As two children and their governess show up at the Dukes estate, they proceed to turn his life upside down and on the right track. Heartwarming and romantic, Quincy gives a detailed story with some surprises that comes full circle.

Part of this is truly a good story, a rakish Duke, gaining custody of two little girls! However, the graphic sexual content is beyond the pale! Just stay with the great charming story! Use the word orgie, we all know what it means. Plus, who calls a Duke, and grown man, Sunny? Please! Then the editing missed out on the fact that Viscount's Children are only Honorable Miss, or Mr. A Duke, Marquess's, and Earl's children are Lady first name, Lord first name.
Thanks!

Loved it. It’s an old trope but she pulls it off with humor and warmth.

First book I've read by Diana Quincy and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. She has done a marvelous job of writing this romance. Good solid historical feel. I really liked Isabel but Adam took a little getting used to. Good overall .

I am voluntarily submitting my honest review after receiving an ARC of this ebook via NetGalley.

This is a fun, sassy read with lots of witty banter, nicely juxtaposed with emotional, poignant moments of true growth and transformation. The tarnished and battered hearts of our hero and heroine find a second chance in unlikely places, but it will take courage and fortitude to seize it. While this is my first Diana Quincy book, it won't be my last!

The Duke Who Ravaged Me is an entertaining book about a wild young Duke and a governess..
Through the first half of the book I didn't care for Adam Fairfax, fifth Duke of Sunderford. "Sunny" was more than just wild and carefree. He was just unlikable. But when he turned himself around he became a different person completely.
Isabel Finch was a very dedicated governess to twin girls. She was horrified to be living under Sunny's roof.
Each of them had histories and pain to get over or get through.
They were an unlikely pair who found that they belonged together.

Intrigue, deception and lots of hot sex kept me wanting to not have to put the book down. Ms. Quincy is an excellent storyteller and I can't wait to read more of her stories.

While this is a typical romance, something about it didn't appeal to me, Nothing stood out as being particularly different, in fact I felt the playroom was an attempt to bring in a Fifty Shades of Grey feel into the regency genre.

Interesting nickname for such a debauched character.

Have you never seen little girls, man?

Geez, nice nephew.

Nice one, Doc.

Sucks to be the least objectionable one in the family, doesn't it.

Sheesh, his parents sound charming.

Eww. Who knows what kind of germs are on that swing.

Liver for breakfast?

I predict these girls will soon have him twisted around their little fingers.

Why won't she tell him about herself, even something small like where she's from?

So she's not a virgin then?

He just told her she was too ugly to dally with!

Why does the good doctor seem to hate Adam? I thought they were friends?

Why on earth would she be awaiting your seduction in the dining room, you conceited man?

I can't imagine going swimming fully dressed. And weights in a swimsuit? A man thought that up.

Ugh, Abigail, why?!

Holy cracker! Great twist!

Thank goodness mothers have more rights now.

This was a well-written, entertaining Regency romance. Adam Fairfax, the Duke of Sunderford, enjoys a self-indulgent lifestyle, until governess, Isabel Finch, arrives on his doorstep with his two wards, seven year old twin girls. Isabel has secrets in her past she wants to keep hidden. Over time sparks fly between Isabel and Adam and they move from disagreements to attraction. I very much enjoyed this book and look forward to reading other books by this author.

Adam Fairfax, the Duke of Sunderland, has a nickname. He is known as Sinful Sunny. The reader is treated to an introduction which includes very specific details of how Sunny conducts himself. He is not a good guy.

He finds that his life has been interrupted by a governess, Isabel Finch and her two charges, Patience and Prudence, his 7 year old twin cousins.

The Fairfax family has become smaller and smaller and Sunny as the Duke and family leader is the logical person who should be the guardian for these children. He does not accept that fact at all. He does not intend to give up his lifestyle and his playroom easily.

When it is determined he is stuck with the present situation, he is sure he can live his life as he chooses and simply ignore the children and the prim and proper governess.

Patience and Prudence are hard to ignore. They are cheerful, charming and curious. Each of them have separate interests and each of them ask countless questions. They are star characters in this story.

Finch on the other hand wants to be in the shadows. She does not intend to be involved with the Duke if she can avoid it. And she believes the less anyone knows of her, her life will be simpler.

But, since Sunny considers her a challenge he cannot resist teasing and sparring with her.
He is surprised that she constantly voices her opinion and generally her opinion of him is not a good one. Someone voicing a true opinion is a new experience for him.

The characters of Sunny and Finch are very well defined. It is evident he is trying to erase the damage done to him by his parents. The story is populated by half siblings who are all illegitimate children of his self-rightous father. Sunny has made sure to help each of the ones he could find.

She has a past which remains hidden. She loves the girls and has done a wonderful job caring for them. That is all she considers important in her life. At times she misses her past, but nothing is worth losing her life with the girls.

This plot is different from many historical romances. Sunny is not a likable man when we first meet him. He is the very definition of self involved. His changed attitudes does not come quickly. Slowly and steadily he finds his view of his life is not exactly as entertaining and satisfying as he thought in the past. Isabel has no intention of opening herself up to Sunny. But, the longer she lives in his home, the more she begins to see him as a man who has good qualities. The twins seem to bring out the best in everyone they meet.

