Excellent illustrations, almost fifty wonderful stories. Perfect for the bedtime story or to improve the child's reading skills.

What a wonderful collection of newly illustrated classic children's stories. I enjoyed flipping through and seeing the vibrantly colored pages. The stories took me back to my childhood, and would be a wonderful book to read at bedtime.

What a wonderful collection! This is such a mix of 49 stories that you are sure to see a few atleast that you have not heard before. I enjoyed all of them and this is definitely one to add to children's bookshelves. The illustrations are very good. My only issue is that I wish there were slightly more pictures, and that alone is the only reason this is 4 stars and not 5. Maxine Barry did an amazing job of this book. Highly recommend.
