Its a fast read and full of action, I loved the ups and downs. It’s a triangle book and I love China. This was the final book in this series and I recommend to read them in order.
This is the final book in the Corrupted Hearts series and I'm really going to miss China -- I'm feeling somewhat the same as when I finished the Kathleen Turner Series which happened to be the very first series of ebooks I read when I purchased my first Kindle and that series has stuck with me for years! I still think of those characters and reminisce and re-read those books because Tiffany Snow knows how to write a love triangle! And she did it again with the Corrupted Hearts series. She always nails the romantic suspense genre with just the right amount of mystery, suspense and romance! Excellent series --definitely recommend! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
This book...
First let me say that I went back and started front he beginning of the series before I read this one.
Tiffany Snow has mastered the art of the love triangle, and I usually don’t like them in books.
But she just nailed it!
China was such a unique and special character and I loved her for the first moment!
I absolutely loved this book and this series!!!
What an ending to an incredibly good series.
China has a difficult choice to make in choosing between two men. I had my hopes on Jackson even though I had a soft spot for Clarke as well. The reader is kept in the dark, much like the two guys, right up to the moment where she finally makes her choice at the end of the book.
The love triangle is a central theme running through the series but the story is much more diverse than that. There is the mystery surrounding China's mother's death. Was she murdered? and why?
China decides to go it alone to track down her mother's killer which leads to the resurfacing of painful memories and to a father with blood on his hands. The events surrounding her mother's death are very sad and emotionally charged.
A day in the life of China Mack is full of action and suspense. It doesn't matter which mam she spends her day with she will still end up battered after fighting off dangerous criminals. The many twists and turns kept it fresh and exciting.
It helped that there was humour in the interactions between Jackson and Clarke. Their jealousy fuelled them to behave quite juvenile like at times but I liked that they could put their feelings aside to work together in helping China when she needed it the most.
I loved every minute of this series. I'm already counting the days until the next Tiffany Snow book releases.
OMG!!! My face hurts from ugly crying! There were quite a few times my eyes were leaking their water, but one major time I was crying until I couldn’t breathe! Okay, I’m going to calm down now and write this review without getting excited again, I hope.
Tiffany Snow has made it no secret Save Me is the last book of the Corrupted Hearts series. As a last book, this one does not disappoint. What is disappointing and I totally didn’t like (JUST MY OPINION!!) was who China decides to pursue a lasting relationship with (I’m not telling you if I’m #TeamJackson or #TeamClark). Before she makes her decision, she has to track down a killer.
I didn’t want to put this book down once I started it. I was sucked in with who China would choose and also her past.
Things don’t unfold quickly in the suspense department of who she’s going to decide on, but it is an intense and angsty story. This is overall a fast paced story and you’ll be finished with it before you realize it.
I loved that we got to know her mother as she digs into her past and discovers an international plot that happened decades ago pointing to her mother’s death not being an accident. And to top it off, it points to her biological father as being the potential murder.
This is definitely a roller coaster of a ride. You don’t know who to trust, where to turn, or what to feel. Be sure you have read the first 3 books before reading this one!
Tiffany Snow did not disappoint with the closure to this series! I was engaged throughout the whole book. The way the characters evolved through the book and the depth of the stories as the series continued make this a must read!!
Enjoyed this series full of alpha males and a non typical heroine..Lots of twists and turns especially at the end.
Fast paced read that I loved! Tiffany snow is a solid author who doesn’t disappoint!! This book was no exception! The ending was perfect for china and Jackson. Hmmmm. Hoping for more books with clark? Looking forward to more of her books!
On the cover we see China Mack a helicopter above the name of the author.
In this volume, we learn that he is a computer genius and that he is the former head of the vigilance of the government's secret espionage program. China will test its limits with billionaire Clark Slattery and learn that the death of his mother sixteen years ago was not accidental, she will have to do everything to know the truth. She's going to want to avenge her mother's death.
A fourth volume full of twists I loved the screenplay, the character of China is endearing, the story is captivating. I recommand it.
Where to start? I absolutely loved Save Me and wow what an awesome end to an awesome series!
You will need tissues at the ready as this book will take you on a roller coaster ride of twists and turns full of laughs and tears. (I finished reading this while on a plane and thank goodness the seat next to me was vacant as I had big tears rolling down my face.....you will too when you get there!!!)
China sets out to avenge her mother's death after finding out she was murdered. She can't do it alone and Jackson and Clark step in to help her and thus begins one hell of an adventure with such a perfect finale!!!
Thank you very much to NetGalley, the publisher and Tiffany Snow for the advance copy of Save Me my review is honest and totally unbiased in any way.
I'm so sad to see the end to China's story. She was such a unique character and I loved every book in this series. Even having the dreaded love triangle could not damper my love of this series. I honestly didn't know what man China was going to end up with, even all the way up to the end. That was pretty impressive of the author.
