This was a very interesting read. It is an academic text and not one to be lightly considered for bedtime reading. Women's studies is something I've been interested in for quite some time so this slotted in well into that genre. Providing education and insight so that women can become empowered to think for themselves and guide others in their families and communities to lead more successful and sustainable lives is discussed and highlighted in this text. This is such a worthwhile read though, one that will inform many scholars and prove to be beneficial in those regions most at risk from the poor education of women through exploitation, manipulation and forced work.
