does not seem to know she exists on that level. When Dom suggests that Vince fake date Emma the fun begins.

This is a wonderfully entertaining book that is filled with humor and emotion. I was pulled into the story right from the start. It made me laugh, and it pulled at my emotions. The story is well-written and moves at a very good pace. The characters are interesting and very likable and realistic. Love me some strong military guys who are good-hearted! It's got some really good steamy sex in it too! WINNER!!! : ) I'll be reading more from this author.

Emma, oh sweet Emma. She thought she wanted a guy from her past but when she literally runs into Vince, she's done with that guy, even if she doesn't realize it yet. Vince and his cooking, sweet and sexy ways, and loyalty is just everything. Loved this book and now I need to go back and read the others that came before it in the series!

I loved it. I love a great feel good book and this reminded me of the second book of the series (Her Ranger's Arms) This shouted contemporary romance and really shouted light hearted read. I've read all of the previous books in the series in the past year so I was familiar with the underlying theme and this one didn't disappoint. I'm glad we got to revisit some of the old characters. This is well-worth the read if you've read the others in the series and if you're new to the series, then you can also read as a standalone.

This is book 4 in The Men of At-Ease Ranch series and it features Vince and Emma. This is a sweet, sexy romance where neither had any interest in a relationship with the other but things happen when you’re spending a lot of time with each other. There’s a lot to be said about making assumptions regarding someone else’s life altering choices.

I LOVE this series! The guys and their better halves are fabulous! Great characters and great story lines keep me coming back for more. I can’t wait for my next visit!

I didn't realize it was the 4th book in a series when I downloaded it. It can totally be read as a stand alone. It was a fun read, with some deepness to it, but not overwhelmingly so. I plan on adding the others in the series to my TBR.

Vince Acardi is ex-military and part owner of a ranch for Vets having trouble transitioning back to civilian life. He is their cook and loves his job. When his brother Dominic is injured in the line of duty, he goes to help him recover.

Emma Roberts has lived next to Dom for several years and they have a sibling like relationship. She watches and takes care of his house while he’s on tour. She works for a doctor group attached to the local hospital as a medical transcriber and coder. She has been interested in one of the doctors in the practice since they were in high school but the interest was never returned. She’s decided to try to make him jealous and get his attention by “dating” someone else. Since Vince, Dom’s brother, is only in town for a couple weeks, and she isn’t dating any more military men, he’s the perfect candidate.

Vince isn’t sure how he got roped into “pretending” to date Emma, but there’s no denying they have chemistry. Pretending soon becomes real but neither one wants to admit it.

It has taken me awhile to write this review because I go back and forth. Some parts of the book are funny and sweet. Other parts bored me because the same thing is said about 50 different ways throughout the book. I found myself drawn more to the side characters than the main two. Not good. I wanted more on Leo and Dom

I loved this story, the author is relatively new to me and I can honestly say that I will be looking for more book from her. Haley and Cord were fabulous characters

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

For the most part the story was written rather well. Little thrown off by the female lead characters name. Simply couldn't get the image of Julia Roberts niece out of my head. Otherwise the story kept getting better as I read. I would recommend to anyone who loves military romance.

Ranger with benefits by Donna Michaels is a fun lighthearted romance. You cannot help but like Emma and the situations she gets herself into with her friend Macy. She has a crush on a doctor. She is good friends with her neighbor Dom who is active military. Dom is wounded which brings his brother Vance to help him recover. Dom and Vance who are brothers had great banter with each other. Vance was exmilitary and works with other ex-military soilders. He is also a chef which led to some great scenes with them cooking. My favorite part was that he was so intense on the plan to help the doctor fall for Emma. Also a great display a friendship between Dom and Emma. The story was predictable but fun to follow along and get lost in. I had not read the other books in the series and felt this one could be read on its own. I am hoping that Dom and his physical therapist get their own story.
Cursing is probably a four since the F word is used a lot. I’m assuming because their military. Sex is a 3.5. Several detailed scenes.Drinking is it to. She did have too much to drink one night at the bar.