China will appeal to the readers who like unique heroines. She has borderline Ausperger syndrome. You see it in the way she struggles to understand sarcasm or joking behavior. She takes everything literally and she has that need to keep a rigid schedule. Most just see her as the super smart hacker/nerd who is beautiful but doesn't see that in herself. Her life goes on a tailspin when she gets embroiled into all kinds of trouble due to her hacking abilities and the attention she draws from it.
Two men who battle to be the love of China's life couldn't be more opposite in personality and looks. I fell for both of these men and would have been happy to see China with either one of them. I'm so glad to learn that the one not picked will have his own series because I loved him and want to see him happy as well.
You do need to read from book 1 since this is a continued story of China. I highly recommend it if you enjoy romantic suspense with unique characters. ARC provided by NetGalley.
I absolutely adore this series and simply can’t get enough of China Mack.
A techno geek, China has a brilliant mind and a beautiful body and it is that combination makes the men in her life fight for her love and affection. Books with a strong female lead are particularly captivating for me especially when the female is brilliant, beautiful, quirky and loved by all. Overall, this series has been like a breath of fresh air. It gave me everything that I wanted and more. The writing was strong and the storyline particularly fascinating and insightful. The blend of China’s strange OCD ways offset against her brilliant IT mind and the love triangle involving the men who will do anything to protect her was charming and delightful.
She has done it again! Tiffany Snow is one of my favorite authors because not only does she know how to make you fall in love with the most complex and unique characters, but she keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire book! Like a good roller coaster, I had moments of utter suspense, and I felt my stomach drop at times. And at the end I would definitely go stand back in an obscenely long line just to ride it again. China is a character who you can't help but root for. While the romance in this book is top notch, the journey China has made as a character throughout the series takes front seat! Thank you, Tiffany Snow for bringing this story to life!
I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley. I have been a Tiffany Snow fan for quite some time. I have read every book she has written. I've liked some more than others. The Kathleen Turner Series will always have a special place in my heart. I really liked this series because it reminded me most of the Kathleen Turner Series, and the fact that everyone's favorite bad boy, Kade Dennon keeps showing up, made me like it even more. This book gives China Mack one more interesting adventure, and as always it's filled with her unintended misadventures. Poor China can never have just a run of the mill ordinary day, and for a woman who likes order and predictability that's often hard for her to handle.
In this the last of the series, China learns a lot more about her mother, and her mother's subsequent death, which turns out wasn't totally the car crash she always thought it was. We also learn more about her father, which we learned in the last book was not the man who raised her. It's a long twisty adventure to piece together, how and why her mom died. Just when she thinks she's found all the answers, she ends up with more questions.
By her side trying to get to the bottom of her concerns are of course Jackson Cooper and Clark Slatterty, the two men who she loves. She's just not sure which one she's in love with. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. Each can help her get to some answers she's looking for. She also needs to figure out who she can't live without. I will admit that her final choice wasn't my choice, as this male had never been my favorite. Unlike the Kathleen Turner Series, where I loved both Blane and Kade, I just didn't love who she chose. Not willing to give spoilers here, one just needs to read it for themselves. I have no intentions of deducting stars for who she chose or being a mean girl as I'd seen with the Kathleen Turner Series when Kat chose Kade.
I can not wait for the new series which I saw in the author's acknowledgements will hopefully be coming out this year. He was my favorite, from book one, and I'm curious to see the turn of events that he will follow. Foreshadowing also appears that Kade will be sticking around for that one too, which just makes me happier.
Save Me is book #4 in Tiffany Snow's Corrupted Hearts series. I have loved this series from the very beginning and have to admit I am sad to see it ending. All the books in the series have been great but this one is my favorite.
Tiffany Snow's writing pulls you right into the story. You're part of the action and feel the emotions. Save Me is full of action andadventures. It also pulls at your heartstrings as you feel the heroine, China's emotional dilemmas as if they are your own.
Thank you, Tiffany Snow for sharing this awesome series with your readers.
I recent an ARC from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
I say this every freakin’ review of the series and I’ll say it again – I freakin’ love China Mack. While I’m not a computer geek genius, I identify with the girl who doesn’t quite fit in. Though the men in her life think so, she doesn’t think she’s attractive and I liked that too. And she’s all about a great sports car. Most would see her slight stature, glasses and social awkwardness and never believe how strong and heroic she is. I love her quirks and how she puts them aside when it comes time to step up. It may be pizza night but if the world needs saving China can adapt.
That she has two men in love with her is another reason she’s the bomb (do people still say that?). Both Jackson and Clark are strong, sexy, loving and lovable guys. I like them even more for the way they treat China, their acceptance of her quirks and their stalwart love for her. I really was more of a Clark fan but Jackson is a great guy too.
This series has it all – great characters, intense situations and international intrigue. Save Me is a great and satisfying conclusion of the series with all the best aspects of the previous books and well tied up endings. I hate seeing the series come to an end but this end didn’t disappoint.

