Am I Enough? is wonderful book for teenage girls and young women. Based on her own experiences, Gace identifies the lies that many teens believe about their identity and self-worth. She talks about her struggles with these lies and how she overcame them through her faith in Jesus. The message of this book is: You are enough, no matter what you did, what you look like and what others think of you.
The cover is gorgeous and the style of writing is very accessible. I think that many teen girls can relate to Grace's experiences and will enjoy and benefit from the encouragement. In my opinion, there could have been a bit more of Scripture in relation to her own experiences, but overall, this was a very good book and better than some others that I have read about the same topic. Recommended.

Honestly, one of the best books I’ve read! Grace really speaks truth! This is a great read, no matter what your faith is. Grace helps you understand that we are all imperfect, different human beings, and that we are enough for Him and He will take us and polish us so that we can see the real beauty within us.

I wish this book was written 40 years ago..I am...enough is a great book that the author, Grace Valentine shares her experiences and doubts for all of us to remember and have a (oh my goodness) moment. ...Her Real Talk segments after each chapters like this one from chapter 8 “Have you judged someone for their sins? • What do you think motivated you to judge them? • What should you have done instead of judging them? • Pray for understanding, empathy, and a heart that loves your brothers and sisters in Christ rather than having an attitude that judges them for their words and actions. Should make All of us look to ourselves and want to be a better person...a person who walks with the Lord and for the Lord. I want my daughters and granddaughters to read this book! I really loved Am I Enough. It was such a great and motivational book. In Am I Enough Grace talks about the lies that we believe and what we should be believing instead. This book helped me in so many ways and I was able to come back to God in a lot of ways and really focus on the things that I needed to believe instead of the lies I'd believed for so long.

There are times that I often wonder if I am enough. Am I enough for my husband, for my kids, for my grandchildren? Am I enough for God? This is something we all struggle with and it is happening more and more with young women. They see how much emphasis is put on beauty, on high end clothes, shoes, handbags and even cars. The culture is extremely toxic, hard to live in. What is the answer to this problem?

Grace Valentine’s new book Am I Enough? Embracing the Truth About Who You Are will help you see that you are enough. Grace has experienced these same issues and she is telling us her story to confront the lies that women hear everyday. Some of these lies are:

You are beautiful because a guy told you so,
Love must be earned,
You should forget your past,
You will never be enough, and the list goes on.

These lies tear us down, cause us to doubt who we really are, and doubt that we are worth of love. These lies are wrong, we are enough. God tell us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are made in is image. We belong to Him. He also tells us “You are enough for me, come as you are.”

I recommend picking up a copy of Am I Enough? today! This is definitely a life-changing book.

I am so happy for the chance to read this book, and even more so at the fact that this will be available to young women everywhere. Something that absolutely makes this book a blessing is the fact that the author has reinforced her words with actual scripture. Wonderful book!

Although I think what it written can apply to women of all ages, it is very much for pre-teen and early teen readers, maybe an early college student. Not exactly the content, but the way the information is presented is easily digestible for a younger crowd. The book's description didn't really give me any indication of this, and while I am not disappointed with what I read, I was expecting something a bit more adult focused.

If you've ever asked yourself the question "Am I---- Enough?" then this book is right up your alley! Read it.
I reckon, there's so much that rules and societal expectations have put on us that we forget to live to cherish our lives and our bodies and dreams. Getting to read this book off Netgalley was timely, thanks for the advance digital copy.