I loved this book it was a great read. Both Vincent and Emma are amazingly easy to fall in love, are great persons with a great personality. Because of Vince brother, they get to know each other and start fake dating. But the attraction between them is to strong and fake soon become very real. Ther is just one thing all the miles that separate them, will love be strong enough? Enjoyable read like the previous books in the series. I enjoyed reading this one and was positively surprised by the makeup.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

I have to be honest every time I read a book in this series I fall in love with it all over again. The book s just get better with each one. I loved Emma and Vince. Their "fake" relationship to help get Emma her crush doesn't go as planned. Emma and Vince are just too adorable together. They had heat, but this book was just a joy to read. I loved the interaction between Vince and his brother Dom. Some of the more funnier moments. That's another thing that I loved about this book was the bursts of humor especially towards the end. I highly recommend this book along with the rest of the series. It has the perfect combination of heat, humor, and heart.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the men and women of At Ease Ranch. Vince and Emma were no exception. While I still highly recommend Army Ranger With Benefits, I didn’t absolutely love it. Like the three previous books it was still very well written, humorous and touching but these two didn’t sizzle like the others to me.

The premise is fun, fake date to get a guy’s attention but of course we know they’re going to get serious about each other.

Michaels creates realistic, full-fleshed characters and writes great dialog. She’s good at catching some of the military alpha male characteristics and avoids getting so detailed as to introduce errors.

I remain a fan of Michaels and this series and can easily recommend both to readers.

Emma Roberts has been trying to get the doctor that she works for to ask her out. She's had a crush on him, forever, and she's not giving up even though he's not acting very interested. Time is marching on and Emma is losing hope for a date in the future when her neighbor, Dominic Acardi, is returning home with injuries he has sustained from a military deployment overseas. He gets his brother, ex-Army Ranger Vince Acardi to fly in to help him out. Since Dom is not only her next door neighbor but also a good friend, Emma runs over to check on Dom and runs right into Vince! The story moves on and really has a sweet plot with these two irresistible main characters. A great addition to the contemporary romance genre.

When his brother is injured on a mission, former Army Ranger Vince Acardi rushes to his side to help in his recovery. However, when he meets Emma Roberts, he never imagined he'd be helping her to win the heart of the guy she really wants. Yet, the more time they spend together, the more Vince finds himself doing the one thing he never thought he'd ever do again -- falling in love. Will Vince and Emma be able to overcome the obstacles they face to be together, or will their past demons keep them apart?

What an incredible and very entertaining read Ms. Michaels has delivered in this fourth book of her Men of At-Ease Ranch series where the main characters were enthralling due to their back stories and their growing relationship; the dialogue was compelling and a wonderful combination of intense moments and playful banter that had me laughing at times and sympathizing with both characters at others; and the storyline was fast-paced and drew me in immediately because Vince is loyal and will do anything for family.

As for the main characters, I absolutely loved these two together. Certainly, there was fun to be had, especially the moments where the heroine is determined for them to be where her dream man is hanging out. Let's hear it for bowling alleys and getting a little too tipsy at a bar. Furthermore, the heroine is strong, brave and I liked that she was willing to accept Vince's help, even if it meant being bribed into accepting. I also liked the close friendship she had with her best friend; a woman that's an absolute hoot since she's determined to see Emma happy. While the hero, he's loyal, confident and I liked how far he was willing to go to help the heroine. Why not show the other guy what he's missing out on by flaunting their fake relationship in front of him? I also liked the tight bond he shared with his friends who aren't afraid to give their advice when it comes to the hero's future with Emma. Yet, what I liked most of all are the jokes the hero and his brother play on each other, especially when it comes to making sure his brother isn't left alone.

Overall, Ms. Michaels has delivered a worthwhile read in this book and one not to be missed, especially if you enjoy this series. Moreover, this story was filled with plenty of chemistry between this couple; chemistry that was off-the-charts and had me hoping for the best for this couple while the ending wrapped this story up perfectly because the heroine had the courage to go after what she wanted -- Vince. I would recommend Army Ranger with Benefits by Donna Michaels, if you enjoy the fake relationship trope or books by authors Cora Seton, Sable Hunter, Lynn Raye Harris and Katie Reus.

I really enjoyed Army Ranger with Benefits by Donna Michaels.

The writing is well done, the storyline is sweet, heartwarming and I loved watching the relationship develop between Vince and Emma develop.
These two made me smile and they made me swoon. I was very happy they got their happily ever after.

The Men of At Ease Ranch Series has been such a lovely read, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all!

I think this is a wonderful series and Army Ranger with Benefits fits in perfectly. I had a smile on my face while reading and was caught laughing out loud several times throughout the book.

Emma is sweet, sassy and looking for Mr Right in Mr. Wrong. Vince shows up at the perfect time and sweeps her off her feet. I loved the dynamic this couple had. You could totally see them as friends first who cares for each other.

They both wanted what was her for each other but in the end they knew it was the other person.

I'm looking forward to reading about the rest of the series.
