I would like to thank Netgalley for letting me review this book and Leslie North for writing a superb and sexy series.
Leonardo Romano is the eldest of the Romano brothers and also the most stubbornist one out of them. He's a high flying entrepreneur who has loads of hotels under the Romano Hotel business. He's been called back to do what he does best with their family resort The Romano del Mare, but one person is in his way and that's Stella Brown. A woman who wrote a cease and desist BEFORE she saw the building. She's on a mission that will either make or break her job. But when she meets the hunky and gorgeous Leonardo Romano, she can't resist dragging him to her way of thinking. Has Leonardo met his match in Stella Brown or has Stella gone a step too far with what her job title is all about?
All will be revealed in the final part of The Romano Brothers.
Actual Rating: 3.5
This was an enjoyable read. I thought the story was good, but could have been better. The characters were great. Leonardo was sexy and compassionate. Stella was smart and independent. Together, they were cute and they had amazing chemistry. Also, the ending was sweet. I can’t wait to read more Leslie North books. Overall, a great read.
Thrilling conclusion to a highly entertaining series. Emotionally engaging, action packed and humorous battle of wills between two people destined to love but at the opposing sides of a very passionate struggle.
Leonardo Romano is a head strong, charming and sexy hotel magnet returned home to do his part to bring back the family resort and entice visitors to revel in the lap of luxury. Stella Brown is a sexy, sassy and determined historical preservationist committed to getting the Romano's to conform to international preservation laws and saving the history of the resort. Can they do both??? Loved every heart pounding heated battle, twist and turn.

ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
Leslie North once again writes a great romance !
You will be captivated by the beauty of Sicily as Nicolo & Adeline work together to save the family resort that has come to mean so much to the both of them.
Loved their story - great read !!
Leonardo Romano is tasked to fill the renovated family property with guests while Stella comes to stop new changes and to press to preserve the historical. These two must reach a compromise for both their tasks and their growing feelings.
Last of the Romano brothers finds his match.
Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.
Leonardo had taken a temporary office in the Romano del mare. The structure repairs were almost complete. Ow it was Leonardo’s turn to apply hid personal mastery to the resort to again accept vacationers. Everything Everything the vacationers ate, touched smelt and much of which they saw would become.Much of what they saw would be because of Leonardo’s vision of what an amazing resort experience. Well that was how Leonardo intended it but matters were being pulled out of his control. Leonardo did not like not being in control ever. Leonardo felt trapped under a million decisions and there was no escaping . He looked at a beautiful woman by the cliffs and she appeared to have a sense of freedom by the teetering edge of the cliff. Leonardo was signing a contract between romano International and Gallant Industries. But he was growing uneasy that he was signing too much of his control. Leonardo had personally overseen the launch and relaunch of hundreds of spas and resorts and had built a chain of Romano hotels that spanned the globe. Then the woman he had seen was at his office door and said she was Stella Brown and she had been sent by the International Preservation Society to enforce the preservation laws and to direct him on how to rewrite his renovation plans. Stella felt men weren’t supposed to be so good looking as Leonardo isin real life.It made it hard to think and Stella’s job was on the line. Stella had a no- holds -barred zest for life which wasn’t within everyone’s comfort zone. Leonardo found out they had in fact had broken preservation laws. With Stella’s vision they would never make back the millions of euros they had already had put into the resort. Leonardo seen Stella and invited her to lunch in town, and she accepted. While at the restaurant Leonardo asked about the scar down her chest and Adeline said she had very sick but had been given a new heart. Saving abused or overlooked treasures had been Stella’s job since she had graduated college. After lunch Stella asked Leonardo to take her someplace and it turned out ot be an old book store but to Stella’s surprise leonardo was already well known there. Leonardi bought books about the old west. Leonardo said sometimes what you do and are good at is not who you are. Then Stella offered herself for a kiss and the one she got curled her toes. Since the kiss two weeks ago and leonardo couldn’t get it off his mind. Leonardo wanted time to get to know Stella and to spend time with her. Stella was different from anyone leonardo had ever spent time with or had romantic feelings for. Stella seemed fragile and delicate to Leonardo Stella met Adeline at the resort and she told Stella Leonardo really liked her. One Stautday Stella came to the resort and Leonardo was outside while the lawyers were arguing about the renovations inside. Leonardo and Stella went for a walk to a private beach Leonardo's family owned an old sign that said topless- Leonardo had made it a long time ago. Leonardo and Stella ended up in the sea naked and then they became lovers. Leonardo had no choice but to go with the original plans for the resort. When he told Stella she told him to go ahead and build a wall around his heart.and he did so he thought. Then Leonardo got paperwork from the preservation Society. He finally gave up and left the Romano del Mare. leonardo left Italy without any word to anyone. But Stella still found him.