I enjoyed this book and I liked all the characters. I enjoyed the entertaining conversations whether between Sunny and the twins or Sunny and Isabel. The dialog is perfect for the characters. Ms Quincy has done an excellent job.
I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley. I am voluntarily writing this review and all opinions are my own.

This novel was a great read. Ms. Quincy added some plot twists that I did not see coming all!! I enjoyed how the relationship developed between the two characters. While both were attracted to other, they did not immediately like each other at all. Adam Fairfax, the Duke of Sunderford, at the request of his uncle, becomes the guardian of twin girls. Adam enjoys the life of a bachelor, the woman, and everything that goes with it. When the twins and their governess "invade" his home, he wants to find a way to remove them immediately. Isabel Finch has a past that could ruin her. She cares for the twins and always does what is in their best interests. She avoids others by appearing ordinary. She does not want the girls under Adam's roof and desires to take them back to their uncle. However, things begin to change between Adam and Isabel. Adam begins to care for the girls, even missing them when they are gone and Isabel sees the man behind the facade. Both cannot hide their desire for one another, but Isabel does not want to be another of "Sinful Sunny's" doxies. Adam wants Isabel and believes things will return to normal after he has her. However, misunderstandings and the past affect their growing relationship. Will they both be able to see the truth before things cannot be undone?

Another great Regency romance from Ms. Quincy! I enjoyed the original storyline and usual chemistry between the hero and heroine, as well as the last minute surprise reveal. I do love this author and am always happy to read her work!

5 Stars!! This was a great book! I loved it!! I’ve never read a romance book that has the hero of the book still acting like a man-whore after meeting the heroine of the story! It was a nice change from the regular! I loved the ending & I didn’t see that surprise reveal coming!! Such a great book! I am definitely recommending this book! This is my first Diana Quincy book & it has turned me into a fan of hers! Even though this book can be read as a standalone, I so want to read the other books that came before this one in the series! Trust me- this book is worth reading!! (You’re welcome!! Ha!)

I voluntarily read an Advance Review Copy of this book through Netgalley. This book makes you fall in love with Adam, who because of his two little wards, becomes a better man. In the process he falls in love with the two little girls and Isabel. Unknown to him, Isabel is the mother of the two girls even though she serves as a governess to them. At the time in which this story takes place, women have no rights to their children as they are considered a part of the husband’s property and when her husband died, his family turned her out and took the girls away from her. After their guardian died and they went to live with a distant relative, Isabel became their governess in order to be close to them. The banter between Adam and Isabel is a great read and the book holds your attention to the very end. I thoroughly loved this book, it keeps you attention to the very end. I would highly recommend this book.

A delightfully sensual historical romance.
Highly descriptive scenes to fire your imagination.
Adam Fairfax's dissolute lifestyle is disrupted by a governess and her two charges and he id not happy.
The governess, Isobel Finch isn't any happier, but there is more to both than it first appears.
You are drawn into the tale as it progresses and you come to know the players. It's impossible not to root for the pair, especially after some of the interaction between them.
The surprise at the end makes it an uplifting love story.
I requested and thoroughly enjoyed my ARC copy.

In a genre saturated with clichés and tired plotlines, “The Duke Who Ravished Me” stands out as a refreshing take on a rake reformed with a surprising twist.

From the beginning, the reader is introduced to an interesting cast of characters. Sinful Sunny, as he is known, is depicted perfectly as the rake he is meant to be. More often than not, rakes in historical novels are simply labeled as rakes, but do not indulge or act like true rakes. The author does not pull any punches, however, and shows him at his most indulgent…and depraved. It makes his transformation that much more notable.

Finch acts as his perfect foil. As uptight and stiff as the bun she always wears, Finch’s number one priority is the young charges in her care. Rounded out with a rambunctious pair of twins, a hopeful butler, and well-meaning but clueless friends, you have a story driven by authentic and flawed characters.

Quincy is not only a talented writer, she is a creative story teller. Her style is smooth and flows easily, bringing her story to life while making it interesting. In a story filled with secrets, the reader thinks they have it all figured out in the end. They are completely unprepared for the twist Quincy throws in at the last minute.

Fans of steamy historical romance won’t want to miss this read. If you are wanting more sweet than sexy, look elsewhere because this novel is explicit as it heartwarming.

The Duke Who Ravished Me is my first book by Diana Quincy so I didn't know what to expect. What a fantastic surprise. Ms. Quincy has delivered a book that is well-written and packed with outstanding, lovable characters. Adam is a rake and is shocked when his uncle sends two young girls to be his wards. Isabel is the governess of the two girls and is willing to fight for them. Isobel and Adam's story is filled with drama, humor (Kudos to Ms. Quincy for the perfect blend of humor in this story.), a little angst and of course, sexy bits. This book hooked me at page 1 and held me captive until the end. I look forward to reading more from Diana Quincy in the future. The Duke Who Ravished Me is book 4 of the Rebellious Brides Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