Save Me was a great end to the series – and I’m not just saying that because China ended up with man I wanted!
This book focused on China investigating how her mother died. She also spent time reflecting on the two men her mother loved, and the parallels she saw in herself for how she felt about Clark and Jackson.
I felt like China grew a lot during this book. She looked within herself to figure out who she was and what she wanted for herself. China knew she loved both Clark and Jackson, but she was only in love with one, and she struggled with her decision.
There isn’t a whole lot I can say about this book without giving anything away. I thought it was a good ending to the series and I look forward to reading what’s next from Tiffany Snow. (Be sure to read the acknowledgements for a hint at what’s to come.)
ARC kindly received from the publisher via NetGalley.
This has been an incredibly difficult review to write. Save Me is the fourth and final instalment of the Corrupted Hearts series.
When I first picked up this novel, I did something I don't normally do and skipped to the end to ascertain who won China's heart simply because I wanted to know. I read the final chapter and the epilogue before going back to read from the beginning onwards. I'm not going to give any hints or clues to the conclusion of that particular plot thread, so you'll just have to read this book yourself to make that discovery. I will add, my actions didn't impact on my overall enjoyment of this novel and I don't regret my uncharacteristic impulsive action.
The lives of China Mack, Jackson Cooper and Clark Slattery become more complicated when it becomes clear both men want China and she herself loves them both too, which isn't surprising. They are drop-dead gorgeous and powerful men so it's understandable the heroine is spoilt for choice and is undecided. Yet, China does make her choice but the decision doesn't have a noticeable "bells and whistles" impact I was expecting.
However, the conclusion of China's 'Happy Ever After' didn't go entirely as I predicted and an unexpected twist was a welcome surprise. However, because I've continually felt during this series that I was reading a narrative I've read before, it didn't have the impact it should have because I just wasn't invested in the protagonists and their tangled relationships to really care.
The suspense of the narrative is fast-paced as I've come to expect with this author and definitely the most positive aspect of this and the previous novels in the Corrupted Hearts series. Whereas I've struggled to wade through the storylines in the first three books, the writing seemed clearer this time around so I wasn't tempted to put the novel down until I'd finished reading the whole book. Whilst held captive as the numerous plot lines are tied up, I admit to rolling my eyes for each mention of the heroine's favourite biscuits. I wasn't interested enough to understand the acronyms displayed on her fan-fic clothing or tempted to find the meanings on Google. That aspect of China character went over my head and a big reason why I've had trouble relating to her throughout the series.
If I was a new reader discovering Ms Snow's novels and this was the first series of hers I'd read, the rating would be much higher than what I've given. I've read all her novels she's published yet this series has failed to shine for me because whilst the characters, plot and setting are original; the elements shaping the narrative trigger memories of a previous series I know inside out. (Thoughts based entirely on my own reading experience)

This is the fourth and final installment in the Corrupted Hearts series. During this series, we have been gifted with 3 interesting characters, including a smart and strong heroine and 2 strong, albeit different, heroes.
The good: per usual, Tiffany Snow delivered an action packed and exciting finale. There was steam, angst, and choices to be made. But who, pray tell, did China Mack choose? Ms. Snow made us love both Clark and Jackson, but just like in Highlander, there can only be 1. I will not spoil this for anyone, so you'll have to read the book to find out.
The so-so: this is where I'm torn. Although I liked this book really hard, I didn't love it the way I've loved her other books. There were times that I felt the plot was rushed or missing elements that would solidify and support what was going through the characters heads. When all was said and done, my stingy and selfish heart wanted more build up there at the end.
But that ending!!! Jeez. The nerve of this naughty author. I shed actual tears. Then, I suppressed the urge to throw my ereader. Then, I realized that I really liked and appreciated what the author had done.
4-4.5 stars for making me love these characters. I'm taking a half a star because I'm a jerk and don't agree with China's choice.
Thank you to Montlake and Netgalley for providing this ARC.
I feel like I cannot discuss the events of the story, because I don't want to give away who China chose or even if I was happy with that choice. I will say that I am happy with this: the one not chosen gets to be the focus of Snow's next series.
Kade Dennon (of the Kathleen Turner series) seems to be the instigating force in this story. He makes several appearances. In the first, he reveals something so stunning and sickening that it sets China's course of investigation for book four. He is also the one who prods her into making the choice of her real love.
So did I like it? Yes. Save Me is well-written with good action. Thankfully, I didn't cry as much as expected (I think I got dehydrated while reading the "Tangled Ivy" and "Kathleen Turner" series). China's family doesn't appear in the story and I missed them. There are great scenes with both Jackson and Clark. China's choice felt very natural to the story and the mystery had a good conclusion. I'm excited about the new series to come, but I am going to miss China Mack. Maybe, like Kade, she can make guest appearances in the future.