I loved this book. I thoroughly enjoyed this quick, fun, romantic read. I learned about what historical landmarks and renovating old buildings. Also what an owner can go through with these types of properties. I loved the pace and the plot. I loved leonardo and Stella together. I enjoyed all three books in this series and read them im order as that helped to keep everything straight. But for some reason this was my favorite. I found nothing to criticize in this book. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and i highly recommend.
Leandro returned home to help his brothers restore his family’s legacy. He thought they were on track to finish. That all changed when’s Stella arrived. She was full of life and would throw his world into a tailspin in more ways than one. Loved the series and how each Romano brother would realize there is more to life than surpassing the next challenge.
This was the final book in the trilogy. This was my least favorite of the three. I felt the story could’ve developed more. It just moved a little too quick.
This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
While you can read this book as a stand alone, it really is better to read the books in order for maximum benefit. This is the third book in the series, and the family resort is still under construction and still facing issues with the preservation society.
Stella comes to Sicily and during her time there falls for Leonardo and also realized that her original idea to shut down the resort was wrong.
Lots of twists in the road to their HEA but the ending was great as Leonardo and Stella realize that their relationship is more important than the resort. Fortunately, Stella did not give up on the resort and found an alternative there,
This is a great third book in the Romano brothers series. A great way to end a fantastic series with this book. The characters are real well written especially when they are interacting with each other and I love the chemistry between them too. Really brings the story together and really suits the storyline Leslie North has written. Well done Leslie North on all 3 books and fantastic series and I can’t wait to see what she writes next. I totally recommend both this book and series to everyone
Leonardo has his own ideas about the design for the restoration of the family place in Italy. He has signed a company to help make it happen. Along comes Stella who tells him that he cannot do what he wants with what has been in the family for generations. She works for the preservation society who oversees the true historical places around the world. They have an attraction for each other but he cannot give in to his attraction and to doing what needs to be done for the family. Can they find a way?
Chase Me/Make Me
Stubbornness is the hero's stock in trade, but Stella has history and the law on her side. The couple sprawls their tumultuous relationship across two continents, having fights that could have been consequential, but mostly ended with one of them storming off to another country. It wasn't bad, but did lack a maturity I was expecting at points, although the sensitive treatment of a medical issue was quite well done.
Leslie North’s books are always good when you want a quick and entertaining read. I have really been enjoying this series. Since her books tend to be trilogies, You aren’t left wanting
ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are hones
Leonardo wants to turn the resort into a "luxury" resort.
Stella is there to make sure that the resort will conform to the preservation laws.
Who will win in this battle of wills ?
I loved the storytelling + the characters
The storytelling + the character's build were awesome!
This story is the third in the series featuring the oldest Romano brother, Leonardo. Continuing to convert an ancient monastery into an exclusive resort, Leonardo encounters a determined Stella representing an international preservation society. She is extremely optimistic and certain that her plans for the monastery are the right ones. She only cares about the Historical preservation; she has no concept of the business contracts nor how anything else is affected. Leonardo and Stella fall for each other but are really not on the same page throughout most of this story. I found it difficult to really connect with either of the main characters since I felt they were both a little too narrow minded. ( Not horrible people, but not well developed adults. ). Leo and Stella have feelings for each other, but separating their private lives from their professional ones is a challenge. Can they figure out what is truly important before it’s too late? Read and discover for yourself.
I received an ARC of this story for a review.
This was definitely my favorite of the Romano brothers series! Leonardo wanted to just walk away after the going got tough, but Stella stuck to her convictions and got the job done! Here's to an awesome heroine!
A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I have read the other two books in this series and this was my least favorite. It does read as a stand alone. I like the preservation aspect but it didn't quite make sense. All reputable firms dealing with renovation and design should know the laws. That didn't make sense. I just didn't feel the vibe on this one. I wanted to like Stella because I admired her outlook on life but I just didn't. I think this shows the depth of writing. I rated this a 3.5.
I have just had my dose of Leslie North today: two books, #TheRomanoBrothersSeries and I can safely send a message to the ardent workers at the cupid factory that it's been a swoon worthy evening.
This book tales the story of Leonardo and Stella, one loves to be in control and doesn't want to give it up and the other does not give up on what she loves. A battle of hearts indeed. However, I did find it quite interesting that for once, Leo decided to take the step back and opt out and Stella had to go looking for him.
I believe my thirst for a romance novel to read has been quenched this week courtesy of NetGalley and I still say, Leslie North has a way of giving a reader such a high, with her writing style and romance.
